Front office receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. There is complimentary hand sanitizer in pocket sized spray bottles free at the front desk counter. I took 2 bottles home with me. Some gripes about this place. They keep this place abnormally freezing. No joke, it is as if they are trying to keep ice cream frozen in here. Normally I wouldn't mind but it makes a huge difference when you're placed in a machine on your back on a table and you're required to lay still for a 40 minute MRI. Worse is that I was in a t-shirt and shorts. If you come here for an MRI please be sure to wear pants and a jacket. Make sure you bundle up or you'll be in a state of near semi hypothermia after your MRI. I weigh about 200 lbs and I have a good tolerance to cold environments due to my body fat but I was shivering inside the MRI room about 10 minutes into my scan. I was offered a blanket by the MRI tech when I mentioned this but that only helped a little as the entire room felt like an iceberg. All staff here was friendly and this place is very clean. When I left this place, I immediately went into my car and blasted my heater for 10 minutes before I even left the parking lot. Does Elsa from Frozen live in this place?!?!? Sheesh. Full body brain freeze if you come here unprepared. Whoever services the air conditioning at this place truly is the best air conditioning provider in Arizona. If you have a friend that's coming here, than try to prank them by telling them to show up in shorts and t-shirt like I did. They will hate you for it and you'll get a good laugh. My first case I was in my own clothing but the 2nd I needed to change. (nothing metal such as a bra or necklace) Dave the MRI technician was helpful in that he explained how long each scan would take 2- 5 min. It was a Friday & it actually felt good to close my eyes and just rest + listen to the excellent calming music. It was almost like a day at a Spa. Though MRI's make a noise, it was not scary to me at all. The front office staff were very helpful and friendly. I was in and out in 30 min. or so. There was plenty of free parking. It was tempting to stay surrounded by the pleasant music selection.

I called and booked an appointment to see Victoria Mogilner, who sees Dr. Shawn Meyer's clients at Regent Healthcare, at 8 am on Wednesday, since she was fully booked on Tuesday. I'd decided last night that I was going to call out of work today, as I just knew I wouldn't be able to be of great service to my colleagues and our employer's guests. After discussing my plans for tomorrow to see an acupuncturist and massage therapist with Mom, she asked if maybe I should try to see the chiropractor, too, and since our insurance covered chiropractic treatments, I thought I'd give the modality another go- I've seen a couple of chiropractors since the 90's, but found I really enjoyed the massage sessions of chiropractic care most. I called Dr. Meyer's office and was happy to hear that I could see him at 1 pm- he sees patients here Tuesdays & Thursdays between 1& 6 pm. The receptionist was either new to the office, or wasn't familiar with this clinic (perhaps filling for someone today?), and it was around 1:20 pm when she finally gave me paperwork to fill out- Meyer had already welcomed me to his clinic and was greeting patients and directing them to different rooms and stations. I don't know if it was the state of my sitting down and hunched over filling out and signing ten to twelve pages, or my being so close to getting the help I needed, or maybe both, but my pain was getting worse. It was both a blessing and a curse that the temperature in the clinic was chilly*-- I was so cold that I may have napped for a few seconds. Thank goodness that the doctor was finally able to see me! I went into a room that had a chaise lounge that had a slat on one end where presumably the face (and nose) would rest on when the doctor asks the patient to lay with stomach side down. After reading my list of complaints I'd written amongst the paperwork I'd just filled out earlier, he first had me sit up straight to assess the strength of my arms. He then gave me a short neck and shoulder massage session, which felt great, and mentioned that I did feel very tense. He then asked me to follow him through a hallway to a room where others were laying prone on beds receiving heat lamp treatments, grabbed a stability ball, and showed me how to do a couple of stretch maneuvers. After verifying that I was following his instructions accurately, he left me to tend to his other patients. I didn't have to wait long for him to check up on me and take me back to the first room, this time to lay on my stomach-- so glad he had placed a disposable liner where my face was going to touch the bed. After quickly massaging my shoulder area and hitting a couple of trigger points on my neck, he placed his hands on my back and moving his hands around for a few seconds, and just when it dawned on me that he was about to manipulate my spine, I felt and heard the cracks! Oh. My. Goodness! Like I said before, I've had adjustments, but none of them were this loud, nor had gone for so long, or so it seemed, and none made me feel so much better instantly!** He then asked me to turn around and sit down, moving the bed to a reclining position as I did so, and asked if I was feeling better already, and I agreed that I was, and soon he was cracking my neck on each side... I swear it was like 90 minutes of massage therapy in one minute of spinal manipulation, without the soreness. (That would come later.) After the adjustments, Meyer said he'd try to see if Victoria could see me today, as she was seeing other clients here today. I had to wait fifteen minutes, but she was able to squeeze me in. She actually used both electric shock treatment and acupuncture on me, along with a muscle pain ointment, and even applied four acu-magnets on my left ear, whereby I could do self-acupressure as needed until I could see her again. How pleasantly surprised we were to get a call back from Dr. Tarazi's staff same day! I wish I had written down her name - she was incredibly helpful and efficient. As it turns out, the offices were closed but he was there working on charts, and offered that we come in. I was astounded, we weren't even established patients with the practice and he was willing to take the time to see us last minute - we were told to come right in. The compassion and care he showed towards my nervous and uncomfortable young adult was beyond anything we have recently experienced. The situation was handled, he was thorough and knowledgeable. We are clearly not just a face or number in this practice, he genuinely cares about his patients. I am confident that my entire family will be in good hands with Dr. Tarazi, and we have already referred other family members. We are very grateful!

