First time we stayed here as we used out points for a complementary stay…read more Clean and tidy room. A bit dated but the bed was comfortable. I would think that this Inn would be scheduled for an update in the rooms. Only one USB hub located on the desk. Carpet was ready to be replaced. Like I said it was clean , comfortable and did the job. They do have a breakfast buffet that is complementary with your stay. They served scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, juices, coffee, and of course waffles. The staff was friendly when engaged. Overall this was ok, even great for a complementary stay.

I will state the -1st and then the positive. I called ahead of time because I have been having G.I…read more issues and I wanted to make sure that this hotel offered prepared oatmeal in the mornings. I was assured that they did only to find out that they cook the oatmeal in plastic, with a liner in the kettle for convenience reasons after the first morning I asked the front desk if they could make a request to the kitchen staff to remove the plastic and allow the kettle to do its job without injecting micro plastics into what should be a healthy breakfast. My request was denied as the kitchen staff refused to wash one more dish. Completely unbelievable. My next go to was the common known for hard-boiled eggs that Hampton in offers. But in this case, they aren't the legitimate shelled hard-boiled eggs, they offered the eggs soaked in some kind of formaldehyde again in the name of convenience for the staff. Ultimately the free breakfast here was not a breakfast at all, and I ended up spending money the entire week to eat in the morning because this management refused to consider their guests. The positive, the rooms were clean the water was hot and the pressure was good. I will never stay here again and don't recommend it, there are multiple other hotels in the area. I would recommend trying them first.

When we came in, there was no one to greet us. The lady who came to the desk had a face that said we interrupted her. The room is decent. The breakfast situation was sad. Everything is a la carte. No customers appeared to enjoy the selections. I have never been to a hotel without complimentary coffee or tea. The pool is closed. We were told we could walk across the parking lot to use the pool but not to eat. We were told of complimentary breakfast when we did the reservation. We will let them know that we received erroneous info and that was a big deal for the size party we had. We were forced to coordinate breakfast for 10.

That's very unfortunate but anyway room itself was OK pretty nice but the shower unfortunately would not drain so there was water just flowing everywhere onto the bathroom floor and everything and I told him about that and they apologized a nice day with a much nicer woman was there and they gave us a free bottle of water because of the shower not draining. They also did not have coffee or breakfast ready so this is not a very good stay to be Honest and that's unfortunate but you know sometimes it's hit or miss I guess

My husband chose to treat me to a night in the Jamaican Suite for our wedding anniversary. The…read moretheme is apparently "straw market wall decor" because the paintings don't seem consistent in style or color scheme. Before anyone gets their knickers in a wad, I have worked in hotel housekeeping, and I have run a profitable business, and I completely understand the challenges of this past year of COVID. You walk in and the smell of weed overpowers you. You barely notice the room because of it. You have a small kitchen area, a living room area, a door that goes out to a patio, a decent-sized bathroom, a heart-shaped jacuzzi tub, and a bed surrounded by mirrors. OK. 1979's meets island living. Got it. The fridge is clean but the freezer compartment needs defrosting. Only here for the night, nothing we need to put in either. The living room couch has a giant tear at the armrest, like, baby's-head-size giant... There are switches for the gas fireplace but neither one does anything. We tried several different combinations of other unmarked switches, in case the power had to run through something else to be on. No luck. The TV is smallish (32") and the hotel had not set it up properly so no matter what you watch, you have the store-demo-mode thing floating at the side to tell you which make and model the TV is. The bathroom is poorly lit (burned out bulb) and there is no way to turn on the vent fan, so I opted against getting down on my knees to scrape at what I hope is just dirt in the grout, the shower door tracks, and the union of tile and wall. It needs a spray of bleach and a scrub-brush. There is a landline phone in the bathroom that has a lot of stains on it. Was someone killed in that bathroom? Maybe there is a podcast that can answer that. But at the very least, you would think they could replace the very dark, discolored cord... Shower water pressure is not good, and the fact that they installed a tub faucet as a sink faucet (which gets GREAT water pressure) suggests they could fix the shower pressure with a different (or clean) shower head. The hot tub, well, it was the only reason I stayed. A little inconvenient that the switch for the jets is 10' away and you have to get out before you can turn them on/off, but, it was clean and it was nice to have a long soak. The bed was standard, on the firm side, with very flat pillows. We checked it for bugs before getting in, and noticed that the sheets and cover had small burns but nothing drastic. Comforter over the top had a 2'long tear in a seam at the side of the bed, but we don't use those in hotels as they are infrequently washed even in the best of times. There is a bracket mounted to the ceiling between the bed and the jacuzzi tub where there SHOULD have been a smoke alarm, but no evidence that the hotel is aware of the law requiring them. At 4AM, someone's car alarm went off and then the heavy bass of rap music was playing until 6 AM. I was beginning to suspect it was an "after-party" from the nearby strip club, because it was in the "themed suites" area and the two cars I could see from our window were relatively late-model, and I saw 3 different girls go into a room. I do not recommend staying here in the future. I have heard it used to be very nice, but that a change of ownership happened and all of the issues such as fans, lights, etc, are being left unattended.

