The major problem both them is delivering and choices . After 4 failed attempted 1. Received food no ice packs was delivered at 11pm just happen to do put at that tome to walk the dog . If I haven't food would have sat till 8am 2. Received someone's order not mine 3. Twice I didn't get the order in time in and the chef's choice was to put 4 of the same meals for delivery. As I found out its computer generated. So the chef is the robot picking your meals . Over all the food was ok. many times not up to my standards ~ wilted salad etc. I decided to discontinue the food after receiving 4 salads of the same for one delivery . I had to argue for 30 minutes just to receive $125.00 back as a refund. A company that huge is not going to go broke over $125.00 Then when all was said and done. I've been doing the Paleo meal delivery service for 3 meals per day breakfast-lunch-dinner, 5 days per week. I will say that most of the recipes taste good. I do not eat Lean Cuisines and frozen-type meals because I do not like the meat in them. The meat with DeliverLean is real meat and not frozen. Food is fresh and the portion size leaves me full. My issue with DeliverLean is that their bags do not always keep the food cold. I have twice had to throw away food because it was warm when I pulled it out of the bag and the ice packs had melted. I called and reported the issue the first time and they credited my account. I explained that I thought the bag was inferior to the bag they had used previously (one was heavy-duty insulated and one was thin and insulated). I thought that would resolve the issue but it happened again last week. This time, the customer service rep made sure to put a note that I needed extra ice packs and she said she thought it would fix the issue. I will say that customer service is PHENOMENAL about handling the issues and have had no problem crediting the account. They are available and willing to help. I certainly hope the hot food doesn't happen again or I will cancel the account. Its a shame because I have lost weight but I would be forced to find a company with better quality control since I do not have a back-up plan for those meals that get thrown away. I did wind up calling back with a fish and shellfish allergy because I saw Tilapia on the menu and I do not eat Tilapia. In addition, reheating fish at work in the microwave just stinks everyone out and in my opinion, reheated fish just doesn't taste very good. They did inform me that there was a possibility of duplicate dishes and sure enough, I have one this week. Not a problem for me but it might be for others. The are options to mix the number of meals of each plan you have as well - especially, if you are considering eating Vegetarian a couple of days per week for example. All in all, I would recommend them. I have paused them while on vacation without an issue. I recently switched from a competitor and wish I could post pictures of Deliver Lean's version next to their so called competition. The food is packed impeccably and the flavor is delicious. After researching many other companies and being skeptical at the poor reviews (and horror stories!), I decided to take the plunge with Deliver Lean. I have to say that I'm SO glad I did! They have delivered exactly what I was expecting: healthy, fresh and portion controlled meals. Everyone I have dealt with - from the woman who explained the program and signed me up over the phone, to the customer service staff who checked in to see how my program was going - I have been very satisfied at the level of detail and attention paid to keeping me on as a happy customer. The biggest takeaway from my experience so far is (re)learning portion size. At first glance, I thought I wouldn't be satisfied from the serving sizes, but I was wrong. The food is delicious, balanced, and has definitely kept me full. I went for the traditional breakfast and lunch with a paleo dinner option. DeliverLean is the third meal delivery company that I try and I can now understand fully why they say that "third's times a charm." I have absolutely no complaints at all with how great these meals are and how convenient their online ordering system is. I love that the meals are prepared fresh and use solely organic products and that they are perfectly portioned to ensure that you are full without overeating. The convenience of having the nutrition facts and ingredients right on the label make it extremely easy for me to track my intake and know exactly what I'm putting into my system. The meals are dropped off at my company on Monday/Wednesday/Friday and conveniently brought in a cute insulated bag with ice packs to ensure freshness even while keeping it at my desk for the day. I've been eating their meals for two weeks now and honestly cannot get enough. I ordered the service because I am vegan, and count macros. If you are into working out and eat a high Protein vegan diet, then Deliver Lean is not for you. Also, I got several vegan meals with cheese on them. When I called to talk to Customer Service, they assured me that the cheese was vegan. However out of the four meals I received with supposedly vegan cheese in it, not one of them had "vegan cheese" on the ingredients list. When I brought this to the attention of Maria, from Customer Service, she told me that they are constantly coming up with new ideas for the meals, and they can't be changing the label every time they come up with something new. I said in that case, The macro and calorie information on the label is incorrect. She said that she could assure me that it was. How can the calorie information and macro information because correct, if it is going by the old ingredients? Now I don't trust any of the information on the label. Meh. Customer service is lacking: I tried to cancel for over a month before someone actually called me back. I left 3 messages, and two emails. I even sent them a confirmation that the email was sent, and they had "NO RECORD" of it. When I mentioned that I also three times, they had explanation. They also said I was beyond the time frame to cancel. Food quality: The food is okay if you get the traditional plan, but they make a killing if you order vegetarian plan, and of course, if you don't specify exactly what you want, they will give you double/triple of the cheapest collection of ingredients they have in stock. The ingredients for a vegetarian plan might cost them .45cents, to me, that's a whole lot of profit. I would've saved myself a ton of money and aggravation by shopping at FRESH MARKET or WHOLE FOODS ready-made counter. Overall, no worth the money. read more

