Very happy with the work of this company. They were referred to me and they first came out to replace a broken window. Vern came out and made the replacement quickly and painlessly - I did not even have to be there. Months later I contacted them for a quote to replace all my first story windows after Hurricane Beryl showed me where all my window leaks were (original windows). Again Vern and Joe came out. They were timely, neat, and fast. The only hold up was the weather - it was a very rainy week which is not their fault. There were a few hiccups but as soon as I called, they came out and made some tweaks. My windows are awesome. I called to make an appointment to have a window fixed and spoke with Tamara (apparently she is the owner). After what seemed to be phone trouble and calling back 4 times, she finally got my information, gave me a quote, took my address, and said they would be out Saturday. On Saturday, no on showed up. I called back today to inquire about if they were still going to come out. A very rude man answered the phone and told me they don't work on Saturday, he has 2 men in the truck and they would never replace a window for the price Tamara quoted me, and she has been making all kinds of mistakes. Delta Glass, 15255 Gulf Freeway, #165, 77034, installed a frameless glass shower enclosure including the glass door in our bathroom. Their quote was overpriced, they measured the door incorrectly so it drags on the floor, and although they indicate that there is a one year warranty, they refuse to fix it. They have acted rude to us and have not responded to our calls even though they know we have a handicapped person trying to use the shower. This is a terrible company. So quality of work is bad, service is awful, and the work is overpriced. How many stars would you give them? read more

Love this company! We renovated 4 large bathrooms in our home and found Delta Glass online. I wanted the sleek looking Skyline Empire shower doors and very few businesses do them. When I called for an estimate, they sent out someone the next day to do measurements. Tom called and emailed me that very day with a price quote. Everything was installed within the time frame they promised and looks fantastic! I am just now finishing a 4 bathroom renovation at our beach house and hope they travel to Galveston to work. We had been referred to this company when we remodeled our master bathroom about 2 1/2 yrs ago. They came and did a good job and so we contracted them to install the frameless shower doors to the bathroom upstairs. The products are good thus far but the service after the sale is horrible. We had called the company yesterday to inquire about replacing the shower door guard strips but were absolutely shocked of the attitude of the front desk lady. She was impatient and rude; did not offer to help us despite our pleading to her to help us. She didn't care of our needs even after we had told her that we had purchased two shower doors from them. IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE. THEY DO NOT CARE AFTER THEY GOT YOUR BUSINESS. Just try another company. Delta's service is good unless you have to deal with Tom, one of the owners. For your sake, I hope nothing goes wrong with your installation, as Tom is NOT understanding of such matters. I've never had a more unprofessional interaction with a business owner. I would avoid using Delta just to eliminate the risk of having to deal with him. Here's the background: I hired Delta to temporarily remove and then re-install a large shower glass panel in order to remodel and lay new tile. Removal went smoothly; Delta came out first thing the morning after I called - no problems. For the re-install, my tile contractor planned to meet Delta on site to ensure the glass was installed in the manner he needed (flush against the wall). The tile contractor was available for the entire 4-hour window Delta provided that morning (8am to noon), but had a conflicting meeting when they showed up at 12:30pm instead. Thus, I passed along the seemingly simple installation instructions to the service guy over the phone. Later that night, I find the glass incorrectly installed in its original position as opposed to fully up against the wall like I instructed. When Tamara called the next morning to process payment, I informed her of the installation error. I asked to delay payment until my tile contractor could stop by my house the next morning to see if he could devise a viable solution without having the glass moved. If he couldn't, then I wanted Delta to move the glass where I had instructed. Tamara was cordial and understanding. Within 5 minutes, however, I receive another call from Delta. I'm now in a work meeting and choose to decline the call. 10 seconds later... same thing. On the THIRD call, I step out of my meeting to answer the phone. It's Tom. Tom is abrasive and rude from the get-go. Within seconds he states it is "bullsh*t" that they provide a service for me, and I refuse to pay. It was a mob boss mentality. Don't ask questions... just demand the money. As I try to explain the situation, Tom offers up another couple gems and hangs up on me. To this point, I haven't raised my voice or even expressed frustration with their service. I understand that things happen, but I expect a professional company to work with the customer when they do. Appalled at what just unfolded, I immediately called Tom back to sort things out. While Tom isn't any more pleasant this round, he at least affords me the opportunity to complete sentences. Here's a small sampling of the high degree of rationality you'll get to enjoy in dealing with Tom: 1) if you have specific instructions on installation - even if as simple as positioning the glass flat against the wall - then you need to be present on site to supervise accordingly; 2) it's not Delta's fault if you had arrangements for someone to be on site during Delta's provided installation window and Delta shows up late. Houston has traffic, you know... 3) you're being unreasonable if you want to delay payment by 24 hours to allow time for your other contractor to see if they can cover up Delta's mistake so that they DON'T have to come back to correct it. In the end, my tile contractor found a solution, Delta didn't have to come back out to my house, and Delta received full payment within 48 hours of service. One conversation with Tom, however, instantly reversed my opinion of Delta. read more

Unfortunately this company was recommended to me. I made two appointments for the same house. My first appointment no one showed, so I gave them a second chance and rescheduled for the following day. No show again! When I called to ask if they forgot about me a gentleman answered the phone. At this point I was only calling to cancel my appointment, he transferred me to a lady that I thought was going to apologize for their lack of responsibility. On 3/8/2016 Delta Glass put in a glass shower surround for me. I did my research before deciding to hire them. There were other companies just as qualified but I liked the salesman Vernon. So I went with Delta. 3 months from install I had to have a service call because the glass on the doors started rubbing the glass next to it. The hinges were tightened and I was told that it should solve the problem. 7 months later the same thing happened glass doors rubbing glass to glass. Service call and they came out and tightened hinges. Told this has never happened and that that should solve the problem. 4 months later the exact same situation. Service call and they tightened hinges and at that time was told that they MAY have to replace hinges but did not. On January 2, 2018 after 3 services calls the same situation accorded glass rubbing glass. When I called for service I was told by the owner that my warranty had expired and I would have to pay service charge of 150.00 but she'd give me a break of 125.00 and that the hinges were covered under the manufactures warranty. She was very rude and I would not even give her the one star rating for customer service. I felt that they never fixed the problem to which she replied they can't continue to work for free. I paid for a service and didn't get what I paid for to begin with, after 3 times you figure they'd just replace the hinges but after I was told I had to pay I told them to replace the hinges. I would not use them again for future service nor will I be giving them a referral. I always try to use small business but live and learn I should have gone with ShowerDoorsofHouston. read more
