My family and I recently ordered 6 pizzas for a party we were having. They had them ready at the time we requested and even helped to walk them out to the car. I have had other pizza-type food from Crosby's including one of their combos which included a few mozzarella sticks and a pizza log which was the perfect little snack. This is also a gas station and convenience store. If you haven't tried this pizza place, give it a try, you'll be surprised at how good it is!

I came in around 9:45 p.m., and all of the pizza looked like it had been sitting there much longer than it should have. Because of that, I decided not to get any pizza. What made the experience even worse was an employee named Heather. She was with a man she kept calling "daddy," and they were kissing while I was standing at the register waiting to be checked out. I'm a patient person, but I ended up waiting almost 10 minutes just for her to ring me up. Calling someone "daddy" and showing that kind of affection while on the job is highly inappropriate and unprofessional. After talking to some friends, I found out that Heather regularly has her husband at Crosby's during the night shift, and they often call each other these inappropriate names. I will never be coming to Crosby's at night again. I hope Heather reads this review and either improves her professionalism or that management addresses the situation. I've also heard from multiple people that they avoid coming in when Heather and her husband are there because the atmosphere becomes uncomfortable and inappropriate.

But some (not all) of the food on offer is actually cheaper than the same item at the Value Mart just across the street. (And some of the items on offer for 98¢ can cost up to $7.98 at The Bargain! Shop in Crystal Beach. So colour me pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately, the selection is still pretty slim. This place is just too small to offer the same variety that you're going to find in an actual supermarket, but if this location is representative of Avondale, then the high-priced convenience stores like 7-Eleven, Mac's, Circle-K, and so on are going to have a hard time competing in this market.
