It's better because parking is free, easy, and plentiful, and this new space is about twice the size of the old one. So there's a lot of good here. I purchased tickets to see Lavell Crawford and paid a reasonable $41 per ticket (including tax and fees). The show quality was good (the two openers not so much), and I didn't like that the staff didn't cut the headliner off when he went on TOO long (so long that the later show started LATE). It became brutal after sitting in there for nearly 2.5 hours! Also, the staff wouldn't let anyone leave so it was a really bad experience. I don't know if this is common here, but it was really, really bad and would make me think twice before seeing another show here. Please, staff: enforce time limits and have the courage to stop the show when the time is up! This location has an expanded food menu with better dishes than the old downtown club. Wings, sliders, nachos, burgers, and more are on offer and reasonably priced for a club. You could easily make an entire evening of it including dinner. The food offerings are substantial and not just throwaway bar snacks. Drinks are a mixed bag, and they do not offer free refills on any of the fountain sodas (lame). Service was quick and efficient, and settling the tab was a breeze. The vibe is classic comedy club, with dim lights, rows of seats that share long communal tables, and a stage that feels close enough to catch every punchline. Seating is first come first served, so arrive early for the best views. Some of the seats can have a blocked view of the stage, so beware. A doorman will seat you when you arrive. Wiseguys features a good mix of touring headliners and local, up and coming acts. Live comedy will always be a mixed bag, so you never know what you're going to get. Tickets are reasonably priced and the folks working the door are so nice and welcoming. The venue is roomy yet intimate, and is a great place to catch a stand-up show. Best of all, it's not super touristy like the rest of the major comedy clubs in town, and its off-Strip location means parking is easy, prices are lower, and the vibe has a more local flair.

One event was rescheduled and when I was emailed about it, the employee was more concerned about seeing my husband had a different name than the card used except she said there were "two names" for the tickets...um, no. There is one name that the tickets were booked under and the confirmation even had his name. Instead of talking about the inconvenience of rescheduling, the employee was asking if I knew my husband--- why would I not? Anyway after this, my husband showed up to the other event and they played games with him, saying they couldn't find his name. He even showed the screenshot of the confirmation. They were fishing for my name but instead of asking for the name of the cardholder, which would be easy as that is the only place I put my name down... they instead told him his name wasn't in there. Clearly the employee that emailed me saw both names, which makes it obvious they were screwing with him trying to "catch" 3rd party tickets. Newsflash...of course I bought the tickets from their website. That's how I got the confirmation. And if I bought them to resell them, how would I know in advance the name of the person I would sell them to? Stop playing with us regular people and use common sense. I doubt people are that serious about scalping WISEGUYS tickets. The accusatory tone makes things embarrassing. Made for a really bad impression and it was supposed to be a nice birthday surprise for my husband. To top it off, the chairs will give you sciatica. Brad was picking on one couple up front & an older big guy who was with his parent's. I can't even put what he said to them on here because it wasn't very nice. Lynne Koplitz was the comedian for the night and she started off really weird. I felt like she was really nervous and wasn't sure what jokes she wanted to tell, maybe not really prepared?? But as she got warmed up she got better. She was nice to the audience & wasn't "picking" on them like Brad did. Showroom was packed. Our cocktail waitress came over to us soon after we sat down. My friend got the Border Patrol speciality drink & it just tasted like a margarita. I got the "bitch" drink which was tasty but one was enough for me. We got to keep the plastic glasses. Bathrooms were clean & had some nice decor & magazine covers of Brad. Security & door staff was nice upon arrival to the venue. After the show my friend saw Brad outside talking to some people who attended his show & he asked me if I wanted to go over & get my picture with him. And he should leave his leaf blower outside. And he wish he had a huge D like the black guy in the audience. Using these old outdated jokes for the primary format of his set was mind boggling. I can't believe people would pay for this. And the awkwardness of people having to laugh and smile thru it all is atrocious. Then the jokes about someone from Gaza blowing up the place. I truly hope no one targeted them after the show as BG mentioned him about a dozen times during his set. I have always adored the comedians at Kimmel and go there often. I won't be back to hear BGs shenanigans anytime soon, nor do I think Miguel or Jerrel the black guy will be either.

