Came by for their Monday evening show. This location is near The Strip. The show is in the Pegasus Room and consisted of a host/comedian and two additional comedians. The crowd was light but this was a nonholiday Monday and, apparently, was opened recently. The star of the show was Don. He had interesting takes on current events and relationship dynamics and the delivery of his material was spot on. Beverage service was excellent. Venue is standard for comedy shows but the chair/seats were very comfortable. So nice to go to a venue without crazy or costly parking. Definitely worth supporting so I bought a shirt. read more

Got tickets to see hypnomania comedy hypnosis show. Parking was very convenient and we had no issues finding a spot. Venue is intimate, and seats were super comfortable. The show however was not hypnomania, but was just a stand up comedy show. Not mad at all though as it was soooo funny and they had us laughing the whole time. Kathleen Dunbar was incredible, and her opening act was great too. Just can't remember his name. We ordered drinks at the bar, and was rubbed the wrong way a little when we were charged 18% gratuity for 4 basic cocktails. Was told this was because of our "large order". I had the chance to catch the show on a recent Tuesday evening. Tickets are very reasonably priced, surprisingly the drinks are as well. The evening started with the emcee Keith Lyle who warmed up the crowd. His delivery was spot on, he really engaged with the crowd and got everyone in a great mood for the following comedians. The next two acts were ok. Their material and delivery were generally funny . My only problem was with one comedian whose act was built around "fat" jokes. While self deprecating humor can be funny, it is also an area that has been mined by many prior comedians. A lot of the jokes seemed familiar from previous experience. The headlining act was Don Barnhart. His act was definitely well thought out and polished. I was pretty much laughing through the whole 30 plus minutes of his set. He was very interactive with the customers in the club, funny without being mean spirited. Also he went out of his way to salute veterans that were in attendance. Sometimes this can come across as forced and insincere, in his case you can tell he has an obvious respect for the sacrifices that people have made. Overall I would go back in a heartbeat. It is rare in Vegas that you can find a venue where you can laugh for an hour and have a drink or two all for less than you will probably slide into a slot machine. read more

Definately a MUST SEE show while in Vegas. We saw the show during CES week ( horrible time to visit vegas for shows because many are cancelled). Not knowing this we arrived to purchase tickets for another show...which was cancelled. Fortunately for us Jokesters doesn't cancel and had a show that night. With only 16 of us in the audiance every comedian put on a show like the whole venue was filled. They were all funny, and very interactive. The price was very reasonable for this type of venue. Long pours from Eddie, phenomially pleasant and knowledgeable ticket gals, and a great line up. Definately will be returning. read more

I hate to write a bad review for an amateur comedy club like Jokesters because I know the comedians who work here are struggling and hard-working like the rest of us ordinary working-class shmucks, but that's exactly why I can't stomach being charged $40 per ticket for what turned out to be a rather boring show. My friend and I were in Vegas on a budget and could not afford $200+ for a show on the main strip, so we took a gamble with Jokesters...and lost. We sat through three amateur comedians without laughing once. The bald guy at the end (the one who wrote a book) was actually pretty funny, in a bitter, cynical kind of way, which I actually enjoyed but clearly nobody else in the audience did. I wouldn't have minded the dull experience if the ticket was only $20, but adding insult to injury we were inexplicably charged an extra $10 ON TOP OF the $30 ticket price for reasons that the guy at the register did not divulge. And no, this did not include a free drink. I think it was a slow night (it was a Tuesday) and they were conning us just for kicks. Anyway, I'm all for supporting amateur comedians and independent productions, but Jokesters just isn't funny enough to be charging more than $20. Sorry; I guess that makes me the A-hole! read more

It was a very strange night! I'm not sure if it was because it was a Monday or just slow, but there were only 12 people in the audience. That couldn't have been easy for the comics, but they did a great job. Despite the small crowd, they made it feel like a party. With a small crowd, they did pick on every single person in the club. But it was never mean spirited and they were respectful. I'm writing this because of the incident. In the front row were two women, a lesbian couple from San Francisco. They didn't laugh at one joke, and sat with their arms crossed. When the comic called them out on it, they got offended and left. Or so we thought. They sat at the back row, and he continued to talk about them. They swore at him and left. They said "we were told we wouldn't be heckled if we sat in the front". Trust me, that wasn't heckling. They were just humorless women that had no business being at a comedy show. They got a refund, and we enjoyed the show without them. The comedians are great, some better than others of course, but a nice mix of experienced guys polishing new acts and new guys grinding their teeth while they learn the ropes. Alcohol is reasonably priced, especially compared to the rest of Vegas, and this last time we went they had a server on staff so you didn't even have to lose your seat. read more

The headliner Don Barhart was great and we loved Penny Wiggins and her Wizard of oz routine... we kept doing it all night... so much fun! Nice room with booths in the back up a little high so you can see over the people and the bartender is pretty fast. Wow...Top Notch comedy act now performing at The D. Don Barnhart and Derek Richards had us roaring. We heard that George Clinton was in the house the night before. Definitely one of the best values in LV. Small venue, so you will be right on top of the stage regardless of seats. Don slayed the crowd as usual and Derek Richards was on his 'A' game as well. You cannot go wrong here, check this out! Much more affordable than inferior clubs on the strip. I am a 'D' fan in general and also would highly recommend grabbing dinner at Andiamo's or at least grabbing a Coney or three before or after the show! read more

This show has only been open 6 weeks but it was awesome!! They do have changing comedians every few weeks. The show we saw was hilarious from the first comedian to the last one!! Its in a showroom on the second floor and its very nice and comfortable seats. The cocktail waitress to the showroom people are very nice. I believe this is open 7 days a week @ 9:30pm Its a must see if you want to laugh your butt off!! We will back!! read more

The comedy was meh. First 2 guys were boring. Last guy was actually funny but there were only 12 people in the audience, so it was awkward. Maybe trying to find a good comedy club in the middle of the week in February is a losing battle. Hopefully it is better on weekends when there is a better crowd. This is the only comedy club downtown. We saw Traci Skene and Derek Richards here a couple of weeks ago. They were both very funny. Derek Richards is a regular headliner there and is one of the best comedians in town. Suggestion if club management reads this: Drink prices were reasonable but the service needs improvement. The waitress only came around before the show. Once it started, that was it. She just stood at the service bar. We were in front row of opposite site so walking across wasn't really an option. We just saw a comedy show and it was so funny! Had us in tears! Pretty sure the headliner's name was Derek, but I didn't catch his last name when he was saying it at the end. Since this is a new comedy club my only advice would be to advertise more for the comedian. I didn't notice his name anywhere, not on the tickets, flyers or anywhere in the club. Not sure if they advertise anywhere else but if so I missed it! We will be back for sure!! read more
