My husband had a 2:00pm appointment scheduled for Friday May 12th. My husband waited for over 30 minutes for the office to open, since there was a sign posted at the door saying the staff would be back at 2:00pm. At about 2:30pm he's let into the building and another client is taken before him. My husband sits in the waiting room and around 3:00pm, they tell my husband they see he had an appointment scheduled but that it wasn't listed on their schedule properly. Seems pretty unprofessional to schedule an appointment, send confirmation and then say they don't actually have one scheduled. What an absolute waste of time. read more

I wish I could give negative star. It has been a complete nightmare working with this doctor. I have been with them for years. He has serious billing issues. He failed every treatment he did on me. First he created a flipper for me for my front tooth. He promised me that it would be perfectly fine and I could eat with it. But in reality I hardly used it. I couldn't eat even for a single time. Then he started an implant procedure and I warned him that my previous implant didn't have good record and suggested if there was any alternate solution. But he proceeded with implant. Ultimately it was a complete failure. In the process I lost thousands and valuable time of my life. Then he suggested me to do the bridge there which I asked him to explore when he started the implant. Anyway I had no choice but to agree and he did it after few failures even getting broken couple of times. Ultimately he did it but I never used that bridge. it was not adjusted properly, very painful and I never used it for eating. All these procedures are a failure. That is not the end. On my last visit I was cleared of any charges. I met all my financial obligations based on their estimates. Then in January 2023 after few months, from nowhere he sent me a bill of $5300+ citing my insurance won't pay. So ultimately I am now required to pay another $5300+ for his virtually ZERO service to me. I have done similar and even more procedures with my doctor while I was in Arizona during 2017-2018 with my one insurance and hardly paid anything significant. But here @ Bethany Dental I have been forced to pay thousands with my two insurances - primary & secondary. Imagine that. He just sent me an email when I expressed my financial concerns on his bogus bill. Here is his response: "You can however schedule a time to come in and speak with me (Tasha the Office Manager) and I can go over every detail with you based on all documentation we have on your claims, signed agreement to treatment and payment - showing the fine print (stating if insurance does not pay for any reason balance becomes your responsibility), as well as all of your consent forms you signed (agreeing to do treatment with a possibility of failure)." The above sentences from them clearly prove (on their own admission) - he failed in my procedures but still wanted me to pay (more than you could pay anywhere else) and he works on fine print of the form which they never explained to a patient. Remember this doctor screwed me medically and financially. He worked on fine print of the form you sign which is morally & ethically incorrect. Please do not go to this doctor; you have the risk of financially victimized as I have been. Can you imagine how low a doctor can go? Even after such an ugly experience I wanted to have filling done there but he didn't do that & sent an email to me saying only his office manager will deal with me from now; you know what it means. Furthermore the imperfect bridge is still under warranty and I am not sure he will fix it or not because as you see his office manager is the only one who will deal with me from now on. This doctor may do the regular things like cleaning etc. but in complex stuff he won't make you happy as you can read other comments/feedbacks/reviews here. My wife was his patient too but she left many years back seeing his incompetency but I was too stupid to stay there to ruin my life. You can contact me if you need further information @ 480 516 6644. I have asked my insurances to investigate and am waiting for their outcomes. Fortunately my company has a full service support center who will work for me to settle my complaints. In all my experience with medical providers I've never had the level of care and bed side manner as I have under the care of Dr. E! He shows that cares about me. I know that! He checked in on me after I had to have oral surgery from another provider, that was outside of his scope of coverage. He didn't just check in on me the day of my surgery, but again a few days later. I've had a few dental issues this year and he and his staff were so living and caring each time. I'll never go to another dentist! Very happy with my first visit. The staff at the front desk were friendly and competent. I know that sounds like a sideways insult but often the front desk staff are the ones who ruin a good practice. The tech that took my X-rays was very nice and friendly. You could tell she wanted to do a good job. Her work ethics were commendable. When she fumbled a little bit, I could tell she was concerned. I big deal. She was on stage and really wanted to perform well. I liked that the dentist actually did the cleaning. I don't know if this was due to being my first visit and he created a good baseline or if this is the standard here. Either way, I liked that. He complimented the work in my mouth that my precious dentist performed in Washington. I thought that took class. Good form. I know I have more work that needs to be done on my existing old fillings. At the conclusion of the visitI, they went over a plan of care with estimated costs that took my insurance in to account. I was very happy with that. All in all, a very good experience. I love going to the dentist. How many people can say THAT?!? :) Dr. Enyati, Rhys, and his whole staff are just the best. I've been seeing Dr. E for about 10 years, I think. He's been the best, through good times and bad. And I have utmost confidence that he is staying current with new information and education in his field. When I was about 45, Dr. E helped me correct my overbite that I'd had all my life by removing two teeth and then recommending a terrific orthodontist who provided braces. The follow-up from Dr. E and staff was wonderful. I felt totally confident that I had made the right decision to go through with the braces. One day a few years ago during a regular check-up and cleaning, I just burst out in tears, because my father had just died, and I was just over-emotional and over-whelmed. Dr. E. was very kind - as he always is - and allowed me to reschedule without charging me for the missed appointment that I left before it started. Another thing that's really important to me is that Dr E and Rhys never make me feel embarrassed for having SUPER sensitive teeth. Worst experience of my life. I trusted this prosthodontist to provide me with dental implants after extracting all of my upper teeth. I was charged for each time I had to go in to reline my dentures (that I never wanted) which is covered by every provider I have met with since then. I later learned that several payments that I made privately were retroactively billed and paid for by insurance. I have several billing issues with Bethany Dental Care and Dr Enayati. I would not recommend people see him, make sure your estimates match your bills and coverage for the work really performed. In addition Dr Enayati replaced two old fillings he said I needed to do and they said were covered but I ended up with charges back from them 90 days later, just a plain invoice with my name on it, No dental codes, No Description of service, No Date of Service just $348 dollars due they said was overdue, first I heard of it. My Dental plan only pays for 1 cleaning a year and Dr Enayati tries to take advantage of his clients by telling them the extra cleanings are necessary. Dr Enayati initiates care before asking what your plan can afford, example performing a laser scaling on my teeth for a second time that was not needed. I received an estimate for a crown and when I showed up to my appointment the cost was doubled, I walked out and called my insurance company. Something is suspicious about the billing practices at Bethany Delta Clinic. I called my dental plan and they had to put me on a 3 way call with Dr Anayati Billing dept and they said it would be too hard to go back to Sep to check if the additional work was performed or not. The next say I received an updated bill estimate they typed over with the dollar amounts and codes. Since Sept I have seen a different dentist who said the two replacement fillings Dr Anayti did should not have been done, they were drilled to deep and would only cause me more issues. The crown Dr Anayti said I needed was not needed on the tooth was was planning to crown. Now the tooth with the replacement filling needs a root canal because Dr Anayti drilled too deep to the root. So this must be Dr Anyati's plan to do poor work then get you back to charge you more money. Comes off as a super nice guy but wait until you get charged. Plenty of good dentists in Portland. read more

