Claims he called out twice and claims "what more could I do?" Well, for one, stop being a prat and walk over to get my attention. Dr. Philip Westmore made me wait 30 minutes before I complained to reception. They were nice and apologetic but he wouldn't stop going on about it. I waited a few more minutes. When I saw him heading towards me covering the distance half way he whispered my name where I cold hardly hear him to pretend thats how he calls the next patient. I told him I didn't believe he couldn't figure out how to get my attention. Dr. Philip Westmore told me I was calling him a liar and tried to refuse service. I wouldn't have it. He told me what I needed to know. So told him to F Off and left. Dr. Philip Westmore just trying to muck with someone like he has the predatory opportunity and wanted to show off. A prema-donna child pretending to be a doctor just wanted to try and get away with messing with someone. I got getter things to do and better places to go. So many doctors at Ashwood Medical Group you're gonna get a bad experience at least once a year.

The only downside is that it's a popular practice and can be quite busy, making it sometimes difficult to get an appointment.

The rooms were very large, with all the equipment in the room; it means they don't need to leave the room for the baby's injections/baths etc. The room also contained a flat screen television and one of those big cushy reclining chairs. The nurses/midwives at Cabrini were extremely friendly and helpful. After the birth, my sister was required to stay for 5days. Her husband was able to stay with her the whole time, as they had a double bed. She quotes it was like being on holiday, with constant room service. She was able to order a prawn cocktail and fresh oysters (the plate came with 6!) and other yummy items. The Cabrini cafeteria is really something to talk about, I have never seen so much good (real) food in a hospital before! They also had a sweet section that sold good quality cakes and treats. If you do get sick of the food, don't worry-Cabrini is right next to Glenferrie Rd, where a plethora of restaurants/cafes reside. The hospital also has an enjoyable outdoor/park type area to relax in. The gift shop is also worth mentioning, although it was very small, the stock they had was of good quality and variety. Definitely an inviting hospital, will probably give birth here too when it comes to being my time.

When I was first diagnosed, I was told I would have to go through a grieving process and it would take some time to adjust to my new life. This sounded crazy, I mean, it's just a food group - but think about it: how much of your identity is captured by what you can eat? Are you a "let's go grab a pizza!" kind of person? Or a stumble into Macca's for a burger after a night drinking beer? I can't be that girl. It's really well set up and really welcoming for all the noobs. Staffed primarily by volunteers who are coeliacs themselves, pop in and have someone help to take the pressure a little off of your shoulders to reidentify yourself.
