After a terrible experience with a lash artist working out of her home, I was looking for a more "official" lash studio where I could be sure that all technicians were certified and that cleanliness standards were being upheld. I had been to Deka Lash once several years ago and hadn't had the greatest experience but I decided to give them another shot - I am so glad that I did! My first recent visit to Deka Lash was for a complete removal of the mess that my previous technician had glued to my eyelids, and then I was scheduled a few days later for a new classic set. I've been seeing Lindsey for my classic refills as of late and she's really awesome, although all of the techs at Deka Lash do a great job. The nice thing about Deka Lash's corporate ownership is that you can see whichever tech works best with your schedule and expect the same styles/materials/quality regardless of who your appointment is with. The salon is clean and comfortable and they offer for sale a variety of extension-friendly products designed to help you maintain your lashes at home (I.e. makeup remover, cleansing kits, mascara, brushes, etc.). Another plus: online appointment booking makes scheduling super easy. As long as you book a few weeks out, you can usually find openings on the days/times that work best for you. Lash extensions are not cheap, know that off the bat. Deka Lash's pricing structure is about average (perhaps a bit on the expensive side) for salons in the area. Deka Lash does offer a membership program that comes with pricing discounts but admittedly I don't really know much about it, I always just pay as I go. read more

VERY disappointed. In anticipation of my best friend's son's wedding, I had scheduled a first time eye lash extensions and brow tint for the day before the wedding. I received a text an hour before my scheduled appointment that Hannah had a medical emergency (sincerely hope that she is okay) and could not do the service. I called the salon to see if they could honor my appointment, but only got a "we can have someone do it next week" response. I have been going to deka lashs for a while now and have had 2 very friendly ladies do my lashes. Francesca and Angelika are both great to work with , they listen to what you want and if you notice something needs to be fix they fix it. They will give you their recommendations and it's up to you to decide what you want. I do the monthly subscription if $124 and get fill ins every 2 weeks and it works for me. As soon as you walk in the vibe is chill and the music normally is settling. It's always best to use the bathroom before you go to lay down for your appointment because it's going to be awhile before you get up again . read more

I really want to give 0 stars, but what this place is good at is making last minute appointments work. For their flexibility, I'll give them 2 stars. But it comes at a steep price tag: your lash shape will suck, but you'll get by. The cost is pricey. Whether for a new set or refill. Tips for new are $20-40 recommended (well over 20%... rude) or $10-20 recommended for fill in. The lash techs are hit or miss. I had 3 in the past and 6 months that I liked and it sucks that they were here. They were sweet girls but honestly you're better off somewhere else because lash quality sucks. I decided to do the membership since October/November and it's been terrible. For the $70 monthly, with a new fill every 1.5 months, I would expect better results. The most recent encounter was immensely rude. When I went to go get my latest full, the new tech told me she recommended the fanned grouped lashes and I had mentioned to her to please not use much of it because my lashes don't tend to hold onto them well and they flip and fall out. She argued that the single lashes are more likely to fall, but agreed to doing single lashes. -- I was clear that I wanted a *classic* cat eye. Not the hybrid or volume. Not even a day later and I come to see that 6 lashes fell that were grouped (6x3 = 18 lashes on one eye alone fell off). Imagine how bare that eye looked. I had a Vegas trip so I couldn't come anytime soon to get it corrected. When I messaged the salon about how I didn't get the service I paid for (I.e, told them I wanted classic set and instead got the grouped lashes that I warned against) I was told it was too late. They were only willing to fix my inner corner. TLDR; don't waste your money here unless other places are booked and you're desperate. My lashes shouldn't look empty only 1.5 weeks out from a classic full set. They usually hold really well for 3 weeks. read more

