Small convenience store, but it's the FOOD that really shines. "Deli" undersells it... I've tried Burek (like a flaky pastry with feta and spinach filling) and it was delicious enough to get again the very next day. I got a couple slices/fountain drink for lunch one day ($5 bargain) and then a whole pizza for the family a couple days later... better than most pizzerias. Really. Mediterranean chicken panini was tasty. Tonight I tried a Toni's sub (steak and spinach on garlic bread) I'm also a sub roll snob and the whole thing was impressive. I also got a Crepe with nutella, bananas, and nuts - and it was big and delicious, and I might have to get one every time I order now. Give them a try. I'm glad I live close.

My dining companions & I agreed we had a difficult time choosing our entrees. Amongst the table, we shared the donut flight (chocolate, powdered sugar, and brown sugar cream cheese) and the sweet potato pecan pancakes. It was a unanimous vote that the brown sugar cream cheese donut was the best (and sadly, the powdered sugar donut was tough to cut with a fork and dry in texture). For my meal, I opted for the queso and pork stuffed chilaquiles verde burrito. The shell was crisp and the pork was tender but I could have used more verde sauce. The only downside was being the first patrons of the day and having to sit through nearly half our meal before drinks were refilled. I enjoyed the breakfast old fashioned before we left and look forward to the next brunch opportunity.

Food: 0/10 Alright this is the third time I've come to this location. I'm trying to be fair but the bad food is consistent. For instance tonight I got the "campfire" plate which was fries, Mac and cheese, chicken, and brisket. Fries? Too hot to eat first. Mac and cheese? Literally colder than room temp and DRY! No cheese...like cold dry noodles? The brisket was slimy and small portion sized, the chicken was fine I guess. Everything else was so gross though by the time I got to the chicken I didn't care. I've come every time with my family of 4, and all 3 experiences were the same. I wish the food was anything but what it is because I'd love to come back here. I'll never recommend it and I'm actually just going to give away my $100 gift card to anyone who wants to dare to eat here.

And it's worth the wait. The Poked Yolk is popular with the locals, and has an extensive menu (with full-service sit-down at tables, booths or the bar, along with take-out). The menu features a broad mix of breakfast, brunch and lunch offerings centered on comfort food with a few health-conscious options. Breakfast include classic egg plates, Benedicts, omelets, breakfast sandwiches, burritos and specialty dishes such as the Keto Hash, Crab Cake Benny and Jose Benny. Sweet breakfast selections include pancakes, waffles and French toast, with more indulgent options like White Chocolate Raspberry Pancakes, Cookies & Cream Stuffed French Toast and banana-themed waffles. I was very fond of the basic breakfast, the waffle and the bacon, which appears to be more of the delicious center cut. Lunch offerings include burgers, grilled sandwiches, wraps and salads and signature items include the -- get this -- Pepperoni Jam Burger. Fascinating. There is also the Cuban Sami, Mediterranean Sami and Cali Chicken Club Wrap. Lighter options include veggie-focused omelets, salads and sandwiches. Overall, the restaurant emphasizes hearty portions, customizable breakfast favorites and twists on traditional American diner fare while offering vegetarian, lower-carb and lighter options for diverse preferences. And the service is kind and attentive. Highly recommend!

Our waitress Natalia was very helpful and friendly and gave us great service! My only complaint would be that the blackened wings were slathered with barbecue sauce, but definitely not blackened. Good ambience here, and we enjoyed the small outdoor patio! As a matter of fact, we enjoyed it so much, we went back a day later with more family! Next time we all ordered burgers, and I had the Flying Byrd which was served with a side of sweet potato fries, and honey. The burger was spicy Cajun style with peppers, & it was large enough that I couldn't finish it all. The fries were crispy and delicious with the side of honey. I would recommend you give this place a try for an afternoon lunch, it was pretty busy for a Thursday afternoon.

I'd never before seen sourdough croissants or cheese danishes; there's an abundance of gorgeous loaves/boules for sale. (Cheese fondue supplies! Yes!!). A baker's rack to the right sells day-old bread at discounted prices (make your own croutons!) I opted for an almond (sourdough) croissant and a small coffee; I was asked if I wanted a mug or a to go cup? I was given a beautiful glazed mug - very charming! Two things worth mentioning: There's a small seating area downstairs, and five large tables upstairs. The stairs? A polite way of describing them is, "grandfathered-in". The rise/run makes it difficult to navigate if you're in thick boots, carrying a child, or have stiff knees. The pastry had a beautiful crunch. I enjoyed the almond flavor. And then I found: cherry preserves? I'm aware that "croissant et confiture" (eaten with jam) is a standard French breakfast, but it did change the mouth feel of the treat. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting to try something earthier and beautifully executed.
