I started coming to Dr.Kuti in 2016, My very first appointment with him, he mentioned I would need braces for my very complex mouth. I have appliances in my mouth from some missing teeth and he said he would work around them and eventually I will get implants. I got my braces put on Summer of 2016 by Dr. Kuti and up this date 12.2020 I still have braces in my mouth with NOONE in sight to even take them off. Every month I would go for cleaning and for the bands to be replaced. I did not know how unprofessional this whole thing would become until Jan of this year when I was scheduled to come in for my regular visit and was told my name was not on the books any longer and that I should find another dentist. I have been looking EVERYWHERE for a new dentist and NOT one would help me with the braces being take off and now I am stuck with metal in my mouth and daily toothaches that I can only remedy with tylenol or motrin. I have asked other family to help me and to no avail noone helped me. All I have asked for was for my braces to be take off by the person that put them in. My lawyer will be contacting this office shortly, at this point this the only thing I can do. They have a little toy treasure chest for kids and are perfectly professional with adults. Never had a problem with my insurance. It appears that this dentistry is not in network for any insurance company, and charges above and beyond what a normal cleaning would cost and be covered, resulting in the inevitability of the client paying for a cleaning. I expressed that I was told they would be covered. The lady on the phone said yes we could have mistaken that I am sorry, and I said ok well should I talk to someone or leave it alone as I am not paying for what I was told was covered. She said I guess don't pay. So that is where they have left it. I am hoping to hear from them so that I can end this review on a positive note.

Dr. May is very short and got very frustrated and agitated and got so frustrated he just walked out once by me asking simple questions, while trying to understand. One treatment he was recommending as "Phase 1" when I asked about it and the purpose after I knew the cost he said, "lets just forget about it... not important". This is not a situation that if a doctor recommends something important and the cost is high and you don't understand and ask questions the Doctor should just say, "Lets forget about it". Why was it recommended as a "need" in the first place than?! Trying to take in all the information and cost is a lot for someone that has never dealt with any Orthodontist issues in the past. His "bed side Manner" and customer service was very BAD. His assistant was very nice and trying to help the best she could. Since then he had taken care of both me, Nhung Thuy Pham, and now Ellie. 3 months ago I had the most horrible tooth ache to the point where I couldn't sleep and I would be willing to take any medicine to make the splitting pain stop. Dr. Jue said I needed a root canal which scared me as I heard a lot of bad experience with them. But anything to get rid of the tooth ache! He and his staff were very reassuring and the procedure went so smoothly that I didn't feel any pain at all! In fact it was the easiest most painless dental procedure I have ever had. Billing paperwork is lost and never found again. They send the wrong claim for type of anesthesia to insurance when a definite medical necessity won't be denied. They wait until the parent of the special needs child has to reapply for insurance to schedule the procedure appointment, making them pay out of pocket $4000.00+ dollars. When insurance is reestablished basically ghosted by all locations and leaving a special needs minor in agony for needing a root canal. No care for patient, No thought to patient status after months of pain. No follow up nothing. Communication to offices without a response. Really horrible experience.
