I'm not even making this up. and has no patience on waiting for the hygienist to be done to examine you that she leaves for the day and makes you reschedule just to have her examine you when she could have done it the same day she was supposed to. The receptionist Sabrina doesn't know what she's doing. She couldn't explain my charges and seems confused. I've been coming here for 5 years and they have new staff every time it seems. I can see why! There were only a handful of people that were great and professional (Joel, Jaime and Shawn) but unfortunately for the patients, they left this unprofessional practice. Update. This review was typed up over 5 years ago and I never finalized it. I drove by the other day wondering where their business sign was and come to find out they are permanently closed. KARMA! Interesting because my prior dentist never observed gum disease in the years I went to him. I quickly made an appointment with my old dentist, knowing I would have to pay out of pocket because is no longer covered on my new insurance. Best money I have ever spent! My gums are completely stable, no periodontal disease, no need for a deep cleaning. No need for anything Bright Now! claimed was needed in terms of gum recession. In addition, at Bright Now! they noticed a cavity during that initial exam and quoted me for a crown at $3500! My dentist saw the same cavity and fixed it in 25 minutes for $215. You get the picture. The amount of pain, suffering and money I would have spent if i hadn't went for the second opinion. . . It is shocking.

Today was my first appointment and I could not have been more impressed by the state of the art practice and their professional care. I had broken a crown in half and they were able to fit me in on short notice and get the crown reprepped and sent to the lab. Her injections were painless and the entire staff could not have been kinder. The exam was thorough and upbeat with no criticism of past dental work or oral hygiene. That's always appreciated. Apparently Dr Spaniel has been practicing 25+ years and recently opened her practive in the Bridgeport area of Tigard. There is easy parking. *Updated* Wow, was in today after COVID19 remodel of the entire office. Dr. Spaniel has spared no expense to create the safest possibly working environment. It blew me away, it's literally a 'clean room' in every space. The air is recirculated 14 times per minute with two huge HEPA filters in each room, and I can't even explain the extent of the clean room technology, it's beyond 'state of the art'.
