Had to drive to location to get someone from this office to answer questions. Second time unreachable with wrong info. There is only ever one dermatologist at a time so the wait times are insufferable, plus they wait over a week to send your medications to your pharmacy. Go somewhere else if you can! read more

I was satisfied with getting an appointment quickly and the dermatology assistant I saw was very helpful. I am on the mend.

The actual staff of dermatologists is fine, but the communication is TERRIBLE. I have sat on hold for over 10 minutes multiple times and when I state so I am told "I am the only one here", yet when i came in for my appointment there were three people in the office. All I want to do is get my biopsy results. Very frustrating. By the way, never met Dr. Saruk. He may be a genius but his office staff is ruining his reputation. read more

I have been going to DE Valley Dermatology Group for about 5 years now. My 80+ year old friend went there, and always urged me to go to DVDG. I started to go there after the 'competitor' across the street retired. A vast difference between the two. DVDG is more polished and professional. Now my spouse goes there too! I see Jason. He is kind, sensitive and knowledgable. I hope to always have DVDG as a resource to go to, for my skin health! read more

Very happy with this practice! I like trying cosmetic procedures that can make a difference in my appearance, and I find this office to be extremely cost effective, but more importantly, professional and knowledgeable. Friendly people up front, helpful and caring people in the treatment room--I enjoy trips here. I like finding out about the newest and latest little things I can do that won't cost me an arm and a leg. This is really a lovely practice. read more

I have emailed 3 times trying to get a consultation appointment set up. I have not received anything back. So today I finally called to try to make an appointment. The receptionist was so rude and made it seem like I was bothering her with my call. She said I could see the physicians assistant in October and immediately pushed a date and time on me. I asked her if that person would be able to answer surgical and cosmetic questions and then she was even more gruff. I told her I had many different types of questions relating to both and then she tried to interrogate me about specific things...way too personal to speak to her about. I asked politely again if I could meet with someone to talk about both and again she huffed and puffed, making a huge ordeal about it. I started to cry and then said nevermind in a quiet voice and ended the call. I can't believe people from this place can be so mean to someone they have not even met!! read more

Last week I went in for my first experience with injections. I'm 31 and starting to show it, particularly around my eyes and mouth. I saw Kristen Fitzpatrick, a PA, who recommended Botox around each eye to soften crowsfeet and Juvaderm fir nasolabial folds and to fill in 3-4 really ugly depressed acne scars I've had since my early 20s. She explained exactly what she was going to do and while she was doing it. The pain was minimal - far less than laser hair reduction, for example - and I'm sure the topical Lidocaine Kristen applied beforehand made a difference. The entire thing took about 30 minutes. I couldn't tell you how many units were used, but Kristen said it was far less than patients usually do for both Botox and Juvaderm, not unusual given my age. She didn't pressure me to do more than I felt comfortable and said she would make sure I still looked natural. Afterwards the effects of the Juvaderm were immediate - the scars I had for 10 years across my forehead...GONE. For the first time in a decade foundation goes on smoothly, not like trying to apply it to the surface of the moon. I had two small bruises under my nose from the nasolabial Juvaderm, but nothing I couldn't easily hide with make-up. There was some minor tenderness that lasted two days. As Kristen advised me, the Botox took several days to kick in, and holy cow - no matter how much I squint, the crowsfeet are GONE. Completely GONE! And yet I still look like myself and can smile genuinely as always. I'd be reticent to try Botox before for fear of looking frozen, but fortunately that's not at all the case. The only difference is that my eyes look like they did five years ago - no lines. Now I understand why people appreciate Botox so much. No one - not even my husband - has noticed that I had anything done, which is exactly the way I want it. I believe many women do these types of enhancements purely for their own satisfaction, and I am definitely satisfied. All told, I'm thrilled with how things turned out. I highly recommend Kristen: she was professional, quick, communicative and listened and responded to my preferences. Very happy! read more

I have never been to a more courteous, efficient and professional practice in all my 56 years! I highly recommend this practice!!!!

I would NOT recommend this place. Office staff is not very accommodating or knowledgeable. When I first made the appointment for my daughter (2 years), I asked the scheduler if they took her type of insurance. I even gave the scheduler the id number and she said they accepted it. When I got there for my appointment the receptionist-who was the nicest one there- kindly told me that they do not accept that form of insurance. I explained my conversation with the scheduler and she apologized and informed me that i would be seeing a PA (which was not mentioned after I specifically said I wanted to see Dr. Michael Saruk) and the visit should be between $100-200. I called my insurance to see if there was any type of out of network coverage and they informed me of my deductible, etc. Needless to say I chose not to pay the out of pocket expense because I already pay out of pocket for my insurance. I dealt with a second receptionist to get my paperwork back and she was not sympathetic. As a specialty practice as "prestigious" as they portray themselves to be, they do not do a good job of catering to their new patients. Most offices confirm their patient's insurance before making the appointment and are sure to schedule them with the doctor they requested. Maybe they should retrain their staff with proper office practices and/or knowledge about insurances. read more
