What's that old saying of old, "Ice cream, ice cream, we all scream for ice cream". I stumbled upon this ice cream shop while just perusing the neighborhood close to my hotel. Okay, I know I've said in the past that I'm not a sweet person, which is true. However, ice cream is in a category by itself. For all the nutritionists, doctors, health-conscious people, and the like, please forgive me for what I'm about to say: in a perfect world, I could eat ice cream over food. Yes, I said it and am not taking it back. Yes, I'm aware that it would not be advantageous for my health and possibly cause my early demise. But it's so good and brings me such joy, which is probably good that I did not see this place until the last day of my stay in the area. I was told that they change the favors frequently, so if you don't see something that you would like, no fear; daily change is here. But you won't know if you don't go. Hey, you like the rhyme; lol. So many flavors, so many different toppings, it was hard to choose. Everything not only looked fresh, but the ones I did choose were fresh as well. (No, I'm not saying how many and which ones; I don't want anyone judging me. I watched two children's faces light up when their grandparents opened the door to the shop; it was as if they floated to the ice cream bar. The staff was super friendly and informative about the flavors. It was a clean and wholesome atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and check them out. You will be glad that you did. BTW, I got a cup with some chocolate and vanilla ice cream with a waffle cone, almonds, and a little hot fudge. So, good...everything in moderation. read more

Visited Delta Dairy on Mother's Day. We are always greeted upon entering. Staff is always friendly here... It's always so clean and pleasant inside. You have the option is sitting inside or take out. We chose to walk on the track across the street since it was nice and breezy outside. They have so many selection including toppings to pick from! read more

The place is well kept and they had a handful of flavors to choose from, which was okay because they had plenty of toppings to choose from which is the whole point of a place like this. If making a cup of Fro-Yo isn't your thing they also had a bunch of ice cream sandwiches you could pick from and they are delicious on their own lol. Wonderful little place for your froyo fix. Plenty of fresh and candy toppings. Being diagnosed with diabetes this last year I steer clear of these temptations, but when I asked did they have a sugar free option. I was told the strawberry was no sugar added so only the natural sugar was in this frozen taste of heaven. read more

Nice little frozen yogurt shop with just the right size store space to do this type business in. Located down town Cleveland on Sharp avenue. You just come in as it is self serve and pick up a cup and choose what ice cream you want. I chose two different ice creams. Then, you put what toppings you want on it. Just passing through town on a summer road trip with my girlfriend and stumbled upon Delta Dairy after searching "ice cream near me" on AppleMaps. I actually had to turn the car around and travel 8 miles backwards on our route...but I'm glad I did. I had triple chocolate truffle topped with hot fudge and cone/cookie pieces and my girlfriend had butter pecan. Both were absolutely fantastic and not too expensive. Will definitely be back next time I'm even remotely close to Cleveland. read more

I eat a lot of frozen yogurt... If I see a new place that I haven't been before, I'll make a mental note to come back or I'll just stop right then and there. I was really happy to see that a froyo shop in the Delta, specifically Cleveland, was opening up! I was in town for a visit not long ago and made sure to stop. The location is rather charming (small, bricked, part of a historic building) and it seems to have a regular crowd of nice, welcoming patrons. Now, for the real meat (cream) of the subject: They have a smaller selection of yogurt than you would find in a bigger store at a larger local, but, for an indecisive Libra like me, this is a good thing. I'd rather have a smaller number of good flavors (that seems to always rotate, so nothing is there too long) with high quality toppings vs. twenty other flavors that I have to sort through. I've had my favorite, to date, flavor here. Lemon icebox pie. It was delish. I'll be back as soon as I can! read more

We sure enjoyed the yogurt, but agree with many of the other customers we know that it is far too expensive. I hope they'll lower the prices so more than 5% of Cleveland can enjoy this place. I have never been a big froyo fan, but that changed when Delta Dairy opened. I try to be open-minded about things and be willing to try new stuff. I am glad I did!! I found out that I do like froyo. But my favorite "style" is still the sorbets, specifically the orange sorbet. The watermelon is good, too. Who am I kidding? All the flavors are good, and they rotate so you never get burnt out on any one flavor, and you can relax because you know your favorite will be back soon. This allows for more chances to be adventurous and branch out. There are lots of great toppings for adults and children to choose from, with something for every taste. Also, since you pay by the ounce, you get to choose how much or how little you want to spend. That is a great deal!!! The location is perfect and the shop is cool. It is in part of a recently restored historic building and has exposed brick walls and great ambiance. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This is one of my favorite places to go have a treat and hang out and visit. I always see people I know, and I get a chance to catch up on what is going on with them and we all have a good time.
