I arrived early and was offered tea, coffee, or water while I waited. I was given freedom to look around the facility while I waited if I was interested in doing so. I found myself drawn to this really fun finch enclosure where you can watch the birds play. It was in the library and board game area. The facility was bright, well lit, clean, smelled great and marked with directional signs everywhere. When my scheduled time arrived for my tour I was greeted by Kristin with smiles and a welcoming handshake. She was very knowledgeable on the property and provided me with physical informational documents to take as well as information during our tour. Both the studio and one bedroom were in great condition. I appreciated that the balconies were cement not wood so it provided a safer more sturdy feeling. The dinning hall was also very impressive. The room itself had high ceilings with great architecture. Overall great trip and lots to think about.

COVID was a huge challenge and it was well managed. The communication with the families is great. Of course there are staffing challenges as there is everywhere in health care.