I barely look like I have lashes on. I showed the lash artist what I want and she did the complete opposite. On top of that glued my eyes shut and I had to pull them open! Yes both eyes!! How is this place in business? I told my lash artist I wasnt happy with the lashes and she said she would be happy to take them off!!!!?! Who says that? I've been going to Deka Lash for almost a year and I've never been disappointed. They're always on time. I've never been there for over an hour. My lash artist Lindsay is very sweet and professional. I can't imagine not getting my lashes done. They have other services that I have not tried but I'm looking forward to adding some on in the future. I have mixed emotions about this place. Initially I would have gave deka lash a 5/5 star rating, but this changed after I came as a lash model to get my complimentary extensions. Originally when I first came here with my groupon deal, I was ecstatic with the results. I wish I could remember the name of my esthetician, but she did a phenomenal job!! The lashes stayed on for about 2 months and it was the perfect blend of natural and glam. I was so happy with the end result that I was so so excited when I received an email stating that there were complimentary services available as a lash model. My experience here as a lash model was unsatisfactory. Although I understand that I was used for practice, my lashes did not even last for a week!!!! I'm not sure if she used the wrong glue or if she used the wrong type of lashes, but i was disappointed at how quickly they fell off. The lash artists are nice and the place is clean, but my lashes never stayed on for more than 4-5 days, I tried this place 6 times with no success. They offer a 5-day guarantee, but who has time to keep going back? My friends were all talking about lashes and one said that she has to find out where "so-and-so" gets her lashes done because they looked so good, here I am sitting there with $$ hundreds spent on lashes and nobody asked where I got mine because I constantly have bare spots or they are twisted, they never looked good except for the first day. I have to move on, I canceled my membership but will still get billed for another month - such a waste of $$. Lindsey was very kind and good with the lash application. I just had the True express full set service last night and had the cat eye style. After getting home I decided that the outer lash length was too dramatic (my fault for choosing longest length). This morning I sent a message for someone to contact me to adjust the length of the outer lashes. A technician from the salon called me and the response I got was that I would be charged for a full refill at the cost of $80.... When yesterday I paid about $69. Ridiculous!!! What a disappointment. I went in for a lash lift. My technician was lovely but the results are non existent. My tech asked if I wanted natural or super curl. I went for the super. For real? I just threw away $79 bucks. Ok - so here's an update. Nick, the owner, reached out and offered another try at the lash lift. I am going to Vegas soon and thought I should get lash extensions so I don't have to deal with putting mascara on during my trip. I choose for the classic look because it said right in the description that it would "give me the mascara look without the mascara" and I'm not even exaggerating when I say I could barely see a difference. Absolutely horrific! Not trained correctly. Facility was dirty. Clumps of glue on lash line. Some lashes attached just to the lash line and not to the lashes itself. The ones attached to the lashes were attached to 3-4 which isn't how it should be done. The glue was so sharp it torn my contact lenses. I paid for a hour service and service was 40 mins with all different lengths. When I called customer service would only offer me to come back in. What a joke. My daughter and I were excited to try this place out. The salon was beautiful and technicians were super sweet. This was not my first time getting extensions so I know what to expect as time goes by. Our entire right eye extensions started to fall out immediately and are now completely gone. The good thing about this place is that they have a "5 day fix" policy. I had the worst experience here. I went in and specifically said do not make me look like I am from Jersey Shore and they instead made me look like a clown with these completely way to big eyelashes. Second I went to a new place because they were itchy and hurt - the new lounge took pictures and let me know that there were way to many eyelashes for my eyes and even had some attached to my eyelids. I called and canceled the membership that I had purchased from them immediately and was assured that it was taken care of that I would not hear from them again. Fast forward to end of April and I see that they have been charging my card for 3 months - When I called to dispute this the girl on the phone told me that she could not do anything and there was not an actual direct number for even her to call management. She had to email them and wait to hear back and that she would request they contact me. I have since filed a complaint with my bank and want everyone to know how bad the service is there. read more

I got a classic set about 8!days ago and my left eye appears to have lost more lashes than the rights the technician told me that my own outer lash is kinky making it difficult to have an extension there but there seems to be a fair amount of loss of lashes. for a full set, it took only 1 hour. typically, my full sets take about 2 hours. the corners of my eyes don't even have any lashes and i specifically asked for longer lashes on the corners. my lashes look like shit and i know within a week they'll all be shedded off since she did only one layer. there are 3 layers to the eyelashes i'm a licensed cosmetologist. you can't fool me. huge waste of money read more
