The last doctor I saw, brushed me off, said "You've been deaf for almost 15 years, what do you want to me to do for you?!" then practically kicked me out. Christine, however, has been so helpful!! My type of hearing loss is rather odd but she managed to find a hearing aid for me that works! She was very patient and understanding. She's also very knowledgeable about the products and will work with you until you find the perfect one. She explains everything in a manner that is really easy to understand. On top of all that, she worked with my health insurance to get a super low price on the hearing aids as well. Tip: they sell hearing aid batteries that are cheaper than at Rite Aid/etc! Seriously, A++++++++ doctor!

She is so helpful and pleasant every time I've had to call for my aunt. We had a visit with Dr. Lou this past Friday. He was so positive and explained everything in terms my aunt could understand. When I explained this to the elderly lady on the phone, she agreed to check on this and said I could call back in 30 minutes. Then she changed her mind and said she wouldn't do it, saying "She couldn't do this for everyone that called, it would tie up her computers". I explained that I was new to NY, I had ankylosing spondylitis and does he specialize in this. She then said she could not provide me with this information. I explained I needed an infusion, and she proceeded to argue with me that the doctor may not agree to an infusion. Even if I could see this physician Dr Prem Tambar, I certainly don't want to an office where this type of communication and treatment is provided.

There should be signs in the waiting room about using phone for videos on silent or with headsets. Because they already have a tv making enough noise. There should also be signs saying you can't use the cell phone as a phone in the waiting room. Headsets are needed. The welcome reception desk is nice. Well organized. Pleasant. Smooth. The appts seemed to be running on time. The rooms were clean and didn't feel cramped. The exit process was easy and smooth too. All in all this was a good place for a dr visit. They lost a star because the waiting room isn't managed as well as it should be. A few signs and a little bit of enforcement from the front desk staff will do wonders. I'd point out the tv isn't needed, or at least the volume doesn't need to be on, closed captions would be fine.
