Despite staying almost 800 nights at Marriott properties, I've never been compelled to leave a negative review until now. I have stayed at properties ranging from the oldest Town Place Suites to Ritz-Carlton and everything in between and have never been so disappointed in a room as I was with ours at the Delta in Menomonee Falls. 1. The carpet had actual holes in it. Not small holes, large holes that were right in the middle of the seating area and could not have been overlooked. 2. The shower was stocked with one bottle of shampoo, two bottles of conditioner, and no body wash. We found this out while my daughter was already in the shower, when we just all wanted to get clean and head to bed. 3. Despite booking the room for three people, only two wash cloths were provided. Again, this was discovered when the third person was getting into the shower. 4. The toilet paper holder was missing the little bar to hold the toilet paper so the roll was sitting on the back of the toilet. While this isn't a huge deal, these pieces are like $5 at Menards and this was clearly observed since the toilet paper roll was placed on the toilet instead. It's just not a good look. 5. There was a horrifying splatter stain on the bathroom wall under the mirror. I don't even want to think about what this could be. 6. There were stains on the wall of the entry way by the coat hooks. Again, how this was overlooked and not cleaned is unthinkable. 7. The comforter on one of the beds was yellow and clearly soiled. This was obvious since the sheets that it was sandwiched between weren't covering the long edge of the comforter. This was noticed when going to sleep so the option was to sleep without the blanket. 8. The television wouldn't work. It turned on once but showed only a blank screen. We turned it off to restart it and it wouldn't turn back on. 9. We decided to watch a movie on the iPad instead but the WiFi wouldn't work. 10. The reading lights next to the beds were so hot to the touch they were dangerous. 11. The light over the coffee machine area would turn on but provided no light at all. While some of these things could be overlooked, the entirety of the experience is concerning. These items were so painfully obvious that this is beyond a "mistake" and instead speaks to a staff who willingly chose to ignore the state of the rooms and rent them out to paying customers anyway. It's frankly disrespectful of customers to allow a property in such disrepair to be available. Not only would I never recommend this property to my worst enemy, I would gladly write a review detailing the items above to ensure that anyone looking to book is aware of the state of the rooms and willingness of staff to overlook basic upkeep. Luckily I had other things to do for my birthday and the stay at this property was not the central event as it would have completely ruined my celebration otherwise. It's worth noting that I did email the above to management upon checking out and received no response. I also replied with this feedback to the automated survey and DID receive a reply with an offer to credit 15k points to my bonvoy account, which has not happened to date. I also asked for follow up on why the regular points for my stay appear to be 1/10 what they should be and have yet to receive a response on that. read more

The lobby reeks terribly of artificial air fresheners. The girl sitting at her little front desk was crude and rude, and couldn't even wait till she was out of the driveway before lighting up her marijuana as she left for her lunch break. The deadbolt got stuck open, and instead of just telling me over the phone how to fix it (pull down on the door handle) the 'manager' was sent up, who I'd already had the misfortune of running into in the 'restaurant,' and who was every bit as unkindly as the desk clerk. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest, and there was mold all over in the shower.. and some more mold came out when I tried switching the shower head from the one on the wall to the overhead 'rain'-type one. The good things were that there was a gigantic window. It's within walking distance of a bike shop, Kwik Trip, and if you can walk about a mile, a Starbucks. Finally , the room didn't smell very bad, which was really appreciated. read more

This was a great hotel with a nice restaurant and bar. The bartender (Lamond) gave me great ideas for food and things to see in the area. The staff were friendly and they provided great customer service. The room was clean and the gym was a little bigger than most hotels in this class of hotels. They have little perks like flavor packets for your water. Overall, a solid hotel. I would stay there again. read more

Had a 3-night stay here. The hotel looks updated and clean. Rooms and beds were generally comfortable. Did not receive room service. Not that it was needed for the short stay, but uncertain if it was available. The television had a good set of channels and streaming services and the menu was functional and intuitive. The WiFi did not work well and there were no instructions on use. I've use WiFi at other Marriott properties and did not have this problem. Given the proximity to the highway, highway noise can be intrusive at night (perhaps less so in rooms not directly facing the highway). read more

Great service all around. From the front desk,bar,waitstaff no complaints. Was told to try the chefs barbecued ribs an appetizer ordered 2 orders and then ordered 2 more for later. Excellent coleslaw was really good also. I like the fact they had a small menu. Not a million things on it makes choosing something easier. the breakfast was excellent.Rooms were clean the beds were so comfortable. Check out time is noon, that's unheard of. I don't really write the reviews but this place deserves 5 stars. I will book Another stay here at some point.. read more

My grandmother recently passed and like most funerals we were in a rush to find a location to host the memorial reception. The employee that we worked with, although pleasant made it know we were a last priority. Several emails not replied to, calls not returned, everything was EXTREMELY last minute. I work in an industry where all communications are dependent on emails so I understand the 24 hour turnaround, however, this was not the case, I literally had to chase the event host down for confirmations and replies. With everything involved in what it takes to plan a funeral this type of treatment was beyond frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone to save them from the stress and frustration I unfortunately had to endure. read more

Traveled to Wisconsin for training with my employers. They booked me at the Delta. The gentleman behind the bar, Lemmon was the highlight of my stay. Personable, attentive, and gracious. The food was exceptional as was the service. I'd recommend you visit Lemmon and experience world class service. read more

