This place is wonderful! I was really craving street tacos and found the location had changed. The last place was good but Delf's Grandma makes nearly everything from scratch!! Hand made tortillas l, house made chorizo these are key things nobody makes this from scratch! This is the grandma part. The very friendly woman behind the counter and the chef we're both personable and enthusiastic about their scratch approach. H had a chorizo taco and it was so good I almost forgot to snap a photo. I love the scratch corn tortillas and the flavor packed chorizo was sensational. I also had the Birria Tacos which is a low and slow stewed shredded beef So tender and tasty plus the special birria sauce is magical. Don't forget to dig in for the hominy in the bottom of the sauce container. Tasty delicious friendly staff and fairly priced. This is a real find and I'm happy they are only a few miles from my home.

Birria tacos, dominican empanadas, blt, fries, and chips w salsa.

First time trying, food was so good took some home and was still great warmed up. Nothing to complain about loved it. Definitely will come again!

Overall, the food was OK, the presentation of the fish at another table looked very nice, but the style of food is not really seasoned and so it's a relatively non-gastronomic meal but you leave feeling full. Maybe I expected more because I like Mexican and Thai food, but went into it with an open mind. It was clear that a lot of local Latinas went there, and that is a good sign that it fits the cultural expectation. So if you are Latina and know what to expect it is a good restaurant to try

This is to report a serious health and sanitation concern…read more On Friday, January 16, 2026, at approximately 12:26 PM, I was inside the establishment when I observed a roach crawling on the wall. An employee, who appeared to be the manager on duty (as she was older and seemed to be overseeing the shift), attempted to kill the roach. When she grabbed it with a napkin, the roach fell onto the table. The employee then killed the roach and disinfected the table. However, this same employee had taken my order and continued handling service immediately after the incident. The food was served, but none of it was consumed due to the health concern. There was one other younger employee present, but they were not involved in the incident. Camera footage should confirm this event, as it would show the employee killing something on the wall during this time. Due to the seriousness of the situation, I also contacted the Health Department to report this incident.

I decided to give this one a try. I finally broke down and stopped in for lunch on Saturday March 8. The place wasn't crowded. It's a bit spacious but not many tables. My first thought was that it would be hard to get a table at dinner time. I was seated immediately and my order came right away. The server was very seeet and friendly and always checked on me. I ordered a paellita noches with black beans as well as tostones (fried green plantains) I received the paellita that came with maduros (fried sweet plantains). I ordered black beans but Instead I got red beans. I let it go. The paellita was good and a huge portion. I had to take half home. I didn't care for the red beans. They were a bit tasteless. The tostones were bland and a bit too greasy. I added salt and dipped them in the beans. (I'm PR and we add salt as soon as the fried plantains come out the fryer so that it sticks or serve it with mojo). Tostones do not taste good bland. I may go again and try some different items, skip the tostones and make sure that I get my black beans. I'll update this review depending on my experience when I return.

I walked in and two super nice young ladies were making and serving the food. I appreciated that I was greeted right away and my order taken right away. If Yelp had star options for both the food and the service, I definitely would have given them 4 or 5 stars. I almost always go completely overboard when I try a place the first time. I picked up almost $80 worth of takeout so that I could try a little bit of everything. I really, really wanted to love the food here but I didn't. Unfortunately I didn't really find anything that I ordered that flavorful. The food wasn't bad by any means, it just didn't have the delicious flavors that I normally associate with great Puerto Rican food. As I mentioned it was an unbelievably hot day so maybe the cook was having an off day because of that. If I'm ever driving by there, I'd probably give it another chance since it has such great reviews from other people.

It's a very casual, cafeteria-style spot with a semi-open kitchen, but don't let the simplicity fool you -- the food is incredible and the staff here is friendly and patient. The highlight of the experience is the small buffet that features a variety of freshly-made Latin cuisine -- including pulled pork, chicken and beef stews, and other traditional Latin entrees and sides. You can build your own plate by selecting one or more entrees and sides - which are priced accordingly. As a 'gringo' who wasn't entirely sure what everything was, I really appreciated them taking the extra time to explain all the different options and give me their honest recommendations. The counterstaff is bilingual and were pretty patient with my elementary school level Spanish vocabulary and grammar. I ended up going with the pulled pork platter with two sides ($7) and it was terrific -- the perfectly seasoned and tender pork, black beans and rice, and macaroni salad were delicious and very filling. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and the portions are very generous for the price. If you're looking for authentic, home-style Latino food in a laid-back setting, this is the spot! PRO TIP #1: Bring a bottle of wine or beer from home to enjoy with your meal. Sazon Latino is a BYOB establishment and does not serve alcohol. PRO TIP #2: Sazon Latino offers free off-street parking in a small lot behind the restaurant and there's plenty of free on-street parking on Main Street.
