My brother and I always joked that they had chicken wings at a gas station. "How good could they be?" We'd always laugh. But then one time we were down south with husband and he commented on the fact that they sell fried chicken wings at a gas station. After passing it up several times driving back and forth between Leland and Greenville, my husband decided we had to stop and try it. Good thing we did! They're basically the chili cheese fries with jalapenos, bacon and ranch dressing. They were so good! Also, the sweet tea here is perfect. I've always had a pleasant experience with the staff. The drive through can be a bit slow at times, but I think the food is worth the wait.

There is a convenient store to the left of it but Krystal is located next to it in a separate building. Please see picture I took of what this restaurant looks like and what you should look for when driving on highway 1 North. Menu items ordered: a Bacon Krystal and a small fountain drink which was a coke. The Krystal was so good I wished I had ordered more than just one. Yes, I will be back here another day.

The desserts on the line didn't look appealing, but one of the staff told us that we could choose from various cakes as we got closer to the check out. What I saw next was inexplainable! I looked at the area with the cakes and it was in complete disarray (look at my pictures). There was a guy cutting store bought cakes and putting them in individual containers. The area was messy and the entire setup was unprofessional. While we were eating, I looked over to the food line and a guy was stirring food with one hand and talking on his cellphone with the other. Again, very unprofessional and unsanitary. One of the waitresses was also constantly drinking in front of the drink machines. The only plus worth mentioning is that the restaurant itself is nicely decorated. This place has a long way to go, so I'm not certain I'll be returning.

Location manager saves the day! When we entered the store the person taking orders was so rude to…read morethe people in front of us. I didn't see the beginning of the interaction but when it was our turn, we were treated to the same attitude. She ended up getting my order wrong. While we were eating, the people sitting behind us called the manager out to complain about the employee and when he asked us how we were I asked him if I could change out the item I didn't like for the item I wanted. He didn't hesitate and didn't even ask me to pay extra, which I offered. The food was hot and fresh. Great value for the price. We would definitely return not only for the food but for the manager. When we left, the employee who had been taking orders was no longer there. The restaurant was clean.
