We saw the Julio Comedy Variety show and had a great time! The show was very entertaining, included a lot of audience interaction, and had everyone laughing the whole time. I especially loved the balloon swallowing trick during the second act. That one had my group thinking about it for a long time. You can get beers in here for $10 or mixed drinks (wells) for $12, or if you buy a bucket of beers they will cut you a deal. You can also buy an all you can drink package for $30 but for me I can't drink that many drinks in a show that is barely over an hour so I didn't do that. I did enjoy my Vodka Orange drink though. The venue is nice and the vibe is very chill. The workers were all super friendly. Picking up the tickets from the box office was easy and the whole experience was great. First time was 2019 and there was a comedian from Watts California and he was so funny!! I was with family. This time I went with a group of friends. We did the all you can drink. Not bad for only $30 you can get at least 3 drinks throughout the show. The server and bartender were nice. It was the servers bday! The comedians were a great time!!. I have been here several times. Love the new venue as well. Never have seen a bad lineup. Great all you can drink deal for $30 or after the show then have $7 drinks available. Which is a great deal on the strip. Drinks are reasonable priced as well. Comfortable seating. If you arrive early there is a lounge area to have some drinks. We brought our family who were visiting from San Diego for some laughs after dinner. And it was the best idea, we had such a good time the line up was great but Butch Bradley was fantastic!! He had us crying, its was non stop laughs until the end of the show. A few of us got the all you can drink for $30 which was a great deal. They had about three drinks, so it was worth it. Also Justin the bartender was great, really good energy when we came in really set the tone for what a good time we were about to have. The whole staff was great, and very friendly. Overall great experience 10/10 would recommend stopping in for some laughs. I'll definitely be coming back with my dad soon. And it'll be on the top of the list when friends and family come to visit. This was our first and likely last time to this comedy club. The first two comedians were just okay with the same joke told repeatedly in different ways but did a decent job with it. The third comedian spent his entire act just going from couple to couple asking various questions and making half jokes about how unhappy they looked or various married jokes. The series' opening night was nothing less than Stellar. The club is spacious and has that Unmistakable Las Vegas Nostalgic Vibe. Seasoned Comic's STEVEN COHEN, DEREK LUNA, VAL WERNER and HANNIBAL CALLENS introduced the competing comics with jokes and segues that had the crowd in stitches. JEREMY DANLEY closed out the show with a high energy laugh-a-minute set that won't be forgotten. Now; today was a special day for us. Our 22 year old daughter was sad because she quit her job selling cars as she felt sad defeated because she had not sold a lot of Hyundai's over the last three months. Little did she know that her diploma had been FEDEX'd to our house...She was awarded a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with an Emphasis in Military Resiliency from Liberty University! I spoke to the bartender, who spoke to the show's Executive Administrative Assistant and the President and CEO of "The World Series of Comedy", Joe Lowers, presented our daughter Briana with her diploma on stage in front of a live audience! It literally warmed everyone's heart that a Famous Comedian reached out to cheer up someone he didn't even know during his busy show. We came in a Sunday for a 10pm show and got to see Butch Bradley. He's a very good act and was pretty interactive with the crowd. Friday date night with hubby. Strat now charges $20 for parking, but ours was free due to being local. The gate sensor recognizes Nevada plates and lifts automatically. One bartender and one cocktail server took care of the audience. We ordered two drinks, $20 including tip and had good seats mid third row in the small theater. The comedians were funny but pretty vulgar for a 6PM show. Julio Gonzalez was my favorite because he talked about relationships and it hit home for quite a few couples. So we were staying at the STRAT and wanted to do something besides gamble and we started looking at what was playing at our hotel. We decided to check out the L.A. Comedy club. We were both glad we did. The whole experience was fun from the time we got there till the end of the show. We opted for the 6pm show. From the time we got there the bartender was great to the host and the three comedians. It is a small theatre so if you don't like being part of the show don't sit up front. We didn't mind so we sat right up front stage right. The service from the bartender to the cocktail servers was great. I would highly recommend catching a show here especially if you are staying at the Strat or nearby. Money well spent. read more

