Sitting in the dentist chair gives me a lot of anxiety, but since becoming a patient at Horsham Dental Care, my experience has been completely different. Over the past year I've worked with several hygienists and technicians, and I recently needed to have three dental crowns, which was more dental work than I've ever had in my life. My anxiety was definitely elevated going into it, but the team made the entire experience much easier than I expected. From the moment you walk in, the entire staff -- reception, hygienists, technicians, and dentists -- are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Just as importantly, they are absolute experts at what they do. They take the time to make sure you are comfortable and are very skilled at minimizing discomfort, which makes a huge difference for someone like me who has dental anxiety. After the initial crown work I did have a temporary crown come off and my tooth was exposed. The office got me in quickly and replaced it right away, which was extremely important. The dentist made sure the new temporary was secure so I could eat normally and comfortably until the permanent crown was ready. That level of responsiveness meant a lot to me. I'm also very impressed with the advanced technology and imaging they use. The scans allow you to instantly see what's going on with your teeth, which removes the guesswork and helps you make informed decisions about your care. One other thing that has really stood out to me is their focus on patient education. I was never very good at flossing -- honestly, I think it's because I was never properly shown how important it was or how to do it effectively. Because of the education and encouragement I received at Horsham Dental Care, I now floss consistently twice a day. The results have been amazing. When I went for my second cleaning, it was obvious to the hygienist that I had been flossing, and my cleaning was noticeably easier and much less uncomfortable. Go figure... it only took 57 years to finally get it right! If you are looking for a dentist in the Horsham area, especially if you are someone who gets nervous about dental work, I highly recommend Horsham Dental Care. I had a cleaning done by excellent hygienist. She was apologetic for having to work so hard on my teeth but honestly no one had done such a thorough job before. I had my prior X-rays sent over and they were able to upload it without issue. Dr Paola was nice and professional. I was able to qualify for their smile program for free teeth whitening. Came back to get trays custom fit and overall had excellent experience. Billing just as I expected. Will definitely return here again.

I had to reschedule my first appointment for treatment to begin, one excuse she used was that their computer was hacked or something and they couldn't submit the determination but I told her if that was the case why didn't you just send it regular mail then? Next the dentist came in, she did a quick look in my mouth and said oh no this needs to be taken out, talking about my tooth that chipped. She said we will do a cleaning and also pull the tooth out. To my surprise the cleaning wasn't painful. She didn't dig in my mouth to where I was sinking in pain or clawing the seats. She took her time and was gentle. When it came to the extraction. She put numbing gel in my mouth first then brought out the needle. I honestly was happy she just didn't stick the needle in, cause although there was still pain, without the numbing gel it would've been way worse. After that the assistant took my blood pressure which I've never seen any dentist do. My pressure was high, but probably cause I just had the needle and I pressure went through the roof. She gave me some time to sit and relax, and let the numbing stuff do it's job, and the assistant came back to take my pressure again. It went back to normal. It was time for the extraction to happen. I was nervous, and asked the dentist if the numbing stuff would still work and she said yes- guess I was paranoid. The extraction part was surprisingly not too painful either, just felt a little pulling and that's it. I was so happy that it was quick and somewhat painless. The dentist said you're all done, see you in 6 months. And I'm surprised to say, I will attend that appointment. I think I found my dentist!

I was shocked, especially since I had several filled at another dental office a little over six months prior. I asked for clarity on the cavities and to see where they were in pictures and x rays. Was shown a couple of pictures and was told they were cavities. Then she flashed one X-ray on the screen to show another. Almost no explanation. Then she just left. I was shocked. Ended up going to another dentist for a second opinion and told I only have three cavities. Needless to say they were also shocked I was told I had eight.
