My husband and I was invited to come stay here at Delta Shores resorts & marina, We were blessed to come in contact with Lynn from the moment we met he made us feel so welcome and at ease. He took us for a small little trip around the resort so that we would be familiar giving us the option to choose the location we would like camp in It was nothing like a pushy, salesman Lynn made us feel right at home, we became fast friends, joking, and sharing our food with him. He gave us the option during our four day. Stay to come speak with him in regards to the membership that is offered at Delta shores I love that flexibility again, we don't like pushy salesman so needless to say my husband and I are proud to mention Lynn and his staff. We will shout from the rooftops to everyone we know about this wonderful resort. We recently purchased our travel trailer and could not afford to spend a great amount of money to be staying at different locations. He offered us an option we could not refuse. We have recently retired, have been Camping for two weeks at a time. Now this can be beneficial for us with Lynn's help we are happy he made this happen for us. Stayed here for a free stay to see if we wanted to purchase a membership. Lynn was here to assist us and he sure does take care of his guests! There are two beautiful cabins you can rent, one even has the handicapp rant. The grounds are very clean. Easy to park on the grass or gravel in our 40 foot fifth wheel. I really enjoyed my stay. Saw a few families outside playing mini gold and guests in the pool. Everyone was friendly. You cannot go wrong visiting this beautiful location. Even a fishing/boat pier across the street. Tonight is my last night here and I could easily stay another week if my husband did not have to work. read more

Nice Place to just chill and rest. The grandkids love the open space to play around. And it's quiet place.

Came down here to check them out because it was the other vista resorts home away location (other one is canyon creek). This place was a much different scene and atmosphere then their sister location, it's a tad outdated but I know there slowly doing renovations. They just finished the men's and woman's bathrooms and shower area. The people who work there are nice and friendly. They have a good decent amount of space but only a handful of fhu with 50 Amps. We got there we checked in and they had someone in the office take hubby around with a golf cart to find a spot that can fit our 37.5 ft rv, which was super awesome of them because trying to find a spot while driving a 37.5 ft rv isn't fun if the space is tight (example of lake minden). We had 2 spots to pick from but we didn't go with ether while driving around to look at the spots again but we end up finding spot 21. The property it's self is surrounded by a lot of very large fields but there's also the Delta nearby where you can go fishing. Beautiful sunsets there and yes they allow wood fire pits there but it has to be off the ground. They have a wifi, little mini market, mini putt course, basketball court, children's playground, little cottages you can rent, fishing dock, pool, spa and on Saturdays & Sunday's they do breakfast at the main building just bring ur own plate and they have a $6 breakfast menu that they serve there. My only complaint is the deep pot holes in the grassy area is super dangerous when the grass is that high. I didn't see one and I stepped into one and almost rolled my ankle. But overall it isn't a bad place to bring the family. read more

Great way to beat the heat! Went with a friend for a sailing lesson yesterday and head a lot of fun. We rented a boat and set sail along the shores! There's something along the water that always has a calming affect on people's souls and I definitely felt it here! I had fun taking the boat out to different little coves and learning how to navigate along the delta! I will defiantly be back for more lessons and find sailing to be a relaxing way to spend the day! I highly recommend the delta sailing school to anyone who is looking to learn to get out and get that sail up! I had a blast! It truly was a great experience! read more

Really disappointed!!! Boat dock has no locks on the gate , boats are and will get broken into if left over night . The biggest part of the camp ground is being taken up by people living in their motor homes ( back section past the dumpsters ) . The sites have over grown grass and weeds , none of them look level ... VERY run down ,,,, But ,, the staff was very friendly, and the bathrooms was very clean . No store to speak of , this place doesn't offer much . Hopefully they can make some upgrades ,,, other wise this will not be on our go to spots .. read more

I started staying here since last night but it looks very nice. Lynn is very nice and helpful. I like what I see here so far.

