I'm always on the search for good shawarma and always down to try new places. Got some takeout here on a whim as we were driving by. Service was fine, nothing exciting but nothing bad. Food: Chicken shawarma was decently moist though I feel like it lacked a bit of flavor. The dill rice is nice though again seemed less flavorful than other dill rice dishes I've had. The salad was fresh and the garlic sauce and hot sauce were awesome. Falafel plate - the falafel were pretty good. Nice crisp outside and decently moist and soft on the inside. Great flavor. Same comments for the rice and salad and sauces as above. Price: The plates are HUGE! Easily fed 3 people for 25$ which is a great deal. More of a 3.5 I happened to be in the area and was looking for a quick lunch spot nearby. While waiting to order, the owner brought out some potato wedges dipped in their signature garlic sauce and gave one to each of us in line ( great marketing at it's finest ) and it was DELICIOUS. It really tempted me into almost getting a combo. I got the Chicken Shawarma and it was so tasty! Pretty great value for money too ( $6 ) Service was so friendly and welcoming. You can really feel the hospitality when you walk in here. The main reason, I can't give it a 4 star rating is because, although the shawarma was tasty, it kinda lacked the fullness you'd hope for. The meat itself was good - flavourful and still moist, but I wish they had some more filling options, like pickles instead of cucumbers and maybe a Lebanese Cabbage Salad instead of a dry coleslaw mix. Having said that, their falafels ARE bigger and therefore take a bit longer to cook. There was this interesting moment where a woman came in to speak to the two staff on shift; one guy was in the middle of taking the meat from the rack to the sandwich and he paused to listen to her while the meat was dangling from his scoop. Always good to listen to someone talking to you, but if that person cut through three people waiting for their food and you've been making it. Another random moment? One of the sauce bottles took a few whacks and shakes to pump out the goods. Both staff took a crack at pumping it out. They got some of it to go onto the sandwich, but it was just odd watching them shake it in a restaurant with a solid lineup of hungry patrons, like I used to shake ketchup in my kitchen when I was 10. Felt like having shawarmas one evening for dinner so decided to pick some up from this place my friends had recommended. Tried the Chicken Shawarma with the works. Costed $5.87. Single shawarma is enough for one. Stuffing included chicken pieces, lettuce, radishes, pickles and cucumbers slices with a little hot sauce to spice it up. The owners hospitality is beyond amazing. Always cheerful and happy and greets you warmly with a smile when you enter. While the decor is not the most modern or up to date, it is very homey and authentic. There are a few tables inside and outdoor patio seating if you decide to stay, but take out seems to be the way to go. Open late which is perfect for those late night munchies and very easy to locate with plenty of parking in the plaza. Pricing is on par if not more fair compared to other shawarma places in the area, and the portion size and flavours are totally worth the price. What's more is that you can tell the owner takes pride in his food and puts a lot of passion into each sandwich or platter. It's in the name of the establishment!! Simply delicious. I'm honestly surprised this place isn't rated at least 4 stars! The location is in the plaza on the corner of Birchmount and Finch and has a fair amount of parking spots. The employees working there are there everyday, and are super friendly and generous. The guy that was helping me was pretty funny as he was joking with me the entire time. He also blessed me with extra chicken and gave me some pita chips to snack on while I waited on the food. I definitely recommend the chicken shawarma plate. It comes with rice that's mixed with some dill, fresh array of veggies, their garlic sauce, hummus and the chicken. I probably come here 2-3 times a week, solid shawarma meat if you go well before closing time, I usually go for the shawarma plate and that's more than enough food for me but their fries are almost a must as they use Costco-Style fries and paired their garlic sauce, it's almost a perfect match. The garlic sauce they use is like crack. I've experienced almost nothing but nice and excellent service except for one individual who was very rude the entire time and didn't see like he cared much about anything but finishing his shift. There was a side of salad, the broth, and the main dish with a huge piece of Lamb and rice packed individually. The main attraction of the dish was Lamb and it was perfectly cooked. The shawarma wrap was set at a decent price with good filling but a disappointing pita wrap. It was too thin and fell apart easily while tasting stale. Wished I came to this place earlier. I've always passed this place as it's really close to where I live and finally decided to try it out for dinner. I got 3 plates; kabob, chicken tikka and a chicken shawarma plate. Everything was delicious. Although they are understaffed and waiting times are long during busy hours, the staff and managers are super friendly and understanding. I waited about 30-40 minutes for the food because it was so busy our orders got handed out to other customers that came after us by accident. However, the staff realized this and went out of their way and gave us free potato wedges even though we never complained or asked for them, and they were so good I wish they sold them on the menu. Another thing is that they should add more shawarma meat as the meat to rice ratio is off, almost ¼ of the rice is covered by veggies rather than meat. I also wish they still have their lunch specials as I would definitely go multiple times a week. But the prices are really fair and they don't overcharge like some other places. Ordered the lunch special. 2 chicken Shawarmas for one low price. The sandwich was assembled with style and grace. I asked the owner about the soup and he brought me a nice abundant sample. I spat out right away and called the restaurant. when I called, the worker or the owner answered the phone call. I complained about the chicken not cooked, he said that's the chicken fat. First of all why the hell they put uncooked chicken fat, I know the fact that it's not only the chicken fat, it was the chicken wasn't cooked either. I would've got sick if I ate it. Yo.. I love shawarma. But you guys didn't give me hummus or tahini on my chicken platter. It's worse because this was during my late night binge eating phase where I was craving good shawarma off uber eats, and you guys just didn't put out. Heavily disappointed by my eating experience. Stopped by here after work on the way home one evening, this is one of the few shawarma shops in the area but being the only option definitely did not decrease the quality. The shawarma wrap was was pretty dope to say the least. Not only that it was also decently priced for the size and a bit spicy which I liked. Only downsides are that the shop itself was a bit dirty and they didn't have a bathroom for customer use but if you're getting take out and are in the area I highly recommend this place. read more

Only been open since spring 2015. Went there with the intention of a burger, ended up with a poutine and shawarma plate. Both were very good. Service was very nice and the food was tasty.
