I checked the DekaLash website about a month before calling, where the classic set was listed as "starting from $99." I later received an email advertising 50% off, so I called to book an appointment and confirm the final price. The person who answered the phone was unfriendly from the start and gave inconsistent information. I was told the price would be $119, which I was informed was with the 50% promotion applied. When I asked what "starting from $99" actually meant, or how a 50% discount resulted in $119, I could not get a clear or logical explanation despite asking several times.I am still curious what "starting" means, is that the price for one eye, or do they charge per lash? At one point, I was told the original price was $200, yet even that did not align with the discounted amount quoted. The lack of transparency, basic math consistency, and unprofessional customer service made me lose confidence in the business entirely. Based on this experience alone, I chose not to book an appointment. Clear pricing and respectful communication should be standard, and unfortunately, this interaction fell far short. read more

GET LASHES DONE AT OWN RISK I Have to leave a review since extremely disappointed since this is not a cheap service. Went to get my lashes done, last month, and my service started falling out within a couple of days. I dont get lashes regularly so I was not aware what the normal fallout should be, but within a week, it started looking way more bare than a service that is supposed to last two weeks should. I went back to get a fill, and was told if they start falling out within days I could come and get a touch up free which i did not know. At this appointment i explained my concerns about how fast the others fell out. Now less than a week later, the lashes from my fill have grown extremely painful, and I just had to take them out asap as I could not sleep. As seen exampled below, there were a bunch glued together, which caused a lot of pain. Not sure if she used extra glue because she was scared of them falling out. Poor application both times I went. I will not be back. Sad i wasted $300 + tip. (It seems like this owner is also in the business of gaslighting their customers) , lashes should never be painful, i have clogged glands on my eyes that Ive never hsd before, claiming good reviews does not make a negative experience in your establishment impossible David. ACTUAL RATING = 0 Stars. I am deeply dissatisfied with the treatment I received from this business, even though I never received a service. My review reflects the unprofessionalism, lack of integrity, and appalling behavior of the owner, David, as well as their business practices. I initially scheduled an appointment for 9:00 AM on 12/30/24 by calling over the phone and specifically requested a lash artist recommended to me. The night before the appointment, I received a text stating that my appointment was canceled without explanation. When I inquired, I was told that the lash artist was no longer with them and was offered an appointment with another artist for 9:00 AM on 12/31. This appointment was critical for me, as I had planned to get my lashes done for a New Year's Eve party and had scheduled all my beauty care services and work commitments around this. Despite the inconvenience, I rearranged my work schedule and obligations to accommodate their proposed time. However, after confirming the new time, I was informed it had already been taken. They then offered me a 12:00 PM appointment on the same day. Once again, I had to frantically adjust my schedule, which is difficult because I work on a boat with limited flexibility. On the day of the appointment, I was running a few minutes late due to work obligations. I called to inform them and was told it would be fine. However, shortly after, as I was driving to them, I received an automated text that my appointment had been canceled without explanation. To make matters worse, the owner, David(he must have small tough guy energy lol), texted me, accusing me of "fraudulent activity" and threatening to report me to the police. You can see his condescending tone that he is mocking my job telling me to have fun fishing(see attached photos). This baseless and offensive accusation was completely unfounded. Simultaneously, they attempted to charge my credit card $80 for an appointment THEY canceled. Thankfully, my card was locked, so the charge was unsuccessful. I was left scrambling to find another lash artist at the last minute during the busy holiday season, which was incredibly stressful and difficult. Their unprofessionalism nearly ruined my plans for a New Year's Eve party. Despite this awful experience, I gave them another chance. Fast forward to end of January, I scheduled a 2:00 PM appointment for January 23rd, only for them to cancel it the night before. I asked why my appointment had been canceled and today, on the day of the canceled appointment 3 hours prior to my scheduled appointment, I was accused of not showing up for previous appointments, and they again attempted to charge my card $80 for a canceled service.Yes, I will admit that I did not show up to my last appointment and that's due to the fact that THEY canceled my appointment before it's start time, and after they canceled it they attempted to charge me for it. This business's lack of professionalism, consistent cancellations, and unfounded accusations are unacceptable. Their attempts to charge me for services not rendered are unethical, and I am reporting this incident to the Better Business Bureau. I have added photos of the correspondence I received from David, The Owner and his staff. I strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere. I recently had the