I want to start out saying at first everything went fine from my colonoscopy , then i came a week…read morelater for a "follow up" . I was not told that i would be having a hemorrhoid band. I didn't eat prior, i didn't have anyone to drive me home. I went alone bc i was under the impression it was just a follow up. I get there and told I'll be getting a band. I asked if it will hurt they tell me it shouldn't hurt much. They didn't give me any anesthesia before hand. After it was done i was in so much pain. I wasn't given ANY paperwork on information about the banding. When i got into my car i got light headed and i couldn't drive nor sit. I had to lay in my car for 15-20 mins before leaving with my AC on blast bc i was overheating. Driving home i was in terrible pain, i couldn't sit while driving i had to stop many times on my way home which was a 20 min drive. I got home and laid on my bed and starting crying uncontrollably. My mom had to take the day off to come over and take care of me. I'm 28. She had to go get my meds for me and food bc mind you i haven't ate yet for the day. I ended up on bed rest for a week and half, i couldn't do anything for almost 2 weeks. I was always in pain. ALWAYS. When i asked the dr about it he just shrugged me off like i was crazy and just wanted more drugs. When i asked for more pain meds he told me he couldn't give me more even tho i was in Terrible pain... Follow up to today, i get a call from their receptionist Jane asking about my appointment tomorrow. I go to confirm it & explain my issues with the last appointment i went too. She then starts to talk down on me and tells me well if i knew i was susceptible to fainting etc i should have had someone drive me home. I explain that nothing was told to me besides it was a follow up. She continued to talk down to me and interrupt me. I had to ask her many times to stop interrupting me and let me speak. Eventually i told her if this is how things are going to be I'll be going to a new doctor. With a snarky remark she goes well then go find a new one. Absolutely shocked i told her I'll be talking to the doctor tomorrow & hung up. After thinking about this though. I called back, cancelled my appointment and I'll be finding a new doctor. I don't appreciate being spoken to like this as a patient and i feel like part of it is bc i am on acchss and the way i look as i have tattoos and colored hair. It doesn't matter NO ONE SHOULD BE TREATED THIS WAY PERIOD.

He is well versed with the latest treatment options and frequently teaches junior physicians at his own hospital as well as practicing physicians at national conferences. That said Dr Chung doesn't like to simply pass time and making small talk. He communicates his plan clearly and precisely and takes clinic visit very seriously and respects a patient's time. Dr. Chung prescribed medicine and gave out samples without performing any tests. He also asked the patient why he didn't take any medicine. Dear Dr. Chung, you don't force your patient to take medicine. Medicine can also cause the patient's condition gets worse. Turned out, the patient's seizure was not caused by his brain cells, but his spine misaligned. Luckily, the patient didn't use the prescription or the sample. Otherwise, the patient's condition will be really worse.
