Kay Green Landscaping has all 5 star reviews, that's why I went with them, I had them plant some plants and a tree for me and transplant a couple of other plants that were beautiful and doing well. They ruined and broke numerous branches while admitting that these plants are very delicate. They rushed the job that should have been at least two hours and finished in one hour. I should have stopped them after the owner told me to go inside and they will let me know when they were done. You never tell someone that's paying you $500 dollars to take your time and do a professional job to go inside. I should have told him to get the F off of my property and hired someone else. I would have been better off hiring men from Home Depot. Totally unprofessional, rushed the job, ruined a couple of plants and didn't give a shit how it looked, even after I showed the owner the damaged plants and all the broken branches only to find more as the branches dried out in the weeks to come. He tells me the plants are delicate, but yet they didn't treat them that way. I will never hire this unprofessional company again and recommend that you don't hire them either. They have plenty of help to do a good job, but refuse to do so. This was a total rip off job to the tune of $500. I'm so sorry I hired this clown to do this job, every time I look at what they did it makes me sick and pissed that I didn't throw them off my property and paid them nothing. I called Young and he picked up right away. I explained some irrigation and plumbing issues caused by another contractor's recent "fixes." I had already had two plumbers, a gardener, and a landscaper look at the problem, but no one could figure out why my previously working irrigation system stopped functioning after a pipe replacement and an added timer. No one could or would find my valve either. I had a feeling the other folks were just dialing it in. I sent Young some photos and a brief summary on Thursday, and he was able to come by the following Wednesday, which I appreciated. He diagnosed the problem in ten minutes and actually showed me the fix. Both timers needed to be on, the extra timer the plumber added should be removed, and a spigot needed to reconnect to the ground water line. Unlike prior consultations, he proved the issue instead of making a wild guess. The last landscaper wanted me to rip up cement to trace water lines. The quote Young provided me was reasonable and in line with another quote I had gotten from the other landscaper that wanted to install a new valve instead of finding the old one (same landscaper that wanted me to rip out cement). If I went with the first landscaper, it would've just added to my growing mess. Young is basically the Dr. House of irrigation. When we got a lot of rain in December, I noticed that the slope was pushing water towards my foundation. I called around during the holidays and Young was the first person to get back to me. We hired Kay Green Landscape 3 years ago to perform the hardscape of our yard renovation project. They poured a new concrete driveway and 10 steps in our front yard. They also refinished a brick retention wall, constructed a 50ft long wooden vines support and 3 smaller ones, 3 feet wide each. Our overall experience was good during the job.
