My experience at Delia's was nothing short of astounding. Came in on a Sunday night with a few friends, and we were treated like royalty. First for drinks we got our usuals all modestly priced. The owner then offered us a taste two beers from a local brewery Transmitter, which were both delicious. Then we ordered a cheese plate steak skewers, and fried calamari. The portions were extremely generous, and everything was delicious. Especially the cheese plate witch came with sliced sausage, delicious apple and pair, and a multiple of cheeses, that had to be artisanal. Amazing. The interior of the bar is beautiful, very comfortable lounge setting, and beautiful antique decor. Perfect setting for a date, or intimate hang with friends. As amazing as all that was, the best thing about this place is the service. Staff is incredibly friendly, and attentive, the owner is gener, and overall the welcome is incredible. Our server Ryanna was the best! This is my new favorite place for drinks in Bay Ridge. Do yourself a favor and visit Delia's. Place is a must! read more

Amazing food and the drink was definitely one to remember. Mango Margarita. The appetizers let me start by saying that the chicken dumplings with sweet Thai Chilli sauce, the bomb! Outstanding pub/lounge about the size of a one BR apartment, but more on the ambience later. Service is friendly and atmosphere is that of a local establishment, as they've been here since 1999. We had the terrific Pat Lafrieda sliders - listed as six for $24 with an accompanying plate of fries. When we got the bill our server listed it as $22, perhaps because we mentioned it was our first visit there. Additionally, we were given complimentary chocolate covered strawberries w/whipped cream, making us thankful we didn't eat the last dozen fries we had left on our plate. The atmosphere here definitely skews towards the older crowd here. The animal print couches give off a relaxed yet 1960s Playboy club type vibe. The music playing inside the place, at least during our first visit, was of the Sinatra, Elvis, Marvin Gaye genres. If you have to Google any of those three names to find out who they are, you'd probably be outkicking your coverage coming here. Let's be clear, this is not a demerit at all, but if your taste in music is more Beyonce, Taylor Swift, and Katy Perry, you wouldn't hear it here if that's a particular tipping point for you. read more

I really enjoyed my Aperol Spritz however I cannot give 5 stars because tables next to me on both sides were chain smoking cigarettes and cigars for my entire visit (even the waitress was smoking). I know that Covid regulations require outdoor seating but it's uncomfortable to breathe in just steps away from my table. I hope that a non-smoking order will be placed because I would very much like to come back to Delias and enjoy the vibe and food without obstructed breathing. read more

Delia's ambience is romantic, but the prices it charges for sub-par (think low end supermarket) quality food and bottom of the barrel wines are outrageous. The $12 hummus and toasted pita was particularly disappointing--although it was described as "family recipe," it did not seem homemade, nor was it up to par with Sabra. Charging $14 for a cheese platter consisting of a few pieces of cheddar and gouda with about four grapes and four apple slices amounted to highway robbery. read more

They have great options for vegetarians, we usually have the edamame and the hummus. The wait staff is always very friendly and helpful. Simple & Sweet: Delia's is a dimly lit lounge that has nice music and a chill crowd. Well decorated and lit up with candles on every table, comfy couches too. Had dessert & coffee. My friend and I shared the Chocolate Fondue for Two ($18) and it was worth the price. Also I was impressed with the taste of the cappuccinos ($5) and how pretty the presentation was. Awesome status lol. Server was super nice and came around to our table several times, as well as a manager to see if everything was good. Super romantic date spot! Brought here on a date it was really cozy and the waitress staff was very attentive always asking if we needed anything they were very kind. Nice cumfy clean couches. Candlelight and some really cute drinks like an alcoholic hot chocolate with homemade whip cream and chocolate covered strawberries with that awesome homemade whip cream(yummy)! Margaretta pizza with chicken was okay I am a huge pizza fanatic so i guess my expectations were too high and so was the fried calamari nothing special but definitely would go back for some amazing sweet drinks and dessert! I was here recently for a fashion show & can tell you they have some great chocolate covered strawberries as well as yummy chicken on their chicken skewers. Delia's is a great spot for a date or for a girls' night. It's dimly lit and the space is intimate, with fireplaces and comfortable couches everywhere. I've always gone there on a Friday or Saturday evening (around 8:00) and haven't had trouble getting a seat; sometimes there's an open couch available right away and sometimes I have to wait a few minutes. When there isn't any obvious seating available, the server is proactive in getting you situated, which is nice. Note: I've always come here with one other person; it would definitely be more difficult to get quick seating if you have a larger group of people. Also, I imagine it gets more crowded as it gets later, so I'll definitely keep this as an early evening spot. I haven't eaten here, just because I've usually eaten dinner right beforehand, but I've seen their menu and it looks like they have some decent plates. I won't comment too much with regards to this (like I said, I haven't personally tried any of their food), but I will say the menu seems to be more suitable for light eating rather than a full dinner. I can see it being ideal for sharing a few appetizers with whoever you're with. I can comment on the drinks and I will say this: you get your money's worth. My go-to drink here is the appletini and they make them STRONG. I've tasted a few of their other mixed drinks and they are strong as well. So, Delia's definitely doesn't screw you over with alcohol content. Finally, it's in a great location which makes it ideal as a starting point if you plan on being out all night; you can have a drink or two and then move on to a number of other bars that are located in the immediate area. I can see myself doing this if I start my night out with my boyfriend and then go out to meet with our friends later on. read more