They have a BBQ grills Zilla there since December 2021. This is the dirtiest, greesy black bbw I've ever seen since 1965. The chicken was so black like all the old greese off the grill stuck to it. You could taste some seasoning on the meat but mainly tasting dirt. $30 what a waste. That pits sits out there collecting all types of particles. The meat tasted the same bbq sauce to hot. It was just a mess. I been living at Delta Resort & Marina since 7/2021 I've enjoyed everything except that dirty bbq I paid $30 for believe me I'm a cook. I'm sick at the stomach texting thinking about that meal. Potato salad soggy the beans alright but that chicken tasted like dirt read more

Place has made major upgrades to the campsites in recent years. Clean large bathrooms. No Wi-Fi unless you're in the clubhouse only. Power hookups and all other connections work well. Good place to relax as there are few amenities to this place. No trails to walk or bike riding area either. read more

My husband and I stayed here as a referral from a family membership over Labor Day weekend. Lynn was our sales rep/tour guide, he was very helpful, kind, accommodating and professional. He didn't pressure us into buying into a membership which is always appreciated and makes the experience so much better. He made the tour fun and welcoming. So we got our RPI membership about two months ago and just recently had the opportunity to stop by Delta Shores and check it out. Our Home resorts are delta Shores and Canyon Creek. We already checked out Canyon Creek Rsrt and love it! People do not live there and it's very well run and clean. I must say I was very disappointed with Delta Shores, not at all what it appeared to be on their web site. You need to see it in person . This is an RV park where many people live. Tweeker kind of people. I would be afraid to leave anything out overnight in fear something might get stolen. I did not get a good feeling while checking this place out and will not be staying here. We took a cruise on down the road to lighthouse Marina RV resort. There were a few permanent residents but it was very well-kept grounds, no run down, broken down cars parked randomly like Delta Shores. It has a nice-well heated pool, a general store and nicely shaded spots with full hook ups. You just felt comfortable and safe cruising through it. Their cabins are very pretty and well-kept as well. Again we're pretty bummed out and disappointed. I just want to recommend if you're considering an RPI membership it's a good idea to first see your home spots in person before you make a decision. Please take a drive to this resort and see for yourself. Update: Dear Owner, thank you for taking the time to reply. Glad to hear your working on cleaning up your resort. I have to say though I prefer to camp at resorts that don't have a need for security. If a resort has security it usually implies there's a need. We also were excited to know there was a restaurant nearby on the water, we checked out the restaurant across the road (it was 10:00 am), the deck looked so disheveled, chairs all scattered, cigarette butts' all over, half drank cocktails and beer bottles laying around and full ash trays. Like there was a party that no one bothered to clean up. Can just imagine how the kitchen looks No thank you! Until you get rid of that "camping in a trailer park" feeling, we won't be staying. Privileges privileges, some people think they are so privileged it makes me sick to my stomach. I've became a member in 2021. So I've been in and out of this location quite often. The staff all the staff members from the security guards to the members working in the office. They all seem to break the rules they put out. I've heard them loud on a bullhorn slow down 5 miles. Yet they all run around all day on golf carts speeding, the residents in the back ride electric scooter and bikes even dirt bikes around at least 8 to 12 miles like it's nothing. There is an older lady working in the office that seems to be very strict with me on inside and outside parking. Yet she works in the office Cindy who also rides a golf cart from the back and takes up the handicapped parking without a placement card for disabled. She's there from the time she starts work until she off. Taking up a handicap parking stall right next to the office door and mail boxes. I'm always harassed. One morning the office called me saying they got a complaint about my dogs parking all night. Mind you I've never owned a dog in my life. Nor have I brought one on their property. After telling them it wasn't me she ask could I me myself not employed by them to look on their truck to see who they were. After telling me no one was next to me. This truck has been in a vacant stall all day no one has said anything. I was going to upload the photo but I decided not to expose the people that's doing i. So of these people are nice some are bullies. read more

So this RV park is quiet and simple. We arrived late at night and were greeted at the gate with the security guard who kindly escorted us into our spot. The girls in the office were so friendly. Dirt roads and shaded. The exercise room is in need of some TLC. No pool, no hot tub. Clubhouse is ok. Pool table, comfy couch, old videos, ect. The best thing of being here is close to the "Riverboat Resturant" down the road. Taco Tuesdays (all u can Eat) We went to the Thursday $3.00 burgers, $1.00 fries & no drinks over $5.00. Bacon cheeseburger $3.00, Fries $1.00, Long island $5.00. Really but kicking drink! read more

Delta Shores is really coming up in the world. The absolute best breakfast we've ever had. Their motto is if you leave hungry, it's your own fault. They are doing activities, bingo, paint and sip. The ones doing this now are totally experienced in the breakfast, and working on making events great. They love being members themselves, and are trying to make this park better for all. read more