Pubic hair all over the bed, cigarette burns in everything possible. Hot tub had almost no jets and was not good at all. The fan above hot tub was damaged and rattled to loud all night we couldn't even hear each other talk. Sounded like a freight train. I called front desk to get it turned off they refused. Half the lights didn't work. Drug paraphernalia in the cabinet. Just a terrible experience. We used the Valentine Suite a few years back. Was much nicer but still trashy. Not worth the money at all. Don't forget the dead bugs all over. Total shithole. Dissatisfied as we could possibly be. Skip this place unless you're a drug addict or hooker.

We were only here for one night,…read moreand it was really less than 12 hours; We saw Lindsey Stirling in concert across town and I chose this hotel because I was halfway between Centennial Terrace, the concert venue, and Toledo Zoo, where we were headed the next day. We are also both IHG members and were able to use points to book. I asked when the hotel had opened and the front desk person said probably around 2015. When we booked with points it didn't let us select a king room so we chose standard room; This ended up being a room with two queen beds and it was actually hearing accessible, which was interesting. I've never seen that before but when someone rings the doorbell for the room, there is a light that lights up. It was the last room available for the night - there was a group of people who showed up before us and I think were only able to get one room and they needed two or something like that, but the front desk person was able to call the Hampton next door and secure a room for them. Breakfast this morning included hot options like sausages and eggs, and they even had cinnamon rolls. I had a bagel, turkey sausage, regular sausage, and apple juice. They even had Chobani yogurt which I thought was an upscale selection. The bed itself was super comfortable as well and the bathroom was large. I would stay here again when in the area.

I went down stairs and told them I need a different room, which I was told they don't have a different room. The lady was very agitated and short with me. According to the website, there was one available I could book right then. She said it would cost more. I said that's fine. A room just like my room I was in magically became avaliable, not even the one that was costing me more from online. The only other option is to go elsewhere. This was a matter of having an asthma flare or not. Since a new room magically appeared, She took me to the new room, which did not have the odor. I got moved, and the second room had a fridge that did not work and a very dirty bathroom. Since I was treated so abruptly with a rude attitude last time, I just worked around it. The walls were very dirty and there was a messy floor. The shower was functional and the toilet was fine. So I dealt with it. The only thing that was good here was there wasn't any bed bugs and the bed was comfortable. There are a lot of hotels around, pick a different one. Even if those issues existed and they were handled without the attitude, rudeness, and obvious lack of empathy , I would have a few more stars here.

