We had an absolutley wonderful weekend at the Delta River House and would highly recommend it for family reunions (which is what we had) or small parties. It is right next to Moore's Riverboat restaurant which made for a fun night of partying and dancing to live music. I believe the house is under new management because we had NONE of the issues mentioned below. The house manager was extremely attentive and the house itself was in great shape and beautifully decorated. Spent our final day relaxing by the pool (and tending hangovers) while watching delta boaters go by on the river. All in all, a wonderful family reunion at a wonderful place!! read more

I've been in this River house to visit a friend who held a meeting there. It's a beautiful atmosphere and has allot of space to serve your guests! They give you your own boat dock if you have a yacht and there is a swimming pool that looks over the California Delta. Very nice facility! read more

AWFUL experience here!!! We rented this house for a four day weekend getaway with relatives. After making dinner on the second night for a total of 14 people (mind you the property is advertised for weddings with a 50 person limit ) the entire sewer system shut down and flooded the entire bottom floor of the house (with CRAP flowing everywhere - NOT OURS - we JUST got there!!). We immediately contacted the propery management who said, no problem they would take care of it right away. Hours later, we are still waiting....so due to the health hazard of CRAP everywhere we decided to vacate. We tried to clean and mop it up before leaving because that is the nice thing to do, while waiting on the plumber who still hasn't shown up... None of the toilets, showers, sinks were working so we finally had to leave. On the drive home, the plumber calls and says this happens all the time to houses on the delta. After everything we went through and a ruined weekend later, the owners refused to return any of our money. We had to take them to small claims court after fighting them about doing the right thing and only got a small portion back. I would NOT recommend this place for any weddings or get togethers, who wants this to happen at any function? It's also very overpriced and the property is pretty beat up. read more

We have stayed at the Delta River House for the past several years for a week in July. Location, location, location is only thing that keeps us coming back. Every year we have to call out an AC repair man because the AC is not working when we get there mid summer. Top floor seems to never get cool. The kitchen appliances, dishes, etc. are never cleaned thoroughly. Kitchen necessities are very limited and continue to get worse over the years. But with that said, it IS a very fun location including the Riverboat Restaurant next door for some fun dancing intertainment on the weekends. It is open water from the dock which is great. Some places we've stayed it's 5 mile an hour for days! Unfortunately the owner is clearly NOT taking care of this property. It's a shame, it could be so awesome. We've never had the plumbing problem as memtioned in the other review, but that would be the shits...no pun intended. read more
