So, I moved literally coast to coast - San Jose, CA to Daytona, FL. My desktop PC was packed (as carefully as possible) for the trek. But before heading out I opened it to see it was pretty dusty. Annnnnddd...to be sure, I didn't want anything shaken loose so I took it to Volusia based on great reviews here to give it a clean and once-over. Turns out not only was a fan knocked loose, but another wasn't even plugged in the right port. The price and turnaround was fair, so I followed up with having them replace a dying/dead battery in my laptop. Again, great job. I highly recommend these guys! read more

Recently I was looking for a reliable computer repair shop that wouldn't run me through the ringer, which is how I stumbled upon Volusia Computers. They offer a free diagnosis (unlike the big box retailers) and the work is done in house. My laptop however could not be revived back from the dead and they offered to purchase it from me (which helped with my newest computer purchase). I know it is hard to trust just anyone with your computer, but this company has always done an excellent job when it comes to my computer. I had a friend recommend their services last year and decided to use them to clean up my laptop after it crashed from a bad virus. I was sure that I would have to get a new laptop but they quickly in 24 hours not only had the virus removed but they cleaned everything up so my laptop would run quicker and told me ways to prevent another attack. I have also used their services to download all the info from one computer to another when I bought my new laptop. Boy what a relief to have it done right and ready to go. BEWARE!! On 2/10/12 I brought my computer in for a standard repair (it was slowing down). I had created a screen shot of my computer specs, and come to find out, when I got my computer back, one of my RAM cards were removed! I went from having 4Gb RAM to 2Gb RAM. When I brought this up, they claimed "They forgot to insert the RAM card after testing". Yeah right....be careful with these people. read more

This company is second to none. My daughter a nursing student had her computer malfunction in the middle of exam week. The computer held all of her study notes and other materials. I called Volusia Computers before they were open and left a message to expect me detailing my need and desperation, I live in Sanford Florida. It was painful to see my daughter in a panic, inconsolable and tearful about not being able to access her materials and fearful of failing her class. Upon my arrival the technician took her computer right away and began to work on it. He came out and gave me updates on the progress. honestly I felt like I was in the emergency room of a top quality hospital because of the skill, care and compassion that the employees of this company displayed. My computer was crashing and I brought it in to Volusia Computers for a free diagnostic test. Best decision I've made when it comes to computers. Not only did they work on the diagnostics over the weekend (they are closed) they called to follow up every day they had my computer. Bad news was the hard drive was failing. Great news was they were able to recover all of my data (and wedding photos)!!! These guys are great! They do what they say they are going to do, when they say they will do it! I chose Volusia computers because it got good reviews online - and everyone was right! They are very knowledgeable about what they do - and honest, too! Just from a short conversation on the phone, Matt was able to tell me what was wrong with my Mom's computer. I was able to immediately bring the computer to their shop and he fixed it right then and there! They had the part I needed brand new so no waiting for parts, either. The price was reasonable and he also gave me other tips too, which didn't make them any money because they don't sell the item. My mom was so happy she didn't lose any of her information and got it fixed so painlessly that all day long she kept saying, "I'm so HAPPY!"
