The new owner Becky was super accommodating on my last minute call. I was enjoying a beverage at a local restaurant bar on the Delta called Guisti's. Wednesday is lobster night and Thursday night is Italian night. It's one backroad back to the Barlett Inn after a hint from the bartender. The Inn has several rooms and one at least with a private bathroom. I took the purple room with a comfortable queen bed. There was also a vanity and sink beautifully decorated. For a mid week price in the off-season of $84!!! Sweet ! There's a few small markets and shops in walking distance too. Another local bar called Tony's is just down the block from the Bartlett Inn. There is WiFi which is key! In addition, there is a common kitchen and living room. There's a lot of room with a hallway bathroom on both floors. Keep up the hard work Becky, and thanks for making me coffee in the morning!!! 5 Stars from Phish!

Rebecca puts out a nice continental breakfast, but isn't there to cook or serve anything for you. Not a problem for us, and she did clarify that beforehand. We came in the off season, so we had the place to ourselves. That said, the place is so nicely decorated, and very clean. Our room had a private bath and a cute little balcony overlooking the street. The neighborhood, while not "scary", is certainly not upscale. Working class families for sure, but everyone was friendly. Walnut Grove, and the delta in general, and dealing with a struggling economy, so just know that going in. But The Bartlett makes a great home base for touring around the area, and Rebecca was quick with lots of great recommendations for restaurants and such.

You can fish just few steps away, and there is mail and a little store.
