They sit you in a financial person's office and try to put you in a pressured situation. They will give you a fancy binder, a nice pen and chapstick. They'll have the Dentist hand sign a treatment plan letter made out to your name. They'll try to use the Dentists veteran status to gain trust. Seek out a 2nd opinion before paying thousands for possible treatment you don't need. I had my X-rays sent to my previous dentist after being at Summit Dental and followed up with an appointment. My original dentist said my teeth looked the same as usual and he replaced one old silver filling with a new one. No mention of crowns or any other unnecessary work. Vulnerable people are trusting a Dentist because we believe what they advise is true. I fully support our veterans and I support getting dental treatment when necessary. Unfortunately this office was one I will never return to. I would advise against anyone considering to go there.

Instead of contacting me, they discussed the additional procedure with my minor son, who left feeling pressured into having both fillings completed. The office later said he verbally consented, but I don't believe a 16-year-old should be authorizing additional treatment without a parent being contacted. We won't be returning. Dr.Phyu is an AMAZING dentist. She is personable, truly cares about her patients, and is also realistic and helps set expectations for dental procedures. I greatly appreciate her realness. The office works like a well oiled machine. You can see techs running around tending to clients and the communication between them and the dentists is very clear and concise. It makes me feel like they are competent and know what they're doing. The office is always clean, and it has personality with how the office staff decorate it. Makes it feel less sterile.