We have been using Perfect Fuel (part of Deliver Lean) for the past month and love it. The food is amazing. We are getting two different meal size options Lean and Performance. When I move the food to our dinner plates for heating and eating, they are completely full of food. I didn't realize how excess food I was eating at every meal until I started using the service. We have been doing 3 meals per day - breakfast, lunch and dinner. I love to cook, but during the week it gets tough because of limited time in the evenings. I didn't factor in how much time the service would save us everyday. it's been a great added bonus. They drop off cooled bags of food 3 times a week and pick up the empty bags that you leave by the front door. Website is easy to use to order your meals, but you don't need to select them if you don't want to. They will give you the chef's choice on a day that you don't make individual selections. I've been doing Perfect Fuel, which is a sub-branch of Deliver Lean targeting people that do CrossFit, and it has been wonderful. Aside from being convenient, the meals are delicious and offer so much variety! I loved the user portal, where you can choose from different breakfast and lunch/dinner options. The portal and each container shows how many calories, protein, carbohydrates and fat content is in your meal. Many meal delivery companies simply offer one option for each meal of the day, so this was a feature I loved. With CrossFit and Perfect Fuel, I have lost 43lbs. The meals are balanced and filling. My fiancé & myself split the cost of 3 meals for 4 days, which is actually extremely expensive (about $570 with a discount for first timers). I work a lot so it's convenient to have prepared meals. After anxiously awaiting, I was notified about the food being delivered. Unfortunately my fiancé was extremely upset with how the meals looked after being delivered and the practicality of the things like the lettuce wrapped tacos. It would have tasted great I'm sure but the lettuce was so soggy that it really doesn't look appetizing. A couple of other meals were so disheveled that the sauces are on the lid. Wish I would have read the reviews!!!!! I've been using Perfect Fuel (part of DeliverLean) for a few weeks now. Prior to that I was with CateredFit (which I'd rate 2 stars). For the price and quality of the food it doesn't get better. The meals actually taste like food, and I've never had an issue with delivery. A number of people at my Crossfit Box are also using Perfect Fuel. Every Mon, Wed & Fri I receive my meals in an insulated bag with ice packs. The food is cold, and tastes great when warmed up. It doesn't taste like mush with a ton of sauce. I can actually see what I'm being served. I had that issue before with Catered Fit and another service (the name escapes me). I've contacted customer service a few times with some questions, and they've always responded promptly. Most recently I had some confusion regarding one of their snacks and Carlos was quick to respond to my question. Btw, you don't have to pay for the insulated bag like you do with CateredFit. All you do is leave out the bag from the previous delivery the night before (which I forget sometimes- sorry guys don't hate me- I do send them back eventually) and they'll just leave your food in a new insulated bag. I just started using Deliver Lean. They were very professional and courteous on the phone. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase the product. The food was delivered as discussed and was delicious. My wife and I are on a six day plan. Each day, I get three meals and two snacks, all of which are ample, fresh, healthy and delicious. I can't believe that 1700 calories can go so far. We LOVE the program. I highly recommend it. First of all I have to say my original review was not good I only gave them 1 star. This is not due to the food this was due to their Customer service. I had a issue with billing and could not resolve with the girl who answered the phone. But after trying two more time I was able to speak with Peter who is the Vice president of the company. He was able to resolve my problem immediately. He credit us for the automatic renewal which we were not aware of and most of all he treat us with respect, which was so hard to find these days. I have tried a good majority of the local food delivery companies over the years. A couple have been really good and a few not so good. I will say that I had utilized DeliverLean a couple years ago and it was very average with most of the meals containing the same sides and somewhat bland proteins. Everything has changed drastically with this company. The meals are consistently delicious with a varied menu and quality ingredients. At first I was extremely happy with the service but that all changed quickly. The first few meals are great, but then they are very repetitive. They stop sending you alerts about your food. And it is extremely difficult to cancel the service as they automatically bill you. They don't make it easy for your account to charge back to zero. We have had other delivery services in the past. Which were all good but my wife and I found that we would get tired of the food after about a month or two. DeliverLean has been a surprising and refreshing change to delivery meal services. We really enjoyed the vast array of options we had to choose from for our food. The menu changes every week. And each day in the week has some new items that the other days do not. It switches things up very nicely, while still keeping some of the classics in the menu all the time. For example both me, my wife and daughter love their gourmet Almond butter and jelly sandwich meal with veggies. We get that a few times each week. But then they have very different options from Quinoa bowls to delicious Salmon entrees, chicken, beef and the Bison burger with a side of sweet potato wedges was a surprisingly delicious meal I often get once a week. Plus they have meals that are kid friendly which is great for us since we have a picky 4 year old. The meals come out to around $10, and for being not only ready and prepared to eat as well as being cooked with fresh and healthy ingredients, it's a price you can't beat.
