The goats and dogs are absolute sweethearts and all come running when they see you for pets. -Poison oak is now extinct on my property. -The ground is fertilized and there is nothing to clean up other than sticks. The bad: -Noise. The "baaa"-ing was one thing, but the guard dogs were pretty brutal through the night. We had some coyotes hanging around so there was lots of barking. My pour was 1670 square feet with 33 cubic yards 1697 that had a fair amount of complexity in terms of drainage and curbs and levels. The set up took 3 days including grading, forming and rebar with a crew of eight. I also added my neighbors smaller driveway that enlarged the project by 450 sq ft and took our pour up to 42 cu yds. On the pour day we had 14 finishers who did a quality job, and on the following day they returned to finish removing forms and did an excellent cleaning up removing all construction debris. This is a top quality second generation family company. I found the entire team to be easy to deal with, friendly, very professional and conscientious in their work. It was over 3500 sq ft of lawn and irrigation, as well as concrete fixes around other parts of our property and pool tile repair. I chose them because they had the best strategy to combat the problem, even though they weren't the cheapest quote we received. I wanted the fix to last long term, not just hold me over for a year or two before another gopher invasion destroys our yard. Everything was extremely professional and delivered to contract specifications. We were extremely happy with the results. They had to move a portion of our fence to get the big equipment in but you wouldn't even know it had been moved because they were total pros putting things back. When we asked for additional scope of work (a French drain), they were quick to get back to me with a quote and incorporating the additional work didn't push out the timeline. All in all, highly recommend and we'll definitely use them again for our landscaping needs.

I would have been better off hiring men from Home Depot. Totally unprofessional, rushed the job, ruined a couple of plants and didn't give a shit how it looked, even after I showed the owner the damaged plants and all the broken branches only to find more as the branches dried out in the weeks to come. He tells me the plants are delicate, but yet they didn't treat them that way. I will never hire this unprofessional company again and recommend that you don't hire them either. They have plenty of help to do a good job, but refuse to do so. This was a total rip off job to the tune of $500. I got a couple of quotes through Yelp, but ultimately decided to go with Kay Green -- and I'm so glad I did. It took Young and his crew about a day and a half to complete the project. I live in a townhouse community, and they were very respectful of the shared space. They did an excellent job cleaning up the carport area they used for their equipment and materials. We ran into a few unexpected issues during the project, but Young was always upfront about what was happening and communicated his solutions clearly. His recommendations were thoughtful and turned out great. I would definitely use Kay Green again for any future landscaping projects and will happily recommend them to family and friends!