Was over crowded people were not distancing and they were drinking at the packed bar inside which is not even legal. For being an older crowd we expected the opposite but the staff and patrons were unwelcoming. Remember when you were younger, and you would go over "that" friend's house, who had the really "cool" basement, because it had all mixed-matched furniture; possibly from an old, deceased relative? Well, that's basically what Delia's Lounge is like. I'm not totally sure why everyone gets so dressed up to come here, especially if you're planning on sitting on a leopard-patterned sofa. Seems a little strange to me. A group of friends and I came here after my birthday dinner to make the night linger a bit longer. I actually suggested coming here, since I heard from some friends that it's a good alternative to going to a bar. We were a party of four, and the host/owner, was trying to set up a table with a curtain canopy hanging over the space, with another party. We felt we were crashing a double date, so we opted for the bar stools right by the projector screen that was streaming a baseball game. 2 stars deduction: 1) PRICING & 2) lack of spacing between tables, couches and/or bar stools. You really feel crammed in here on a busy night, and you just don't get the AC circulating rather well when they leave the doors open to beckon new patrons. Delia's is just A-OK, by me - I might go back; might not. read more

So where do I start. I was not even greeted I was grunted at by a EXTREMELY rude male bartender only to find out when I asked for the manager it was him. The food was good not great it could have a much better selection more vegetarian friendly. As I sat at the bar I saw not 1 but roaches go by me when I brought it to the bartenders attention he said what would you like me to do? As a patron this is disgusting because I'm waiting for food. Maybe give me a free round or how about kill the bugs. I proceeded to move to a table and had a lovely waitress who couldn't apologize enough for his poor behavior. As I went to cash out I was called a bitch and told not to come back if I don't like how things are done at that bar. Well I won't and either will any of my friends. Trust me word will spread. He was even very nasty to staff. As someone in the industry keep your personal life at home and if you are having a bad day still show up with a smile. You lost many customers. Just to mention that this review is really about the space and not much on the food. I was fascinated by how each seating area had its way of keeping those secluded from the rest of the lounge. We sat in the corner near the entrance. We were hidden because the couch/seat was at least 4 feet high and was a wrap around so we had to stand up or peak around the seat in order for us to see the center of the lounge. It felt a bit exciting to be secluded and isolated. I also would want to comment and say the servers were very attentive and always had a smile on. They gave us complimentary strawberries and cream as we closed out our bill, which I thought was a nice gesture. It showed how much they appreciated us as a customer and our patronage. We order the rose and cheese plate. The glass was huge compared Manhattan standards and it was my first time trying a rose, which led to personal doubt as a man of fine wine palette. I had this preconceived notion of how a rose would taste like and it definitely squashed any doubts and reservations about rose. The cheese plate was below average to mediocre at best. If I had another go here, I would skip the cheese plate and just stuck with a nice glass of the rose and private conversation over candle light. read more

Super comfortable place for dates or to catch up with friends. I personally had a corner couch seat with tow of my old friends. We were catching up and spent 3 hours there on that comfortable spot. The food was pretty good--especially the pizza; Prosciutto with fresh basil. The lychee martini is very lychee like, and I also like their Chardonnay. The sofa seats are comfortable and the place is very dim which makes it a great ambiance for dates. I will definitely return there! read more

Very cool lounge vibe. The seating is sofas, all different kinds. The decorations are all over the place ranging from a big Mona Lisa picture to little Buddhas to stone figurines. Sidewalk is usually blocked by patrons of this establishment and crosswalk is blocked by a vehicle, which I'm assuming is of someone who is associated with this place. If the establishment is not practicing guidelines for public health and safety, they should strictly state that so people who are planning to give business to this location, such as takeout or delivery, will not be disappointed to know that picking up their order might not be a wise idea. read more
