The center has parking, and is also fairly close to the bus and subway. For his set of screenings, my son needed to be asleep, and I was extremely skeptical that we'd be able to pull this off. But the office was great, and whisked us into a darkened room when we arrived early with a baby who was asleep, and the audiologist came to see us also before our appointment time. I've forgotten her name, but I think of her as a gentle ninja, who managed to apply various electrodes to my son's head without removing him from his carrier and without waking him up. She also explained each step of the procedure to us frazzled and exhausted parents, and immediately let us know how he had done in each segment of the screening. Taking a newborn out to medical appointments is very stressful, but I'm grateful to the Hearing and Speech office and especially to the gentle ninja who saw us, for setting this new parent's mind at ease.