Site need to be leveled so bad.. we had to try 4 spots before our RV jacks would work... at one spot I had 8 blocks high on one side and our jacks still wouldn't level ... on our second day we noticed that our left side jacks were sinking into the grass and soft ground staff was very friendly but this place needs some serious work on the sites to level them. read more

We have been going to this campground for years and last week was horrible. Staff and members were walking around the campground without masks on, especially during a pandemic. We set up our trailer and we set up our clam behind our trailer. After returning from lunch, security guard approached my husband without a mask on and asked him to take down the clam. He said he would and asked if masks were required. Security guard said,"No and I am vaccinated." My husband took down the clam and the security came back, this time with a mask on, and proceeded to give us a copy of member handbook with the rules we did not follow highlighted, which we understood. The problem was he was enforcing only some of the rules because we saw 5 other trailers who did the same thing we did. We promptly packed our trailer and left. We cancelled our membership immediately. read more

Boat dock was claimed that it was new. Except only the wood walkway is new and large metal framing is protruding out from dock from where former slips broke off ready to take a nasty bite out of your new boat. No warnings or signage to avoid the outer side of dock. No rubber bummer area either. Advertised as RV resort and denied that the back half is merely a trailer park of full timers. Said they would take care of our damage and now denying their responsibility! Want to sell you membership like Thousand Trails...but so not worth the $$$! Avoid this place! read more

I really enjoyed my time out at Delta Shores it's quiet and peaceful, some of the best sunsets you'll ever see, and very friendly people. No it's not the top RV resort of California, but it has the basic amenities that you would expect to find at a RV resort. I don't stay out here for the amenities of the RV resort it's self I stay out here because I love being on the water and having a private dock to launch a kayak or boat from is super convenient. Yes the sites tend to be a little uneven so bring your leveling gear, and always make sure that you have your surge protector with you in the summer months. Being in a rural area means the power sometime surges when you have a lot of RVs running AC is on the hot days. other than that it's a great place to get away from the busy city life and just enjoy the birds. I have to say I am very impressed with Delta Shores. It has been quite awhile since we have been there and it really has been cleaned up and looks great! The back area used to be really junky and those that lived there full time didn't seem to take care of their places. They certainly do now and those that we encountered all seemed very nice It is so peaceful here and the grounds are well taken care of. The office has moved across the driveway and looks nice. I didn't go into the women's restrooms but my husband said the mens' restroom had been redone and is really nice. I love that the boatdock, across the road, is very sturdy and that there is enough room to just go sit on it if you wish to do so. The staff is really nice and Toby was really helpful! This place has a total different vibe than Canyon Creek and I really do like it here at Delta Shores. Sure glad we gave it a second chance. We are currently full-timing until we find a city where we want to purchase our next home. It is true that there are some uneven grounds but once you are aware of that, you just need to be careful. We have verizon so the wifi works great (not so much with AT&T). I see us staying here quite a bit in the future. Thank you DS for really stepping up! We really like it here! read more

Spending 11 days here enjoying the Delta area and the relaxing time away. Delta Shores has a pool that is very nice, a hot tub (I didn't try it, too hot for it). There is a miniature golf course, clean (new) restrooms with showers & a laundry. Leashed pets are allowed. No store (inconvenient). Lovely hot days and a breeze, and wind from the West breaks the heat. The only REAL problem I have is with their WiFi access - $6 a day or $17 for the week. I paid for the week on an open WiFi but I was only able to access it 4 days of the 7. They said it is not "theirs" but as they give you the access - I think they should be responsible for providing what was paid for. read more

