I had to be the bearer of bad news that they no longer want to do business with me, but this is exactly what I mean. There is no organization. There is no communication. Just got off the phone with their front desk and my appointment was canceled for the third time and they try to reschedule me again after I've worked my whole schedule around this. And they tell me the doctor has a stomach bug and when I insinuated is there nobody else she laughed and said well we can get the doctor to come in and work on you if you really want them working on you sick while laughing. So at this point, I asked her what is the cancellation policy if I canceled today day of appointment and she said $100 so I'm hoping to get $100 credit on my account because that's not fair for them to be able to do this for the third time This office was great at one time but now all I hear are excuses and people not knowing what they are doing getting multiple phone calls in one day to change an appointment. Keep an appointment. I'm pretty sure the doctor went away and he just called out sick today. UPDATE: they discontinued service with me because I told the truth about their service. Seems as though they cannot deal with brutal honesty. Look they called me 3 times in one day to cancel and reschedule this appointment - for the same damn day the doctor ended up canceling day of - hours before the appointment. Again they use to be amazing - now they have a front office who is inconsistent and management that can't hold them accountable.

We got a phone call telling us that our dentist left and that a new dentist and hygienist will take over this location. I don't like getting my bi-yearly checkup but I do look forward to having a thorough cleaning nonetheless. From the second I met the hygienist, my guard was up. It's hard to explain but I just felt it. From the x-rays performed to the entire cleaning, it was sloppy, unprofessional and different from all the past cleanings I have had. I know this is really weird for me to say, but I smelled a dirty dish rag scent. I don't know if it was from the chair, room or the hygienist. I actually smelled it on her latex gloves that was probing inside my mouth. I had to hold my breath and breathe through my mouth the entire time. When my teeth cleaning was done, I waited for the dentist to come check my teeth. There was an unfriendly, rushed greeting. And gosh, this one smelled like moth balls. She kind of hurt me the way she was checking my teeth. Then I hear her throwing numbers at the hygienist to write down. And that was the end of it. I went to the receptionist and here is where they tried to scam me. Receptionist: We need to schedule you back for some fillings for your cavities. Me: Cavities? How many are we talking about? Receptionist: (she proceeds to count them) 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 Me: EIGHT????? You're telling me that I have 8 cavities???? Receptionist: Yes, that is what the dentist wrote on this form. Me: I was just here 6 months ago with NO CAVITIES. Receptionist: You can talk to the dentist. Me: No thank you, I will get a second opinion. I don't know what kind of dental office you guys are running here. (I stormed out). If I have 8 cavities, you would think at least 1-2 would cause me some pain. I have not had a cavity in over a decade. Only fillings to redo an old filling but that's it. I'm one that brushes 4-5x a day and flosses. When a patient needs further work on their teeth, there is always a discussion on which tooth it is, how extensive it is, what needs to be done and an x-ray is shown. None of this was done to confirm that I have 8 cavities. Replaying the whole incident in my head now, I realize that two patients ahead of us looked upset as they left the dental office when the receptionist said they needed fillings. My son later told me that he felt uncomfortable and that the vibe was off. SUSSY, a Gen-Z term meaning...suspicious as hell.

I scheduled a straightforward, out-of-pocket cleaning because I was preparing to leave the country and wanted to take care of it beforehand. I was very clear over the phone that I did NOT want a full exam or additional services. This is not unusual for me. I typically get my teeth cleaned 3-4 times per year--twice through insurance and additional cleanings out-of-pocket. Jill and Olivia at this office have both handled these arrangements with me in the past without any issue. In this case, the office confirmed they would reach out if anything came up. Olivia later called and confirmed the appointment date, time, and the price--$150 for a cleaning only, no exam, no dentist required. At no point was there any indication that this arrangement would not be honored. When I arrived, the hygienist refused to perform the cleaning, suddenly claiming I needed to see the dentist first--something that was never communicated at any point prior. The office manager then came out, followed by the dentist. I explained that I've had this exact type of cleaning done at this office multiple times in the past without being required to go through an exam. The dentist's response was that it had been "allowed" previously, which only highlights how inconsistent their own policies are. What makes this worse is that I have in fact been seen within the past year--specifically in March 2025, June, and September. Despite that, the dentist claimed I had not been seen in over a year. At no point did anyone take the time to properly review or verify my records before refusing service. So as an established patient, I was turned away for a basic cleaning that was clearly scheduled, confirmed, and priced in advance--based on information that appears to be incorrect and without any effort to resolve it. What's most concerning is the lack of consistency and professionalism. I received one set of clear instructions and confirmations over the phone, only to be told something completely different once I arrived. Over time, visits here have also felt increasingly transactional. Appointments often include repeated recommendations for additional products or services--whether requested or not--which creates the impression that the focus is more on selling than on providing straightforward care. In this case, instead of receiving a simple cleaning before an international trip, I was denied service altogether with no attempt to find a solution or offer any reasonable path forward. This entire situation could have been avoided with basic communication and a simple review of records. I left without being treated and will be finding a new dentist. I would not recommend this office to anyone expecting clear communication, consistency, or a genuinely patient-focused experience.
