Friends have been telling me about this place who are from Costa Rica, I'm just never in Bound…read moreBrook. Today was the day however! The restaurant was laid out with tables to the right & left, a coffee/juice bar and a bakery section in the back. Since my Spanish is nil, I believe who was one of the owners helped us choose our meal. Peruvian Beef Stir fry with rice and fries & Pueblo Style fillet of fish (tilapia) I had plantains & black beans as sides. Both were portions for two people & absolutely delicious. I had a tamarind drink and my friend had a Batido Mango (made with milk) The staff were all sweet and helpful. We got to-go bags. The prices were very reasonable for what we got. After we paid the check we were given caramelo flan ~ we said we would never finish it - well we did! Pretty much licked the plate. Can't wait to go back! And since I watch Celtic, premier, euro soccer, have found a new place that opens early! Soccer was playing on the screens while there! Another plus. Definitely check this place out, they have traditional Costa Rican, Peruvian and Salvadoran dishes - just to name a few!!!

Not to mention it was all drenched in onion juice and hot sauce. I used to like the food here. Will not be buying anymore. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE.

My pupusas filled with cheese beans and loroco were very filling and the calabacita platter was the same. I definitely preferred the taste of the pupusas as the calabacita needed a strong sauce for taste so I ended up using the red and green salsas from the pupusas. However, even though I marked for utensils the restaurant did not provide me any. I don't know if that was a glitch in communications between Uber Eats and the restaurant, but it made it a pain to go hunting for plastic silverware at a quiet hotel.

I will still order it again though to give it another try as with other interesting items on the menu.

Had my order been delivered before it was cold, the review would likely be a star higher. But, when…read moreyou receive your delivery order over an hour late, food starts to get soggy in the styrofoam containers that the restaurant packs them into. I ordered two entrees. The first selection from the menu, Tacos del Pastor, al pastor tacos, topped with cilantro onions, a side of hot sauce, a lime, and cucumber for each. The tacos shells were homemade, and the al pastor had plenty of flavor. Three tacos come to an order, with two shells supporting each taco, and they're reasonably priced. The second entree, Fajitas Mix, is served with flour or corn tortillas on the side, with a mixture of chicken, beef and shrimp over a generous portion of rice, with a small portion of bean and a soggy mixture of lettuce, a sad attempt at coleslaw instead of what's listed on the menu as pico de gallo. The fajitas are cooked the traditional way, with peppers and onions. The ingredients are quality, with authentic Mexican flavors. A side of hot sauce, which you need to specify the heat, as is the case for tacos, is included. The entree is very reasonably priced. If I was ensured an on-time delivery, and the restaurant made an attempt to offset my inexcusably late first delivery, I'd likely order again. The corn tortillas were said to be gluten-free, from a call I made, prior to ordering, which offers an added bonus to include customers with allergies or insensitivity to gluten.