Management is never to be found. Electric and water seem to have issues as they are constantly down. They say power is due to pge but pge site does not show an outtage in the area. Not sure what the watwr issue stems ftom, but if utilities are off, what is the sense of staying in a camp ground? Ground facilities are out dated. A few problems with this place. 1. Internet Ad is full of mis leading truths The gym is a treadmill in the laundry room. 2. The hot tub wasn't open for a week because they didn't have a test kit, Then you had to give them an hour notice for to heat up if you wanted to us it. I finally asked on day 3-4..... wasn't open because it needed a cleaning..... I quit asking .... still closed the day I left. 3. Guy in the terrible blue truck. From the aggressive body language I assume he is the owner.... (or wants to be) Came up screaming while slamming on his breaks .... saying the speed limit is 5 mph..... We didn't peel out may of been doing 7-9 at the max... Which apparently means blue truck has the right to dangerously speed after you .... and cause a small public scene. Throw up dust everywhere. (Every Avid campers Dream) I'm a relaxed/nice guy who travels a fair amount. I can admit when I'm wrong which happens.... may have been a tad over....but Not enough for such an irate and over the top performance. He approaches someone else like he did my family on a weekend evening, who was a drinker. (Which I'm not a big fan of maybe when I was younger) I'm worried there will be a physical altercation with this man. The way he pulls up on people, put me on edge, the body language alone before anything was said (Very threatening and unpleasant). (No logo on the truck) Most of the workers were very nice, place could definitely use some work in the management/ hospitality department. Maybe update the website accurately I will not be back and would not recommend it. Nicer parks with honest online ads in the area. I do a fair amount of public speaking now in clubs/bars... I've seen that same attitude start Many a pointless Fights on the road. Little kindness and honesty goes along way in my book. Which the Blue Truck Bandito had neither. This is my 1st review ever , only because I'm worried this old man is going to approach someone else like he did my family. With the end result being much different. (Was 2 stars until someone stuck their nose in, had to rethink how poor the experience really played out.) Plenty of Rv/Camper places in the area. Try your luck else where. read more

I am unsure why this place has mixed reviews. We had a great time! I am wiring this review as a young family with three small children ages 1, 4, and 5 who are new to RV'ing. We stood over Valentines/Super bowl weekend and the resort had plenty of places to choose from to set up our 30ft. trailer. We ended up getting a great corner spot that had tons of area for the kids to run around and we had no one on either side of us and the way our trailer faced away made us feel like we had our privacy. Overall, the campground was very quiet our entire stay. This place did not have a party vibe and was family friendly (although we do enjoy a good time). We were nervous about the drive in when we read the reviews about a steep drive in but honestly, it didn't feel like much to us and we had no issues whatsoever, nor did we find it challenging. As soon as we arrived, which was late around 7pm, we were greeted by really friendly staff and the entire staff was very friendly to us our entire stay. My favorite part of this campground is that there is nice grass everywhere. You are not parking on dirt. Yes, there are some holes, but what do you expect? You're camping. There is a small playground, a cool tree with a bridge over it for the kids to climb, mini golf, and the pool. The pool wasn't even open because it was too early in the year but we felt as though we had more than enough to do while we were there. The kids rode their bikes and go-karts safely on the gravel paths as we visited the playground and mini golf. No, there is not a water view, but its just across the levy road which was no big deal for my husband to take the kids fishing right off the dock. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. Its worth it for a short trip. We only live an hour away and it was a perfect weekend get away for our family. Next time we will bring our kayaks and fire pit so we can enjoy that. We were surprised when the staff notified us that they were doing children's crafts and cookie decorating which was all complementary and we really enjoyed that. They put a lot of time into preparing the activity and decorated the lodge very nicely for the holiday. The bathrooms were like five star bathrooms for camping. Pretty much fully renovated hotel-like bathrooms. This was part of our membership and we wanted to check it out for that reason and we have decided we will definitely be back to enjoy this campground for many years to come. At check in they offered to help us back in and made sure we knew where the 50 amp sites were available. The park appears clean with a variety of open and tree covered spaces. This park is back in only so if you need a pull thru you might need to look elsewhere. Their RV spots have timber rails showing boundaries. These rails, however, can become trip hazards if your rig is not situated correctly. Also, found the grassy areas contain a great many shallow depressions (holes) that can be incredibly dangerous if you are walking fast and not paying attention. Nearly tripped and fell several times while walking my dog. Also, the spot we had, and I noticed several others, had a sewer connection that was several inches higher that ground level. This resort also says it has a marina...still not open as of June 2014...and there doesn't appear to be any maintenance or reconstructing on the piers...so, no fishing or boating on the piers. You can fish off the banks however. The staff seemed friendly and helpful with the exception of the female manager, she was distinctly unhelpful. By the way, the WiFi is not free and you have to ask for access and pay $5 a day. read more

Best gem on the delta.... Debi saved our trip. We had checked in at another very less desirable location and were miserable! We stopped in on the 3rd of July sure she would be booked up. Debi told us to go get our trailer she had a spot for us. I have never packed it down so fast in my life. The park is great... lots of shade and grass! Everyone has been great! I couldn't be happier!
