I have gone to this truck quite a few times in the summer last year and all of my experiences have been great. The design of their food truck is pretty cool and very noticeable (especially with the bright blue). It's got a funky but clean look and a mascot that is playful but not too childish. Every time I catch a glimpse of a bright blue truck parked on the street curb my stomach grumbles with excitement knowing that it might be the large vehicle that carries delicious food that I desire. I'm always surprised that there is never a long lineup, especially since I've heard so many great things about their food. I have never had to wait long at this truck. The service is great, the staff members are always friendly & jovial. I've ordered the calamari pita & chicken gyro (on separate occasions!). They are both VERY LARGE in size and jam packed with savoury goodness so you definitely get your moneys worth...just try not to drop the fillings on the floor while you are eating it! I prefer the calamari pita to the chicken gyro but that is because I am a huge seafood lover. This pita consists of my two favourite appetizers all wrapped up in a deep fried present for my stomach and taste buds: calamari & french fries! (Yes, there are french fries in this wrap.) The calamari rings are breaded and fried to a crispy perfection. The calamari itself was not too chewy or rubbery however the size of the rings makes it awkward to eat it in a wrap. It's definitely a sit down meal not something you can chow down while walking back to your office. The sauce is not the traditional tzatziki sauce that I've had at some typical Mr Greek chain restaurants. It's not as tangy or overly garlicky but it's definitely sweeter. It is still very tasty and a good complement to the salty fried calamari and French fries. The pita itself is quite palatable. I find some flour pitas I've had give off a bitter after taste but this one did not and it appeared as though they were slightly seasoned with a reasonable amount of garlic butter. Note: This pita should be eaten right away; if you hold off the fries will get soggy and will not be as appetizing as a fresh wrap. The chicken gyros was pretty good too. It consisted of french fries, shredded BBQ chicken and some veggie fixings. The chicken was juicy and very well seasoned. The sauce and pita were similar to the calamari pita. A delicious meal but I prefer seafood any day. Overall, 4 stars. The food was delicious and the service was great. I would say the prices are on the same range as other "gourmet" food trucks in Toronto but the portion sizes are substantially larger than what other food trucks are dishing out. I would like to try other things on their menu such as their poutine however every time I have gone to this truck the menu has been very limited. Hope I have better luck this summer!

I had the jumbo jerk spring rolls with chipotle mayo sauce. Each roll was filled with spicy, well seasoned, succulent pulled jerk chicken. Yummy..and just as tasty as it sounds. The spring roll was light and crispy. I also tried the OMG chicken sandwich..yess!! Honey fried chicken served with sliced pickles, cabbage slaw, and lettuce and tomato. My tasting of the chicken burger was followed by the famous mercy burger. This burger is way too good to have come from a food truck. It was absolutely juicy and flavorful! Both sandwiches came with thick cut fries known as hulk fries, which were fried to perfection. Our food was ready within 5 mins and served with a smile. I'll be back to try their deep fried Nutella cheesecake!! P.S. They accept most credit cards.

The Calamansi iced tea didn't taste too different from regular to me. I'm not really an iced tea fan normally, and this didn't change my mind, but it did its trick to quench my thirst. I appreciate that it's a cool drink without ice. I hate it when other places pack their drinks with so much ice, diluting the drink. The Turon is unique and definitely worth a try. Oddly, I liked it better when we brought the leftover home when it was cold. The syrup that was drizzled on top of the banana spring roll hardened, leaving a crispy outer shell even hours after. Strange was that it was served with kimchi, corn and some green drizzled on top was spicy mayo sauce. So I felt like it had a bit of Japanese, Jamican and a bit of Korean.