There's no minimum drink requirement here! I'm used to other comedy clubs forcing a two drink minimum, so I appreciate the freedom to come here and JUST enjoy comedy without drinking. If you do want to drink though, they have a full bar with $25 for all-you-can-drink. The servers are SUPER on top of this, even throughout the show, regularly clearing out empty cups and getting you new drinks. My family and I came here for their Happy Hour Variety Show with Chris Waldeck, Amir the Amiracle, and Julio Gonzalez headlining. I never heard of them before since my mom just booked the tickets so we could enjoy a comedy show together, but EVERYONE was fun and entertaining. I feel confident in the comedians they curate here and would TOTALLY see more shows whenever I'm in the area to visit my parents. Seating is first-come, first-served. Arrive earlier if you want seats closer to the front of the stage. That gives you more time to enjoy their $25 all-you-can-drink special as well. Some parents brought their kids here, including a dad and his 15-year-old daughter and another family with two sons who looked to be 8-12 years old. Last minute decision to attend and I am so glad we did. The show is located inside the Strat hotel casino. Tickets have to be picked up at the box office inside. The doors open 30 minutes before the show. They have a bathroom right outside and a bar inside once you walk in. They were currently having an all you can drink $25 special. The show is approximately a bit over an hour. The club is small but once seated it is comfortable. The bartend walks around taking orders. There were 3 comedians and each had their own style of comedy. I would recommend that if you are not open minded and take offense to things DO NOT ATTEND. Most of the show was interactive with the audience. I laughed from beginning to end. The headliner Julio is amazing. His ability to tell a story and make it genuinely funny is pure talent. Our last night of a week stay, we came to the 10PM show Monday (last night). We had an extremely hilarious night! Michael Robertson was our host, who got our laughter engines revved up. Then we were off and laughing! I don't remember the name of the next comic, but he had us laughing pretty good and some pretty f&$ked up stuff, ! The headlines, Butch Bradley, was so funny, and he really riffed off the front row - the whole audience was in stitches! Oh my goodness, at some points, I thought I was going to choke on my laughter! Even though we only got 4 hours of sleep because I booked us an early flight, the laughs we so worth it!!! We chatted briefly with Michael on the way out, such a good soul, funny and gracious. If you want some really gut-wrenching, deep laughs, this group of comedians will deliver! The cocktail waitress was great, the drinks were great and priced well, it was a great night. We showed up for the 8 pm Saturday show with tickets from the concierge at Caesars, sat down, watched a few min, and THEN learned that it wasn't a comedy show that evening, but rather a raffle for fallen law enforcement. The venue and the casino that contains it (The Strat) is old, sketchy, dirty, and way out of the way from the main part of the strip. We were so disappointed to have gone out of our way to see the show and then not get anything. What absolutely sucks about this place is their comedians. The opener comedian Akmed something, to Julio Gonzales' show, Julio the horrible headliner, was awful. All he could talk about was sex and body parts. Wow just sickening and uncreative. He was not funny and his guitar playing and singing sucked, period. The headliner Julio Gonzales: I don't know how this guy has lasted in this industry but he is the absolute WORST! He needs to go back to his day job. He is boring, his jokes (if you can call them that) are NOT funny. He has no creativity, he is rude to his audience, and not a professional. He scolded some girls in the audience like an unprofessional baby. Who does that? He uses the audience way too much for the entertainment instead of entertaining his audience. I could go on and on about how bad this guy is. He is misogynistic, racist, clearly hates women, Do not support this guy by going to his shows. LA Comedy Club is located upstairs in The Strat Hotel and Casino. Once we entered the hotel, we had a very hard time locating the Club. We asked several employees, who all sent us in different directions, others didn't even know where it was. It felt like we were on a scavenger hunt just trying to find this club, and there were no signs anywhere in the hotel to direct people to the comedy club. When we finally found the comedy club, we arrived about 10 minutes after the show started. We showed our digital tickets at the door, and were promptly seated in the 3rd row. The staff here is fantastic, they are friendly and very welcoming. The server came by and took our drink orders as we watched the host do his opening lines. There were not a lot of people in the audience, which is to be expected for an early 8pm show. The opening acts were ok, they had a some really good jokes, but I felt like some of them were a little new to standup, and needed a little more practice. Our Headliner Simmons started off great, then slowed down a little. He did close out the show great. We all enjoyed the show, but I was really hoping for some "great laugh" comedy, and didn't feel I got it at this show. We decided to return for the second show. The host came up and did his act, then the next two acts came up, they were both absolutely hilarious. I really wish I could remember their names, because I think they both deserve their own tours, they were both really good. They really got us warmed up for our headliner... Bradley. He had us laughing from start to finish, he was exactly the kind of comedy I was hoping for. His improv absolutely cannot be matched, he used comedy on just about every audience member sitting in the front row, including us. We knew our time was coming and it was 100% worth it. There were a lot more audience members in this show, and I believe every single person in the audience was laughing almost to tears. If you get the opportunity to see him in person, I highly, highly recommend it! LA Comedy Club was great. It was clean, offered a variety of drinks, and had a friendly and welcoming team of staff members who all worked together to make sure each guest was comfortable, and having a great time.