Okay- so this is a mixed review. I'll start with the negatives and bleed into the constructive feedback. Oh the wifi... it's no existent and I have AT&T for my carrier, I couldn't get a signal in my room unless I stood outside or possibly by the window. Don't stay on the first floor! The pipes run through the walls and every 15-20 minutes you hear the water moving. It's like a loud gush of water. We didn't think much of it until it was time to go to sleep. In addition, our room was right against the highway. Again we didn't think much of it until we were trying to sleep. The shower heads are rain head that drop perpendicular to the floor. So if you only want to wash your body you have to be pretty flexible to keep your hair dry. The pillows are all feather down. Not my favorite but there are 4 on each bed. But other than that, the space was clean. The employees were nice. I'd stay here again on a higher floor with my own pillow. read more

I had never stayed in a Delta by Marriott prior to now. The hotel felt like a regular full service Marriott -- but scaled down a bit. They have a restaurant, coffee shop, gym, and pool. All were acceptable. But, the room itself felt very cramped. In particular, the bathroom didn't have enough counter or shelf space. Also, the wifi never worked and there was no free bottled water (as they claim). Fitness center was pretty good. It had all new equipment and weights. But, they placed the pull-up bar right next to the ceiling, rendering it unusable. The hotel grounds were also a little weird. There was always a bunch of people loitering around. On July 4th, a group of men sat in the pool area with a keg of beer inside a trash can. They drank and smoke (blowing smoke outside the exterior door). Given their lack of concern about violating the hotel rules, I wouldn't be surprised if they were friends with someone working there. Anyway, the hotel was "decent." If I was passing through as a business traveler, I might consider it because of the fitness center and location. But, for leisure purposes, I probably won't be back. read more

Newly remodeled property just a few minutes away from Germantown. I've stayed in hotel when it was a Radisson property. The new design has a more cozy feel and nice departure from the previous color scheme. Check-in: This was a simple process and took less than five minutes. The front desk staff was efficient and even over the list of available amenities. They even acknowledged my Bonvoy Membership. Room: The room was immaculate! The bathroom was definitely refreshed and the toiletries were well stocked. The linens were absolutely clean and not a single spot of dust on any counters. Other things: There's a restaurant and coffee bar on the ground level. The lobby was bright and the large windows adds a feeling of spaciousness. Pricing was reasonable for the area. Overall, great remodel and refresh. read more

When we arrived to the hotel (after our check in time) we were told our room still wasn't ready. The general manager assured us that we would have the room soon and also gave us a discount on our stay. Clean room, good size, a bit noisy because it is so close to the road. read more

This "hotel" is just not set up to operate like a real establishment. Don't let the Marriott name and modern facade fool you. Also, it's right off a freeway and the noise is non stop. There are no restaurants nearby and the restaurant onsite is understaffed and the food selection is very limited. The only kind and professional hotel experience I received was from Megan who manages the morning breakfast area. She was great! So nice and helpful. Everyone else just seemed to be going through the motions. Tonight I went by the front desk to buy a few snacks. I used my credit card only to learn that they are not set up to give me a receipt. I then asked for a refund and was told they were not set up for that either. All this after the person at the front desk took a long time figuring out what my purchases cost and then trying to enter it on the register. Okay...so I'm being picky. Regardless, this was just one more issue at a "hotel" I will never stay at again. read more

If it were any closer to the interstate I believe I would be sleeping in the actual median.. Bring earplugs for your own sanity. And while you are at it bring your own travel pillow. I was in a double bed room and a total of 8 pilllows in the room were horrendous to put it nicely. And the mattresses were hard as rocks and not so good.. Nowhere near much of anything on convenience stores or even a gas stations or drugstores, let alone restaurants.. it's Uber or plan to jump it a great distance.... Great access to an extremely loud interstate if that's you're bag.. definitely was not mine.. Honestly the bar was the only salvo, but that's not enough ma... send it back... read more

Stayed here on a recent business trip to Milwaukee. Nice hotel in a renovated building. Very clean and well kept, the rooms are nice enough. The staff was very friendly and the check-in procedure was very quick and easy. We arrived rather late, and sadly it was at the exact time they had closed the kitchen, so after a very long flight day I was not able to grab a bite to eat before heading to my room. As stated, the room was very nice and clean. Everything looked very fresh and well appointed. I will say, my heater/ac unit was rather noisy and every time it clicked on during the night it was loud enough to wake me. I will note that I tend to be a light sleeper, but still. They said that they offered free wifi, but I was never able to actually get it to "work". I was able to connect to it, but it acted like it simply had no connection and I could not bring up any web pages in a browser or receive/send any emails. A couple others in our group also said the same thing. So while they technically had "free wifi", it didn't "do" anything. Hopefully they get that remedied. I'll review the lobby restaurant separately. But overall this was a good experience and I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future. read more

Wow! What a beautiful space! My husband and I chose this hotel for our wedding weekend, and it completely surpassed all of our expectations! Every single staff member, from the front desk, to the bar, to the coffee shop, the cleaning crew, the management, EVERYONE was so friendly and kind to each and every one of our guests. Darcy helped us block off rooms for our wedding guests and made it the absolute best weekend for us. She wrote us an adorable note and left sandwiches, chips, and waters in our room for us to enjoy when we arrived back at the hotel post wedding night... She is truly the sweetest! We were also welcomed with an adorable sign showcasing our wedding details for all of our guests! The rooms were a great size, the beds were comfy, and everything was very clean and tidy! We are over the moon happy with how well our stay went and we HIGHLY recommend staying here. Thank you Delta Hotels Northwest and staff! :) read more

Don't go to this hotel. It is dirty, unfriendly, and not up to fire code. I was there last weekend and the power went out for over 12 hours , the emergency lights didn't even work. Talk about being disappointed read more
