Food is what I like - hot and tasty and the drive-thru is very efficient - staff are friendly and very well dressed

The food sucks bro, and the service is terrible. I have worked at a sonic in Memphis and we had addicts who could do a better job than this. We just waited like 30 minutes, coming an hour and 30 mins before close and no one ever answered a speaker. My order is always incorrect. read more

First off, I used to work at a Sonic. Knowing this, here is what I have to say about this one: 1. This is one of the slowest Sonics I've ever been to. They never seem to have more than 1 or 2 carhops, and no one ever seems to be in any hurry. 2. My order has NEVER been correct. Even when every single thing is correct on my receipt, sauces will be missing, burgers will be missing/have too many condiments and dressings, entire parts of the meal will be missing, and don't even try to order the gravy there. They won't give it to you. There seems to be a large issue between the order panel and the kitchen. 3. The food is never hot, only warm (at best). I'm sure they would fail every single inspection. Overall, it's the worst sonic I've visited by far. However, there are very little options in terms of food in Cleveland, so just know you'll end up there at some point, and it will be subpar. read more

This is possibly the SLOWEST sonic I have ever been to. They have car hop stations and a drive thru. If you go to a station even for a drink expect to spend upwards of 10 mins waiting. The drive thru is only slightly faster. I love sonic (my old sonic anyway) and I go each morning before work to get a drink as is my habit.. I've had to adjust my morning schedule so I make it to sonic 10 mins before I have to be at work. Some days I'm lucky and only wait 4-5 mins but most days it takes around 8. I know I know (why do you still go if they are so bad?) because I'm a sweet tea adict. I can't help myself To update my review. My husband and I came for lunch today 11/24/19. He got the popcorn chicken meal and I got a pretzel twist with cheese dip and a sweet tea. We sat in the car hop station for just under 15 mins. Got home and pulled out the food. His order is correct. The pretzel stick is completely burnt and there is no cheese dip. I'm so disappointed. Not only did we wait way longer than is necessary. My meal is not edible. read more

This restaurant has been here for as long as I can remember. I would estimate maybe closing in on 40 years. It has been rebuilt 3 times. The first sonic was across the street from its present location. Then, they closed it and built a new one where it is now about 15 to 20 years ago. Then, about 5 years ago they completely tore it down and built this one that stands today. I believe this is Cleveland's most popular restaurant as far people visiting it. Sometimes you can't even find a parking place here during lunch hour on week days. There service has always been fast and friendly. I usually get a combo meal. I ordered two all American dogs and a chicken tender dinner. I got two ice cold hot dogs that literally went from the fridge to the bun. The employees did not make any attempt to heat them up. The 5 piece chicken finger dinner I ordered was a joke. I got 4 burnt and cold tenders, a cold onion ring, cold tots, and no Texas Toast. I watched through the drive through window as a young lady prepared slushes. She filled the cups beyond capacity then licked the excess off her hands, grabbed the cups with her "licked" hand and out the door she went. I also saw a woman with hair past her knees preparing food, no hair net, hair swinging around as she moved all over counters. This place needs a pop up inspection and a new manager ASAP. read more

We go to Sonic almost every single day of the week for drinks. Over the summer and into September now, your store has gotten my order wrong well over half of the time. The Coke Zeros have been flat the last several times, which I assume effects many other customers too. When I order a Strawberry Daiquiri you guys give me a Strawberry Margarita. When I order a Lemon Slush, I get a Frozen Lemonade. When I've ordered Coke Zero with Vanilla either nothing is in there or it's wrong, the most recent time it was bubblegum. I cannot depend on your store to give me the right order anymore. I'm not sure where the disconnect is, most every time my order has been wrong the receipt has been correct. What gives, Sonic? A manager needs to be on duty until you can get your business together. I've lived here for 6 years and this year it's been a mess. read more

I stop by this Sonic because they have the country fried steak sandwich. This may be my last. Today's order taker was not friendly when taking order. She kept interrupting me and i repeated my order twice and she still got it wrong. When i pressed red button to explain, she was very rude. I asked for Ketchup packets.