displeasure of visiting Deka Lash. Not only did they provide subpar service, but their customer service and refusal to issue a refund were nothing short of appalling. I initially had high hopes as this was my first time ever getting lash extensions done. I wanted to try them before I went on vacation so I wouldn't have to worry about gluing on falsies then, so I had them done Friday, May 12th, the day before my birthday to try them out. My lash tech Jillian was pretty nice, and I was initially happy with the lashes, but I later realized just how uneven and poor quality the lashes were. The lashes were mostly concentrated in the center of my eye, which just turned out to not be a flattering shape for me at all, and hardly any lashes were on the inner and outer ends of my lashes. My right eye is where all the major problems were, though, because the eye pad was placed too close to my eye, and it gave me a chemical burn and left my eye irritated for almost 4 days. The lashes were also placed too close to my waterline, so they caused a poking pain, and I had to rip a few out so they would stop hurting. Lastly, the lashes themselves were very plasticky instead of fluffy and, with the glue, felt crispy when I touched them, which was a sensory nightmare. The discomfort was unbearable, and my right eye turned bright red and shrank, looking odd in all my birthday and Mother's Day pictures. I contacted Deka on Monday when they reopened after Mother's Day, expecting a compassionate response and a willingness to rectify the situation. Obviously, I wanted the lashes removed asap so my eyes could start healing, and I had a memorial to attend in the evening, so I had a window of a few hours where they could do it. The owner, David, said they were completely booked and could get me in the next day, and I said that would not work. Then he said he could only get me in at 5pm, the time of the memorial I had to attend. That would also not work, so I called around other lash places to see who could fit me in for removal, and I went elsewhere. I let David know this and requested some kind of refund since I paid $200 for lashes that I only wore for 3 1/2 days and were painful the entire time. David STOPPED REPLYING to me and finally replied 4 days later and said he could not offer a refund since my schedule didn't allow them a chance to deal with it in their studio and that is their policy. I was met with resistance and a complete lack of empathy from David himself. This outrageous response only served to highlight their incompetence further. Why should a paying customer suffer because of their inability to accommodate a simple appointment? It is bad business to expect a customer to accommodate your schedule. Despite their failure to provide a safe and satisfactory service, David stubbornly stood his ground, refusing to acknowledge the distress I experienced or take responsibility for his salon's shortcomings. This behavior is an affront to customer service standards and clearly demonstrates a lack of integrity and accountability. The fact that I had to spend additional time, effort, and money to rectify their mistake is simply unacceptable. What is most disheartening is the absolute lack of care shown by David and his team towards their clients. In an industry that thrives on building relationships and maintaining customer satisfaction, this level of apathy is unforgivable. I implore anyone considering visiting Deka Lash to think twice and seek alternative options. Your time, money, and eye health deserve far better treatment than what this establishment offers. Their subpar service, accompanied by an atrocious lack of customer care, demonstrates their utter disregard for providing a satisfactory experience. It is clear that their priorities lie solely in profit rather than customer satisfaction. I am never getting lash extensions from anywhere again after this experience. read more

I would not recommend this establishment I had lashes put on for an event out of town. I was not satisfied when the technician put them on unevenly, I expressed that I wanted a light natural application this was ignored and a thick wall of lashes was applied unevenly. I lived with it went out of town came back yesterday and contacted the business to please remove them. The lashes fell out leaving holes and causing pain on my lashes. I explained this to the technician and she referred me to the owner who refused to remove my lashes as a courtesy and insisted on removal with a fee. It's not the money it's about the courtesy to an unsatisfied customer and shows a lack of respect from the owner of this business. I would give him no stars but that is not available. As someone who has been getting lash extensions since 2017 I consider myself a "pro" when it comes to finding a lash artist. Kayla is by far the best lash artist I have ever worked with. She applies the lashes with such precision and her technique is flawless! She is always a true sweetheart and will make anyone feel very at ease. Had we not been having such a great time talking I would have been able to fall asleep because she is so gentle with her application you don't feel a thing! With Kayla's application I can typically get 3 weeks or more out of my lashes before needing a full! I have seen two other lash artist at this location as well and while one girl was very nice, most of the lashes fell out within a day. The other girl was very rude and also tried to upcharge me for a full set saying my lashes were less than 50%(they definitely were not) and was trying to say the system was down so I would pay cash(which she was clearly trying to pocket) I have not seen the rude little thief girl there since that experience so hopefully she was fired.
