Bravo Southwest, everything went smoothly due to flight attendants wonderful assistance getting everyone on a full flight. However, will mention thatI was in boarding group 3 of 8 boarding groups and was seated in row 5, that may have helped. What I am really excited to share is the new snack selection. Gone are the days of course of the honey roasted peanuts and make me thirsty pretzels. Drum roll please! On my relatively short flight from San Diego to Dallas I not only received one or tow, but three snacks. I will call them inclusion snack trio because there is something for everyone, lol! The first and the one I was most excited about was the siete's Mexican Wedding grain free cookies, I am glad I am starting with these. Perfect for those with gluten sensitivity; however, not good for me. The portion was very small, and the cookie tasted nothing like a Mexican Wedding Cake cookie. The cookie had an odd taste and the coating was nothing like powder sugar. The texture was very crunchy and nothing like the delightful texture of a short bread cookie. Needless to say I could not finish the small portion and had to give them to my husband, he will eat anything. Ok, so the second snack was Remy's Grahams Cinnamon Graham Crackers. I like them, they taste as you would expect a cinnamon graham cracker to taste. The portion was a generous. The product is nut free, so good for all you no peanut people. The company also says that they have no artificial colors, no artificial flavors or preservatives. The third item and my personal favorite by a long shot was Stellar Mini Pretzel Brands in the Maui Monk flavor. The pretzels are vegan and peanut butter free. These are delicious!!! Way to go Stellar snacks!! How you made a pretzel taste so mouth watering buttery with vegan products is magical. In addition the sweet perfect Maui onion flavor is delightful. Yes, will scanning the QR code on the back of the packaging to find out where procure the wonderful product. Such a cheerful flight attendant that took care of us on the 2 hour flight. We joked that Southwest should add New Year's Day to the free drink schedule. She said she would take it up with management. We like to travel on holidays as the flights are not packed. And the upgrades to the 737-800 MAX are nice. Future reviews may not be as kind because I really enjoyed the open seating policy they have maintained for decades.

Well Monday night they call to say the flight is delayed until 9:00 AM. No problem. So we arrive at the airport around 8:00 AM Activity board still says 8:00 AM, and the board at the gate says 8:00 AM. I'm told, "oh no one pay attention to that". OKAY. Boutique Air is a small airline with small planes, our plane is an 8 seater, single propeller. BTW, no security here, what so ever. I'm from New York, so this is very different from what I expect. At check in the first question is, " how much do you weight". I guess they need this information to distribute weight in the plane. Good thing Mrs. E is not with me because no way she's giving that information up. Now flight is delayed another 30 minutes, than another 30 minutes. I learn there's only 3 people on this flight. I'm starting to see a pattern. Now we're in a weather delay. A decision will be made at 11:15. They take the plane back to the maintenance hanger, so I'm starting to feel like this plane is not going to fly today. Their cancellation policy is, after a three hour delay you can get a refund. Should have left at 8, now it's 11. I'm pretty good at math so three hours, refund please. I rented a car and drove 4.5 hrs to Carlsbad. You might think 4 stars is generous but for a small operation like Boutique Air, they were very reasonably and nice. Even offered coffee or soda during the initial delay. I get it, it's just business, taking just 3 people on a 1.5 hr flight may not be profitable. The third person that would have been on our flight is a regular customer and she said that they are normally very good. I believe her. Although I don't see myself using this airline again since I'm rarely if ever in this area, I would suggest them to you. Just check the "weather ", before booking, LOL.

Well damn, now I know why I keep coming back. You can have my money ANYTIME.YOU.WANT! I took a one-way flight from ABQ back to SF at 6 AM in the morning (what was I thinking?). I am not an early morning person, but it was great to come on an airline where I don't have to worry about delays (cough cough) like United Airlines. We boarded on time and left ABQ as scheduled. The ride was smooth and even better, we arrived early! During the flight, the lovely lady crew members came around to give snacks and complimentary drinks. The aircraft that we took was a small one. The cabin baggage was smaller then what I was used to. It was difficult to get my carry on to fit inside. The nice crew members recommended I put my carry on under my seat. Although it didn't totally "fit" I was still able to get away with it. I love how accommodating they were; especially since I didn't want to check in my bag. Alaska also provides amazing customer service. If they are right or wrong they always go out of their way to make sure their travelers are happy. For example, we arrived in San Francisco an hour early and we didn't have a gate yet. Do you know what our pilot did? Well, he flew into Terminal 2 and we came down a temporary ramp and loaded into a bus and drove to the terminal 2 building. I've been traveling for over 2 years now on various different airlines and never seen any other airline do this. Usually, if your plane arrives early and there is no available gate your plane waits until the actual arrival time. Sucks! But this was not the case with Alaska. I absolutely LOVE Alaska Airlines!
