If I could give 0 stars, I would. So disappointed in the quality of care and the administration at Delta Retirement Center. They have such a large turnover of staff/help and provide minimal if any training for them, therefore leaving the residents with long waits and wrong medications. The Director, Michelle, is untrustworthy, unwilling to assist and becomes very defensive when approached with concerns -- it is not a wonder there are so many vacancies there. read more

The best place to live. They care for my mom and sister like Family!! . So many activities-Bingo, card games, crafts, nails painted Free, Beauty Salon on sight. Music performances weekly. Church services Sunday. The food is delicious. 24 Care for my mom. The office personnel is fabulous- always there when I needed anything especially Kelly. The caregivers are kind and sweet and really do care about the people living there. Highly recommend Delta Retirement Center. I have peace of mind my Mom & Sister are safe, happy and well taken care of all the Time! read more

We recently visited some friends that moved to Delta. It was great to hear that they love it here and feel they made the right choice by moving. We should have known how great it was when the first thing we saw upon entering the building was everyone enjoying the musical performance, singing, and dancing. All the staff is welcoming, friendly, and eager to help us navigate the place. Our friends feel so much better knowing they have someone available to help them any time of the day with a button press of a button. It eases our hearts knowing they have found such a wonderful place to call home. Great job Delta Retirement Center! read more

I go to this business several times a week and this is the first thing you see. Well, I was real hesitant about saying something, cause people don't take things well and get on the defensive. I wasn't proven wrong. I said something to the young gal that cleans at 8am in the lobby, I was sugary sweet, told her how sick some of the viruses can make people and suggested a soft scrub brush with soapy water. She just stared at me. A couple weeks later said something to some other woman, started with, sorry to bother you but blah blah, she said the doors were the original and it was the paint coming off. Yesterday I said something to the lady in the office, started with I don't want to rub you the wrong way, but the front doors, blah blah. She seemed irritated, said thousands come through the door every day, and she would say something to housekeeping. So yesterday someone went in and got the company that I work for, their card, from my 97 year elderly guy. I am an aid. Today when I was with him, some woman came and got me, as we walked to the front door she was saying it is the paint, and I said okay, let's agree to disagree, as I scraped crud on my fingernail, she said please don't do that your scraping off the paint. She said I hear you've spoken to others, and I replied yes, and I was sugary sweet. She says that's not what I was told, I was told you were nasty. What a blantant lie. I cannot believe something as important as cleaning door handles in a retirement community they make into a attack on the person who is trying to get it cleaned. read more

In response to the review posted by Caryn W., please know this was only HER opinion and has no basis in fact. She used to work as a companion aid for my father at Delta. I told her several times if she had a complaint, she was to speak with as Delta did not work for her. She obviously ignored me. I confronted her today (05-17-18) about her review and all she would say was "I don't lie." She was wrong. Simple as that. When it happened much earlier this spring, the manager at Delta told me about it and showed me what Caryn said was dirt. It was paint, an interim solution to replacing door handles on egress doors. I realized every one is entitled to his/her own opinion but not if it has the potential to hurt someone else.
