This show is at South Point and free!!! They give fair warning to leave your sensitivities at home. All forms of topics and chop busting are employed. It's great to be at a show that isn't trying to be PC or water down because someone could be offended.......Its entertainment. Be ready for a few cringes and lots of laughs. For a free show it was amazing in that they had a great host and 3 comedians doing full sets. Almost 2hrs of content. Drinks were reasonable and service at the bar was quick. Note, it was a full house so recommend getting there early enough to claim your favorite spot.

That's right, it's the one and only absolutely FREE comedy show in Vegas, and it never disappoints.

I'm a live standup comedy fan and am still mourning the loss of Wiseguys in the Arts District…read more Wiseguys was always our go-to comedy club as locals, and I finally had time to check out the newest (and now lone) location at Town Square. It's better because parking is free, easy, and plentiful, and this new space is about twice the size of the old one. So there's a lot of good here. I purchased tickets to see Lavell Crawford and paid a reasonable $41 per ticket (including tax and fees). The show quality was good (the two openers not so much), and I didn't like that the staff didn't cut the headliner off when he went on TOO long (so long that the later show started LATE). It became brutal after sitting in there for nearly 2.5 hours! Also, the staff wouldn't let anyone leave so it was a really bad experience. I don't know if this is common here, but it was really, really bad and would make me think twice before seeing another show here. Please, staff: enforce time limits and have the courage to stop the show when the time is up! This location has an expanded food menu with better dishes than the old downtown club. Wings, sliders, nachos, burgers, and more are on offer and reasonably priced for a club. You could easily make an entire evening of it including dinner. The food offerings are substantial and not just throwaway bar snacks. Drinks are a mixed bag, and they do not offer free refills on any of the fountain sodas (lame). Service was quick and efficient, and settling the tab was a breeze. The vibe is classic comedy club, with dim lights, rows of seats that share long communal tables, and a stage that feels close enough to catch every punchline. Seating is first come first served, so arrive early for the best views. Some of the seats can have a blocked view of the stage, so beware. A doorman will seat you when you arrive. Wiseguys features a good mix of touring headliners and local, up and coming acts. Live comedy will always be a mixed bag, so you never know what you're going to get. Tickets are reasonably priced and the folks working the door are so nice and welcoming. The venue is roomy yet intimate, and is a great place to catch a stand-up show. Best of all, it's not super touristy like the rest of the major comedy clubs in town, and its off-Strip location means parking is easy, prices are lower, and the vibe has a more local flair.

Booked surprise tickets for my husband and his father on two separate occasions. The tickets would…read morebe used by my husband and the website says the name of the person showing up needs to match the ticket. So naturally I put his name down and paid with my card, using my email address(its a surprise!). One event was rescheduled and when I was emailed about it, the employee was more concerned about seeing my husband had a different name than the card used except she said there were "two names" for the tickets...um, no. There is one name that the tickets were booked under and the confirmation even had his name. Instead of talking about the inconvenience of rescheduling, the employee was asking if I knew my husband--- why would I not? Anyway after this, my husband showed up to the other event and they played games with him, saying they couldn't find his name. He even showed the screenshot of the confirmation. They were fishing for my name but instead of asking for the name of the cardholder, which would be easy as that is the only place I put my name down... they instead told him his name wasn't in there. Clearly the employee that emailed me saw both names, which makes it obvious they were screwing with him trying to "catch" 3rd party tickets. Newsflash...of course I bought the tickets from their website. That's how I got the confirmation. And if I bought them to resell them, how would I know in advance the name of the person I would sell them to? Stop playing with us regular people and use common sense. I doubt people are that serious about scalping WISEGUYS tickets. The accusatory tone makes things embarrassing. Made for a really bad impression and it was supposed to be a nice birthday surprise for my husband. To top it off, the chairs will give you sciatica. They are packed knee to knee and hard as concrete.

They consistently bring in quality shows at a great value, and the drinks are much more affordable compared to the Strip. One thing to know: the air conditioning is usually cranked up, so you may want to bring a light jacket. The venue has a great layout, and there really isn't a bad seat in the house. I highly recommend this place for a fun concert experience. o the lower one star review, it is a bunch of old people complaining about nitwit stuff.

The showroom had good seating with great stage view, sound and lights are very good, and staff is very friendly and helpful. This venue hosts alot of tribute bands and other performers as well. We saw The Heart of Rock and Roll (Huey Lewis and the News Tribute) this time. We have seen them here in the past and simply love this group. They do a great job at performing Huey's hits and have great trivia during the show and old videos playing during the shows. You can tell this group of talented singers and musicians really have fun performing on stage. The do a meet and greet after the show. If you love the 80s and Huey, this is a show you have to see. And if you haven't seen a show at the Southpoint Showroom, you got to check out this venue. Parking is also free. We already have to see Shenna Easton around the last weekend of August 2026. We have seen her here in the past and she puts on a great show also, amd of course is still as beautiful as ever. A couple other great tribute bands coming are ForJoury (Foreigner/Journey), Bohemian Queen (Queen), Forever Fab (Beatle) and ABBACADABRA (Abba).

Over the last couple of years, Louie has changed his show and he has become a bit quieter. The showroom has removed a number of seats, so most of the seating is in the center only as opposed to being in three areas plus the booths. Attendance last night was not good. With an audience like that, Louie tried with his jokes. Some went over well while others didn't. He then started working some of the audience and he did this expertly. He also commented along the lines of when your jokes are failing, you might as well do this. It was great fun with mild kidding with the couple of audience members. Louie has a very pleasant demeanor and he is quite a funny man in his low key way. He's not a yeller nor screamer like some comics. He gets the job done with low key humor. The ending last night was a favorite facial gesture he gets to remember the one time his mother swore. I think I'll use it from now on.

Nope...don't do it!…read more Louie is a sweet guy and all and means well but at this point in time it is evident that this gig is just a paycheck. His show used to be at Excalibur and now Palace Station has taken him in and even named the dive comedy club after him. I am sure that was at his request and terms of contract in an effort to soften the blow of Excalibur dropping him. A bore of a show, I would have walked out however stayed only because I did not want to hurt his feelers! Would have been way to obvious walking out of this tiny comedy club venue. If you would get a kick out of watching an overweight man sweat while simply talking and rambling on in a normal chat banter than this is the show for you! I came for the funny! Is reviewed as a hysterical comedy routine, um not so much! Sorry Louie, I wanted to like you, but your time has run out on the funny clock :(

Why would I go there when right down the street from my house... Barely a 10-minute drive. I can be at a really nice casino that is way cheaper than anything I've seen on the strip. South Point is one of those places you would tend to overlook, because it doesn't have all the glitz and flash of the strip casinos. You're not going to find any crazy fountains out front, a pirate ship, a volcano, or anything like that. This is definitely a place where the locals go to gamble and eat. Inside the casino was super clean and nice. They had a great well-organized floor. We stopped and looked at some of the happy hour deals, which by far are better than anything out on the strip. Of course there are plenty of gaming options, slot machines, video poker, plus all the usual table games. Bacharat, poker, craps, and roulette. Plus, upstairs they have bowling, a movie theater, and of all things, and equestrian arena. We went and sat and watched some of the equestrian events and it was so much fun. We will definitely come back here when the rodeo is in town. Bottom line? We will definitely be visiting this casino again, happy hour is just too good to pass up, and with the loyalty card, you get $4 movies, and other benefits you would not normally get. I say check it out!
