    Taco Tuesday Menu

Absolutely love this place. The taco tuesday menu is so well priced with great, quality options. The service is quick and so friendly. There's a cozy feel inside and I'm really excited to try their other main plates. Highly recommend coming here ASAP!

    Beef Chimichanga

Came in for dinner with a buddy. The place is all decorated in Mexico fare . Our server was awesome. I ordered a beef chimichanga and my buddy ordered a shrimp chimichanga. Both came out quickly and were delicious!. I highly recommend this place for Tex Mex Food!

It was like a day trip to Mexico. Cute place in the heart of Red Bank. Service was friendly and attentive. Let me start by saying I love fact that they serve hard shell tacos! Not many Mexican places do these days. The shells were very fresh and the steak meat was seasoned well and very tender. I also tried the chicken tacos and they were very good as well. The complimentary chips and salsa were excellent. I especially loved the green tomatillo variety. Spicy but not overwhelming. I will be sure to revisit this establishment for dinner. I'd like to try their fajitas. It's also a byob so bring your favorite bottle of tequila. Bottoms up!

Chimichanga dripping in oil (pic doesn't do it justice)

I've ordered from Carlos o'conners many times and enjoyed the food. With the name changing we decided to still give it a try assuming the food is probably still good...well we were WRONG! This was the worst Mexican I had in a long time. We ordered the beef and chicken empanadas. The beef tasted like old El Paso seasoning and the chicken was literally boiled chicken and that's it. I ordered the chicken chimichanga and it was awful... I couldn't even eat it. The chimichanga was sooo greasy it was sitting in oil. The inside was more boiled chicken.. no seasoning or sauce. The chicken was literally plain boiled chicken and it was wrapped with a little lettuce and tomato. My husband made the mistake of getting chicken tacos that included the same plain boiled chicken. Both dinners came with rice and beans... we ordered retried beans and got a side of Pinto beans. The rice had no flavor and was bright orange. The coloring was just off esp since it had no flavor. I was so disappointed... complete waste of money and barely ate dinner...

This place is awesome! I come all the way from North Jersey to eat Mexican food here! The place has a really nice atmosphere. Nice decor. Very authentic and cute. The staff is so so so nice and they give excellent service every time. They are very caring and accommodating. The food is SOOOO GOOD! You can tell they put a lot of heart and love into their cooking and their salsas, especially the green one, are delicious! I highly recommend this place. It's my go-to every time I drive to South Jersey/Red Bank. Order the Mocajete!

The menu was large and we had two options as part of a food tour I was on. I was able to try the scarpariello wings and boardwalk pizza. The wings were wood-fired with their special blend of seasoning and sauce along with cherry peppers. These were really tasty. The wings were a good size and the chicken fell right off the bone. The sauce had a slight kick to it with the cherry peppers present. The wood aspect of this dish was very noticeable too. The boardwalk pizza had house-made chorizo sausage, green pepper, onion, parmesan, Pomodoro, oregano, and red pepper flakes. This was alright. The crust was a little underdone for me, so it was a little flabby. The chorizo was the best part. I feel like jalapenos would have been a better choice of pepper here. The sauce was light and appetizing too. I also had a piece of bread that came out warm and paired nicely with the sauce from the wings. I was glad bread was provided to soak up that sauce! Will I go back? Probably.

Their rice and beans were also delicious. My wife had the grilled chicken platter and it was huge, I'd say enough for two, or to take home for another meal. They take reservations, but when we went, although we had reservations, they did have a couple of tables available. This place is perfect for a pre Count Basie show since is directly across from the venue. It is also a BYOB place. Overall a solid place to eat and enjoy some tasty Mexican food. The service was excellent also. Definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area

We were thinking based on the location that the prices would be high, but not at all. The prices were very reasonable. You walk inside and there were some tables already reservered. We found an empty table and our server was right over with menus and water. They serve complimentary chips and pico, The chips are homemade and very good. We decided on sharing the mixed grill fajitas. It was so good. There was a good amount of shrimp, chicken and steak. It had great flavor, and the homemade tortillas were very good. The green spicy sauce they provide isn't spicy but adds good flavor. We couldn't finish between the two of us. The food and service was excellent and would come back again.