We did not have a good experience with Endodontic work done at Bethany Dental and had to have 2 root canals re-done by an Endodontist with better technology and experience. After posting our experience, this Dr. called and ended up reimbursing us for the out-of-pocket expenses incurred so far at the other Endodontist, which we appreciate. I recommend going to someone that specializes in Endodontics if you are in need of a root canal, to avoid having to pay out of pocket with benefits being maximized, which is what happened to us. Again, we are grateful for the reimbursement. The entire situation could have been avoided by going to another Endodontist to begin with. Now we know. read more

after my first 2 visits it was very clear of the problems to come. They are very nice, no complaint there. However I really felt like nothing more then money to them. The work was mediocre at best, I had a bit of work done that I feel was very rushed and done half ass at best. In the end I had to go to a better dentist to get my work redone and done right. The work I had done there was very PAINFUL! Not something I look forward to from a dentist visit. I tried them because they were closer to home then others, now I know its worth the drive to go somewhere else. If you look forward to a painful, expensive experience then by all means. I wish I could select 0 stars. I have to say that while Dr. Anyati is a very nice person, I would absolutely not recommend him to be your dentist. I spent thousands of dollars having him replace my metal fillings, and now two years later all my teeth are breaking, I am having to have crowns down and the work he did all has to be redone. I didn't do research before coming here and that is my fault. I thought because it was in a nice area that this would be a good place to go, but I was TOTALLY WRONG. I have had a lot of work done over the years by several different Dentists and Dr. Enayati is the best of the bunch and I have had some pretty good Dentists. I just had him do a root canal and crown prep. Absolutely painless and that has not always been the case with former Dentist's.