At one point I shouted "golden rocks" and suddenly everyone ran with it. Before I knew it we had "platinum pebbles" and "silver stones" being used in the next bits. The whole show was on a roll and really rocked the crowd. I was laughing so hard! The sound board guy has the best laugh. The ref walks around asking the audience for topics and you just shout them out. They take multiple ideas and use whatever you say for each game so your suggestion might become the bedrock of the next scene. I shouted "Dungeon Crawler Carl" and realized instantly that my choice was way too niche. Still, I stand by it. Anyone in the improv world really should listen to those audibles because there is so much comedy gold in it even though it's a litRPG. When the teams are close the ref calls on the audience to decide. One team said "bear belt" instead of "bear gi" and somehow still got the point while the other team said "paragliding" instead of "hang gliding" and didn't. The ambiance is very inclusive and it's a small intimate venue. They have simple concessions, bottled or canned non alcoholic drinks, candy, and cookies. We also got the chance to stay for the next show for only $5 more, which is a deal since tickets were $15 each. If tickets were a little cheaper we would definitely go more often. Regardless we are already planning our next visit. Maybe next time I will dig deep, find my inner quartz, and be their VIP because this show truly rocks my world.

I was visiting from out of town, and originally stopped by for their Tuesday night jam. Unfortunately, not enough people showed up so the jam was cancelled. But I was given a free ticket to their Saturday show. I brought my mom to see it, and we both had a blast. The team members are super energetic and creative! It was non-stop laughs. The referee kept the audience involved and there was never a boring moment. One nice thing was that I saw audience members of all ages, from children up to seniors (my mom is 72). I definitely recommend checking out the jams and shows at this theater, especially if you want a break from all the chaos on the Strip!

The host for the night was HILARIOUS, making jokes off the people in the front row like Chop Towbin AKA King of Cars! The opening act for Jimmy O. Yang was even funnier, and then for the main event - Jimmy O. Yang had me LAUGHING HYSTERICALLY! I hope one of his shows from the tour ends up on Netflix or Amazon! Some tips for first-timers to the theater: 1. Follow the signs for "The Mirage Theater." Aces of Comedy is in the back (like wayyy back of Mirage). It is pretty much a diagonal B line from the parking garage to the theater. 2. The entry process was a breeze. They scanned our electronic tickets and voila, you're in. All the employees were super nice and guided us right to our seats. 3. The theater is a good, intimate size. Stick with section 102 seats and you can't go wrong. The seats slope upward from the stage. We were in the orchestra section, EE 9 and 10, which was pretty dead center to the stage. To me, these seats were PERFECT and would be the seats I would want to get again! 4. The smell of movie theater popcorn will lure you! Fortunately, I practiced self-restraint as I knew I would be getting popcorn all up in the air as I laughed! Go to the Aces of Comedy and get your LAUGH ON!!! :)

When I found out he'd be performing at the Mirage Casino the same time I was going to be in town, it was a no brainer. I had to go. Fluffy had Martine Moreno and Alfred Robles open up for him and they were amusing but Gabriel was the reason I was there. It was a different kind of show because he shared a lot of personal stuff about what he has been going through recently. I can't imagine how difficult it is to go on stage and entertain an audience with humor when some really heavy changes are happening. Don't get me wrong, the show was hilarious for the most part but really touching as well. I don't want to spoil anything for you before you see him or his next comedy special coming soon. It will be different. Now the venue. The room is just large enough to fit a good size crowd but not so big that sight lines are affected or that you lose that sense of intimacy with the performer. Due to my current mobility issues I required some ADA assistance and the staff really delivered overall. There is a phone number you can call to have security meet you at the north entrance by registration and they will provide you with a wheelchair and wheel you to the theater which is a good distance from the self park garage. The security personnel was very friendly and never made me feel as if it was an inconvenience for them. They brought me up the elevator all the way to my seat upstairs. The staff member in charge at the theater was so sweet and accommodating. She made checking in with my mobile tickets a breeze and provided information on how I would be escorted back to the north entrance after the show was over. Be aware it takes a lonnng time for them to send someone to help you though, before and after the show. ADA seating was very comfortable with wide rolling seats and lots of open space. Even though the seats are in the last row, the view was excellent. Important note: the ushers are hardcore (even the older ladies) and will have you thrown out for talking too loud or yelling at the performers or even worse, recording the show on your phone. They may look like grannies but they will come at you like a pit bull if you act stupid or break the rules. Granny don't play dat'.
