I've always been scared of going to the dentist since I been young. Going into my young adulthood, my teeth and jawline was so bad, I had to be on braces for over 5 years and with a metal brace inside my mouth. When I moved, I didn't think I could find another dentist like the one I had before but luckily I met Dr. Lance Jue when I moved to TX while working at the bank. Since then he had taken care of both me, Nhung Thuy Pham, and now Ellie. 3 months ago I had the most horrible tooth ache to the point where I couldn't sleep and I would be willing to take any medicine to make the splitting pain stop. Dr. Jue said I needed a root canal which scared me as I heard a lot of bad experience with them. But anything to get rid of the tooth ache! He and his staff were very reassuring and the procedure went so smoothly that I didn't feel any pain at all! In fact it was the easiest most painless dental procedure I have ever had. Thank you Dr. Jue and team for taking the pain away and putting a nice crown to fill it's place. If anyone ever needs to get work done or looking for a dentist who can get 2 people who are scared deathless of going to the dentist, he be your go to guy. Customer service is not even in the world of human decency. Forgotten patient is scheduled twice to bill insurance for the same pointless non procedure appointment. Billing paperwork is lost and never found again. They send the wrong claim for type of anesthesia to insurance when a definite medical necessity won't be denied. They wait until the parent of the special needs child has to reapply for insurance to schedule the procedure appointment, making them pay out of pocket $4000.00+ dollars. When insurance is reestablished basically ghosted by all locations and leaving a special needs minor in agony for needing a root canal. No care for patient, No thought to patient status after months of pain. No follow up nothing. Communication to offices without a response. Really horrible experience. read more

I highly recommend this dental office, I have been a patient at both locations since 2014. In my opinion Dr Yar Khan is one of the best pediatricians that I have ever met. He is the only dentist on earth that I trust 100% with my only child. His knowledge of his craft and his kindness towards his patients is why my family and I will always come here. Dr La does treatment for adults and I am completely satisfied with all of the work I have had done by him. Dr. Thomas at the Beechnut location is also wonderful with children my daughter use to get her first dental cleanings from her. Dr Trigger is a great dentist with a great personality. Last but not least my favorite dental assistant Ms Sholanda always does our cleanings, she is a superstar. Dr.Nina has been taking care of me and my son in the past year and my experience with her is nothing but excellent. Dr. Nina is such a through and knowledge dentist and really cares about her patient. Due to my recent change of dental insurance, I wouldn't be able to see her anymore, i had to see a different dentist at another clinic, which turned out to be horrible because he was money driven and tried to up charge me. I decided to stick with Dr. Nina as an uninsured patient this year. their price is much more affordable and Dr. Nina did a good job to my tooth as always. And did I mention that all the staff at Creative Smile are professional and friendly as well. The only downside here is sometimes the wait time could be a little be longer but it's worthy, because I know Dr. Nina is taking time to ensure all her patients get good treatment. read more

Let's me start by saying I chose this dental office not only because it was convenient but it had to word "Kid" in it so I just knew it was catered to children. The receptionist Dominique is very professional and warm and friendly especially towards the children, I observed her on both appointments that my child was in this office. Londa was very articulate on explaining my sons dental plan and very patient with me about the time, for I was acting like a inpatient mom. I'm sorry. Dr. Radford and Londa did an amazing job on making my little feel welcome and got him out in a timely fashion. And when the dental plan needed to be altered, they consulted me and I appreciate that. I will definitely be back for my sons yearly check up. Also I did not catch the name of the dental assistance and I guess the office manager, but both were warm and friendly and very patient throughout both appointments. I went in yesterday for an emergency exam because my toddler had been experiencing pain in his mouth. My appt was at 2 pm and I patiently waited until about 2:35 when I asked if I had the right time. The front office lady went to check and the pediatric dentist was not there! So instead they had the general dentist take a look and he found nothing. NOTHING! My 2 and a half year old has been screaming out in pain and pointing to his mouth. How could it be nothing?! Well later I ended up taking him to pediatric urgent care where they found sores on the palate on his mouth. This was a total waste of time and money. I am very disappointed! read more

Today, I received a phone call from one of the office personnel from Kidzone. They were accusing me of cashing a check from my insurance company that was meant for them. First of all, I have never heard of an insurance company sending me the consumer a check to give to the dentist! Who and why would they do that. Second of all, the line drop while I was talking to them. A minute or so later, Toni, the accounts manager leaves a very rude message on my voicemail. Yet again accusing us of not giving them a check for the insurance. She also threatens me that they will send it to a debt collections if not paid within 24 hrs. My child came in January of this year for a cleaning and they could of told us of any balances that need to be paid off, but they wait until May ONE YEAR AFTER her procedure. Most reputable medical offices send you bills stating 30 day, 60 day, 90 day or 120+ day balance....NOTHING was ever sent to us in regards to any debt that was not paid. After the voicemail, Toni, then decides to send me a text messages again stating... "This is Toni from Kidzone Dental. We are trying to collect a debt. We will start legal charges in 24 hours if we do not receive payment from you. Thanks." How am I, as the customer, suppose to know of any debt if they rotate through office managers like it's a revolving door. It is not OUR fault if their office doesn't know how to properly function. I am so glad that I have not put down a deposit for my son and his braces. This dentist office is disorganized and clutter is everywhere. Why is there a make shift office where you have child get their teeth x-rayed? Or boxes of product left on the floor for everyone to see? I even read the reviews and thought they cannot be as bad as some of these reviews. But surprisingly they are! Unless you cannot find ANY OTHER dentist in the Sugar Land or Missouri City area, then yes this would be the LAST resort! I highly discourage this dental office. If you want to find out for yourself, just think before you fork over any extra money or deposits. They charge $20 for a hygiene consultation and then $25 for a nutrition consultation!! What dental office does this! I get her PCP but the dentist!!! That was a $90 charge for what, something her pediatrician mentions every yearly checkup. read more