What a beautiful hotel with some staff that is just as lovely. Although the front desk told us the…read moreExecutive Lounge was open and we sadly found out it won't be open until Jan 2, but that's okay! We are here for 5 nights and couldn't be more please with the room! To start we are enjoying dinner at Brim House and Emma ( our waitress) is absolutely amazing!! The bartender, Tim, also made me a special and delicious drink!! Wow! So far so good!! Especially our King corner room with the river view. Day 2, Valet service is a real shit show. Pulled our car up and didn't brush snow off, had our check out wrong, didn't leave our vehicle running, didn't give us the fob so had to go back in. For $32 a night, so far not good. Not happy. Also after we left I received a call from the hotel, the valet had lost a bottle of prescription meds & wanted to know if we could search around the drivers seat for them. So we searched the vehicle & didn't see any meds( but seriously???). Also got 3 different answers on when the Executive Lounge is open from the front desk. Apparently it will be open for breakfast on Friday the 2nd and then closed the weekend. However, Emma our waitress from the night before was our waitress for breakfast and she was fabulous! Her attention to detail and wonder personality makes her great for customer facing service. She should really be the face of the hotel! Day 3- so the valet has lost our vehicle. After telling us it wasn't put in the system correctly & also not having the correct license plate number , they told us to go to the hotel restaurant & breakfast would be on them. That is nice but we have a place to be today as we are here for a friend's wedding and we need to go to the venue for pre wedding stuff. But here we are getting breakfast because we have no vehicle! But the nice part is again, Emma our waitress at the Brimhouse in hotel and also Holly who are both very nice and wonderful. All food pics on this are from Brimhouse in hotel in lobby level. Day 4, went to check out the Executive Lounge, this is the first day we were told it would be open for breakfast and our key didn't work, again. Had to go to front desk and get our key card retapped ( again). They didn't have breakfast at all. Just snacks and a small refrigerator with water and juice. Video shows the Executive Lounge. We also found out that the lounge is only open this morning and won't be open the rest of the weekend. So basically we thought it was nice that we were getting complimentary access and really only are able to enjoy it for one time. We are Diamond with Hilton so we wanted to really see how this hotel does Executive Lounge. Let's just say it leaves a lot to be desired. Hilton lounge would not be closed this long and especially over a holiday weekend. In order to get lounge access, outside of complimentary, one has to be a Titanium level. Honestly I would be so disappointed if I was Titanium and the lounge wasn't open and the " food" was what the video shows. We are supposed to have dinner at Brim house, 6:00pm for a party of 8 people. Stay tuned. Dinner was wonderful at Brim House and Emma was absolutely perfect. Also Thea at the bar was phenomenal! Day 5, wedding day. Bride and groom and in laws arrived last night and now Brim House is hooking me up with coffee and muffins for the bridal suite. Again Brin House has made all the other hotel crazy so worth everything. Once again Emma is taking care of us and I am very appreciative and grateful. Also connected to the hotel is Barry's Bagels and they make their bagels fresh so be sure to check them out. Day 6- checking out about 7:15 am and of course the valet charge was not removed from them losing our car, so that had to be corrected. Otherwise checkout was fine and as expected. A word of caution though to always make sure charges are correct before leaving any hotel as it can be time and challenging to take care of errors after you are home. I know this was a long review but I wanted to be thorough with so much that happened.

EVERYDAY, when I would leave for work in the mornings, around 4, 4:30am, they would be in my room. I set something a certain kind of way and that way I could tell, EVERYTIME, when they were in my room. SEVERAL times when I confronted them about it, they ALWAYS used the excuse they were checking the thermostat, or the exterminator was there. I told them tha that's against the law and it's an invasion on my privacy. They were in my room more than I, and I was the one paying the rent. The ONLY thing that was good there was the porno/cable channels. Around 136 channels. Everything else is DIRTY, FILTHY, HORRIBLE, and DANGEROUS! Unsavory characters are roaming around the motel at 3am, 4am. And there are TONS of room keys out there where past customers can enter your room if they want to. They they check out of the motel, they don't turn in the room keys, and management NEVER change the locks. I had to put a chair under the door handle when I went to sleep at night. And there's noise ALMOST all the time. Either folks having sex, or knocking on the walls. And doors were ALWAYS slamming shut all hours of the night. I was in room 10. I truly believe they have hidden cameras in those rooms filming what they are not suppose to. When they have that one room open, by they office, they hurriedly block you from looking in it. I'm just guessing. There is NOTHING scenic or historic about this dump. BE FOREWARNED! STAY AWAY. THIS IS A CRACK MOTEL AND THEY DO NOT SERVE FOOD.
