I took my new PC here after I was done building it because I was not having luck with turning it on. After a day of looking at the system and even trying it with their parts to see if anything worked, I was told the power supply was fried and may have fried the other components. They recommended I RMA all the parts to get new ones from the manufacturers and try again. I did exactly that, but was sent back all the original parts with statements saying they were working. The employees stated if I brought it back to them they would put it together for me and load windows, for a price of course. Once I got all my parts back, I put it together again, and had the same issue. After consulting one of my buddies who also built their own PC, it was found that I had the front panel connector on the wrong set of pins. The Motherboard I have was a little confusing on where to put the connectors which is why this happened. I have lived in DeLand for most of my life and hoped we had some good businesses in our town; but my experience was not that. I am all for supporting small/local businesses.

But he wanted to try something over the phone to see if I could somehow get into the computer again. Unfortunately it did not work. He told me what was likely the issue and my options. He could have told me to come in and bring my PC and he could have tried to remove the hard drive and move my data over to another machine, etc. But he was very honest and said at this point, given the issue and the fact that the PC was over 5 years old the best thing to do would be to get a new PC. Honesty! I was very thankful to have reached Kevin. I feel like I got straight answers. He was friendly, showed concern, and was quick to call me back. Thank you Kevin! Receive a call from my bank that someone tried to transfer $2500 out of one of my accounts. Made a call to My Computer Man he was here in last then 4 hours and within 10 min. he found I had been hacked and someone else had control of computer, my accounts, my e-mail, all my passwords. The hack job was due to a stupid thing I did. Ninety minutes later Kevin had me back in control, passwords changed on all major accounts, and receiving all my new and old e-mails.
