This is the second time to take my truck in for service for touch up paint. Dusty and or crew will walk you through what they think and give you a couple options. They also price things very reasonable. Today I got a phone call from him saying I believe we buffed the spots out pretty well and the touch up paint isn't needed. He said why don't you come up here and see what I'm talking about, and you can decide if you want it painted or not, but I don't see the need. Once I got there, he showed me, and I couldn't agree more with the work. Most shops will just say in needs it to, so you spend your money, but he pretty much said you don't need to spend the $500 you thought. Talk about integrity!!! I feel like the value that I have received both times have been well worth it and the work is also amazing. I'd recommend G2G Paint and body shop to a million out of a million people. Repair work was done incorrectly to my daughter's sunroof resulting in $1,212 in additional damage…read morewhen she opened it for the first time. A rock shattered my daughter's sunroof in August of 2016 on her 2013 Hyundai Veloster. We took the car to Keith Hodges Collision for repair. The sunroof was repaired for a total cost of $1,053 which was covered by my insurance company, State Farm. In March of 2017 when my daughter opened the sunroof for the first time since the repair, the sunroof got stuck and would not close. We returned the vehicle to Keith Hodges for repair. Keith Hodges felt they could not repair the vehicle, so Keith Hodges sent the vehicle to another service shop, J.T. Electronics, for repair. J.T Electronics found that all the broken glass was not removed from the roof of the vehicle when the first repairs by Keith Hodges were made. When the sunroof was opened for the first time, some of the broken glass damaged the tracks of the sunroof resulting in the sunroof not being able to close. J.T. Electronics repaired the damage, including removing the headliner of the vehicle to remove the remaining broken glass (which should have been done by Keith Hodges the first time) and then replacing the tracks. The bill from J.T. Electronics was $1,212. The bill was submitted to State Farm, but was denied due to the fact that the repairs were done incorrectly the first time...resulting in the additional damage to the tracks. I have spoken to Keith Hodges himself on several occasions. He refuses to do anything to make this right. His only response is "we are not a window repair shop." I feel if he felt he wasn't qualified to fix the sunroof in the first place he should have told us that and recommended we take it to someone who specializes in window repair.

My transmission was shifting hard and the truck was becoming less and less reliable. At the time, my 2009 F-150 had close to 290,000 miles on the original transmission, so it wasn't hard to understand why I needed a new one. James was able to get me a quick reasonable quote for a rebuilt transmission from REMAN. I believe they offer a 3 year / 100,000 mile warranty for parts and labor. James was honest about the time it would take to get the part, and gave me a clear timeline for the installation. He completed the job, sticking to the promised timeline, and the cost was exactly as quoted. Unfortunately, through no fault of J&J, there was a problem with the new transmission that presented after the work had been completed. This was no problem for J&J. They worked with Reman to get it replaced and didn't charge me another cent. In addition to excellent service and honesty, James is a friendly guy who is always willing to do a ride along when we have any kind of mechanical issue. He is helpful in pinpointing any areas of concern. He will point you in the right direction if it's something he doesn't personally work on. We hope not to have mechanical failures, but when we do we know we can rely on J&J.

If this is the way he does business and has been doing business we feel sorry for the other many victims he has hurt and have been cheated by him. I get a call from Hubbard about a month later and they said that the mower was ready. When I went to pick it up the charge was $98! Assuming that the repair was to be covered under warranty they said that warranty doesn't cover dirt in the carburetor and that they also replaced the spark plug, air filter and sharpened the blade. I said that they should have called me for authorization of the non-warranty work. They said that the W/O just said "won't start" and didn't mention warranty work and besides the warranty doesn't cover maintenance. I told them that not calling for authorization was poor business practice and that most of what they did I would have done myself if they would have contacted me. I grudgingly paid the $98. As I was leaving the lady behind the counter said "we always have problems with people who live to the south". (I live about 20 miles south of their location.) I will never use this unprofessional, bigoted business again!
