Disappointing. Booked an appointment time and it was not respected, they had me waiting 10 minutes past my appointment time. I've never had to wait for any professional massage I've booked. I respected their time and arrived 5 mins early and they disrespected my time by making me wait 15 mins! As others have mentioned it appears to be that the massage therapists also run the front desk because they were in and out from the massage area to desk area a number of times whiled I waited. Which means they'd be doing that during my massage too, no thanks! Then she asked for payment before the massage was given!! This has never happened in my experience of professional massage!! The last straw was seeing a sign on the wall that states a minimum of 25% tip is required....like what!? Again, have never experienced that in my life. I should have taken a picture of the sign. I asked her to confirm, and she says i have to pay for the massage before it's given but can tip after and says yes it's 25 percent tip required. I told her I'd just pass and left super disappointed. I felt uncomfortable and annoyed by the whole experience. Then, as I'm sitting in my after leaving, they text me as though someone who leaves would actually want to come back. Sorry you only get one chance to make me a new customer and impress me with quality service. I just got the vibe they care more about money than their customers experience and satisfaction. I schedule a couples massage through Yelp messages for a week and a half out. My husband and I show up to our appointment and the staff working had zero idea what we were walking about. They ask us to take a seat and we waited about ten minutes before we were asked to pay upfront for the massage. I said that we'd be paying afterwards. Then they wanted us to go behind a curtain in the lobby. The building was extremely cold and it's awkward to get a massage behind a curtain in the lobby. Today Susan the owner blessed me with an excellent experience. She asked me to show her the areas on a chart of the human body where I felt work was needed before we started. I visited this little spot on Saturday the 18th for a mothers day special. I cant remember the name of the lady that massaged me but she had short hair and was oriental. First off let me say this whole expierience was absolutely terrible. I paid for an 80 minute massage and the first 30 min was legs and feet and the end of the first session she pick my legs up and dropped them on the floor. Moving on to the second session my back and neck we went to a seperate room I stipped down and covered with a towel. The lady came in and uncovered me and pulled my panties below my buttox and proceeded to massage the top half of my back using her elbows the whole time after I had asked her to go lighter.. She then climbed on top of the table and straddled my from behind and massaged my back while my panties were still pulled down using an intolerable force after several attempts to ask to go lighter. I was tense and in pain the whole time and ended up with an extreme headache. At the end of my massage she bent my arms behind my back to the point were my elbows touched even though there was resistance. Evidently, if you book a massage before 1pm, you can get it at a reduced rate. Or if you're a first time customer you can get a discount. Prices are affordable. The place is in a nice location on Stockdale Hwy, next to Too Fat sandwiches. I got a hour massage and boy was it amazing!! I left feeling so relaxed. The lady who did my massage was very experienced and did a great job loosening my tight muscles and knots. I'm coming back weekly. Massage is very therapeutic. It helps clear our mind, it's good for the soul, it's great to loosen tight muscles if you workout like I do, and it helps to get rid of toxins locked in the body. I usually mediate while getting my massage and do positive affirmations. They play soft music while you get your massage and the rooms are nice and cool. I was given a 60 min deep tissue massage from Groupon from my sweetheart as a gift which they honored with no problems. Service was outstanding. I called the day before to setup an appointment so I was taken back right away and the massage began right away and lasted the full 60mins. However I was asked to tip before I had even started my massage which was a turn off. I prefer to judge my service before determining whether I leave a tipe or not. However after Angela who was my masseuse started my massage, I knew right away that it wasn't going to be an issue not to leave a tip. She was fantastic and had just the right amount of pressure I needed to work out some discomfort in my neck and shoulders that I had been having which I asked them to focus on and she did which is much appreciated. Angela always made sure I was comfortable with the pressure and asked if the area was okay before moving on to another area which I really enjoyed. Today was my third visit to Delight Massage and I will definitely be back! Everyone is very nice and professional. The first time I went I was amazed at how quiet it was in there and every time I go it is the same even when there are others receiving massages at the same time. I have not had to wait for a massage as I call ahead and they are ready for me when I get there. The last two times I had Angela for a deep tissue full body massage to help with lower back pain. She is great and I will continue to call and request her for my visits. Be sure to tell the front desk where you have pain and what you would like them to work on if you have an area you'd like your massage to focus on. I also like to add the hot rocks option to my massage. Angela checks on you throughout the massage to ensure that the amount of pressure she uses and the heat from the rocks isn't too much. I have gone to Cindy a total of five times now. I have a lot of chronic pain so I went to her once (around February) when I was in severe pain in my neck, shoulders, and jaw. She helped so much that I went back two days later to find that same relief. It was even more helpful because she had worked on me so recently. Then about two weeks ago, I was having another bad episode of extreme pain so bad that I couldn't sleep. That time the pain was mostly in my lower back, and the space in between my spine and shoulder blades. I went to her on a Wednesday and felt so much better (and could finally sleep) that I went back to her on Friday and she really went above and beyond. I explained to her which areas were hurting and she knew exactly what to do. I genuinely cannot say enough about how thoughtful, knowledgeable, and intuitive she is. She finds the deepest knots without me even having to point them out to her. She is extremely patient when I need her to be more gentle on certain areas that are in pain. She is very communicative, checking in often to ask if things are comfortable and if I am okay. She also explains what she's doing when it's more intense pressure. I am so, so grateful that I found Cindy and that she is often available for same day appointments. read more

My husband was having some stress in his lower back, so we were looking for somewhere we can have a COUPLES massage together. I called to set up the appointment, and they were able to schedule us same day at 6:00 pm. When we arrived, they asked if we can wait about 15 minutes, we had no choice, we were already there. They made us pay PRIOR to getting the massages, and requested a tip for a service that had not yet been completed! She finally calls us back, and places us in separate rooms, after we had told her we wanted same room couples massage. If this is NOT a service you offer, let people know up front. So we go into our separate rooms at this point, strip down to only our underwear, and they are RUSHING! You can hear one of the ladies calling people to push back their time, it wasn't even busy, their time management just wasn't there. My entire massage was PAINFUL. I let her know that it was hurting, and she still continued to apply the same pressure. You can tell that they were in a rush with the massage because you could feel it, and it was so careless, not relaxing at all. We paid for a 30 minute torture, I'm glad we picked the 30 minute session and not the hour. My husband walked out of there in more pain than what he was in, plus an added pain from the massage. I walked out of there almost in tears from the pain she left on my shoulder, it's been 2 days now, and it feels as if it was internally bruised, and sensitive to the touch. This is just our experience. They were not rude at all, however, it was just not the service we had asked for, and unfortunately we walked away in a lot of pain, so based on our personal experience, we will not be returning. read more

I have had rotator cuff repair surgery on both shoulders, as well as lower back surgery. I am often in some level of pain with discomfort. I began massage after completing yoga based physical therapy a couple years ago. Today, I drove through the parking lot of this small mall and spotted this massage place that had opened where one I had visited a few times before had existed. I walked in, immediately noticed how clean the facility is, soft music playing, was greeted by a friendly young lady who scheduled me to an hour-long session per my request, and at a $40.00 rate. I thought, wow! The attending masseuse greeted me with courtesy and a smile, while escorting me to a private room. The session began with work on my shoulders as I expressed that I been rear-ended in a vehicle accident several days before. She noticed the tightness and worked the areas good. She worked the lower back, legs, and feet equally as well. I left feeling relaxed. I am happy with the professionalism, courtesy shown, and massage results.