This business has cost me tons on money on repairing the botched work that I had done by one of their dentists. A dentist glued crowns on top of a partial bone and some gums which caused tension and infections of my gums on two teeth etc.. It has taken a long time to find someone qualified to fix the issues I was billed for my but never got done (they billed me to correct the work that they messed up). I filed complaints with my insurance and the dental board because I'm sure what's happened to me has happened to others, but I was never reimbursed for the services I never received. I would not recommend this place to anyone especially those with children. read more

Dr. Khan is really good with kids. Coming into my son's first dentist visit ever, he explained to me how much work I need to put into my sons diet to prevent better oral hygiene. My son needed a lot of dental work and made my son feel very comfortable during the procedure. He woke up in the middle of everything and stopped the middle of service so that I was able to calm him down. Then started again once he was relaxed. I'm so happy that I was referred to him. And would refer him to anyone else that needs dental work. My son's teeth looks beautiful due to dr. Khan. I took my daughter in today for a procedure and she tends to be nervous and had bad experiences in the past with other dental offices. She showed immediate comfort and trust with the staff as they were really great with each step from start to finish. Although this is an office for adults as well, Dr. Yar Khan was really great with my daughter and very patient as well considering he had back to back procedures and patients. It is now June. Every time I speak to them they give excuses. Toni, the financial manager, is a terrible manager who has lied to me continuously. Do not trust this office by any means necessary. My boyfriend needed significant dental work done. Kid Zone was AMAZING. Contrary to its name, Kid Zone is definitely also for adults. I can't express enough just how wonderful the staff is. Our dentist was extremely patient and accommodating. I would especially like to thank Celia, who went out of her way to make our experience exceptional. I have been coming to KidZone Dental for about more than 2 years now. The staff has always been friendly since and they are very caring and loving people as well. My little brother once needed some major dental work to be performed on him and Dr. Yar Khan was definitely the man to handle my anxious little brother. Dr. Yar Khan was able to calm down my brother and make him feel comfortable and safe in the clinical environment. My little brother now looks forward to going to the dentist and even reminds me every six months! This is the perfect and ideal setting for kids and even adults. I've been bringing my daughter here for 3+ years but I don't think I will be returning. Dr Yar Khan is great, however, his staff leaves a lot to be desired. There's a general lack of communication, and they're not that great with kids (I can get past that). Today I had a 6 month routine appointment for my daughter at 4PM. When I got there 5 minutes early, there were others in the waiting room, which is normal. By 4:20PM we were the only ones left and I asked the receptionist what was going on with the delay. I was told they were really busy. I then asked how much longer? She told me at least 20 more minutes. Could they not have told me this when I checked in? Given me a call and asked if I wanted to reschedule? I needed to be somewhere before 5PM, and I told them this. They said they would get us in and start on us, even though the doctor was really busy. Well, they cleaned my daughter's teeth fairly quickly and then we proceeded to sit there, neglected, for about 30 minutes. At 5PM I stood up and took my daughter to the front and settled the bill for the cleaning service (they chose not to charge me) and left. I let the office manager know that I did not appreciate the lack of communication and neglect. I will be looking for another pediatric dentist who values their customer more than this place. read more

Dr Khan is excellent. No concerns about him. But I am not happy with the staff AT ALL. I was trying to reschedule an appointment today that I cancelled last week and the receptionist was in so much hurry that she doesn't want to explain to me in detail. I was told that I will get a call back to reschedule to Houston location (original appointment was in Missouri City). 1st ...I did not receive a call back (waited for 3 days). 2nd ....receptionist today said (in not so good tone) that I will have to call Houston office to reschedule..then why in the first place that I was told to wait for a call? not happy at all with her tone and attitude. Even in Missouri City office, I took my toddler for a visit in November 2015 and I was made to wait for a very long time. When I informed the nurse that my toddler was crying..her reply was..."he is not crying when you lift him" followed by giggles....and now that is way too rude to behave with a patient. Even with this type of behavior...I tried to schedule yearly check ups for both my kids because I liked how Dr Khan took care of my son back in November. But I think with today's call with the receptionist, I am not going back to this clinic any more..fed up with long waiting phone calls to schedule appointments and then rude attitude towards customers when they finally stop putting you on hold after a very long wait time (yes this happened couple of times to me) read more

My son saw Dr. Yar Khan and his services were fine. The HUGE problem I have is that they overcharged me and have given me the run around about my refund. They owe me around $240 and I've managed to get $108 out of them and it took me 4 months of calling them to get that amount. I get every excuse in the book as to why there is a delay in getting my refund. From "we have to call the insurance company" - so I went down there in person and made sure they called the insurance company, "we need to talk it over with the Dr.", "the person that can help you isn't here today", "we will call you back" - I have yet to receive the first returned phone call. I am sick and tired of the circle jerk that comes with doing business with Kidzone Dental. Had I not read the EOB from my insurance I would not have known about this refund and I would bet money they would not have initiated a refund. They are always very pleasant as am I but dishonest is dishonest. read more
