Looking for a long wait and a shitty service? Look no further! My sisters and I were visiting Maine and wanted to spend a rainy morning getting our nails done which ended up into a three hour activity. We called ahead and they told us we could get an appointment in a half hour. We ended up waiting an hour once we got there for our appointment to even start. When we finally started getting a gel pedicure they cut our nails unevenly and blamed us for the clumpy polish. We originally planned on getting a mani pedi and ended up doing just a pedi due to time and looks. $160 we will never get back. read more

Great pedicure. Really did great job removing the dry skin. Pretty quick and thorough. Had disposable liners between treatments to promote sanitary practices. Even had an optional plastic shield that could be pulled down to protect if someone wanted to use it. The parking lot was much appreciated as it is a busy street and can be tough to find a spot otherwise. read more

Nice staff and friendliness of the owner is fantastic, but it doesn't make up for the quality of their work. I paid for a deluxe pedicure which included massage, a special salt scrub, paraffin dip, and the typical toe nail clean up and polish. The woman who was doing my pedicure did not seem to know exactly what she was doing and kept looking to her coworker for the next step. Massage was subpar at best. I have a lot of calluses as I walk barefoot, and she barely touched them with the loofah. Not to be explicit, but my feet need the cheese grater, if you know what I mean. Thankfully the paraffin dip helped with some of that. She did do a fabulous job with the polish. Neat and clean. On to the gel manicure. I had a man, not sure his name, do the manicure as the woman who did my pedicure stayed to do another pedicure after me. Cons: - He barely pushed back my cuticles. We're talking no pressure on the nail bed. Clean up of the cuticles was also scraggly. They looked better before I showed up for the appointment.... - Application of the gel polish was messy. All over my cuticles and surrounding skin. Which sadly was not caught prior to going under the lamp. It was a nude polish, but still. A little more care should've been paid. - He filed the tips of my nails AFTER he was done applying gel. Anyone who has dabbled in applying gel themselves knows you need to seal the tips (which he also did not do). Filing the nail after applying gel will automatically ensure that your manicure will not last. - and just on cue, a nail chipped just 4 hours after my manicure. Thankfully, in order to save some dollars, I've invested in an at home gel manicure set and put 3 coats of top coat over the chip in order to salvage the manicure. To summarize: For an hour more of my time and a lot more money in my pocket, I could've and have done, a better mani/pedi at home. There needs to be some serious focus on training, or just more care from nail techs. When you're shelling out $70 for a service you expect to be pampered and have a good, lasting end result. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I'm hoping the owner sees this and works on turning things around. read more

I've put my review on here about 6months ago for Delun Nails In Saco but I'm finding myself doing another one. I find it hard to believe anyone would habe a bad experience here. I refuse to go anywhere else and as I've said I've been getting my nails done and eyebrows waxed for 15yrs and this is by far, the best place I have ever been. HORRIBLE experience both times I have been to this place. The owner is always condescending and extremely rude to me and this last time I went in, I received the worst acrylic shellac fill I have ever had. They didn't even clean up my cuticles and the clear gel/shellac was all over them. I got no oil or lotion to put on my dry a$$ cuticles/hands afterwards but my mother in law got the works right next to me. My nails were filed extremely uneven, too. I also needed them to fix 3 toe nails that chipped from my pedicure done a week prior (in my hometown) and instead of cleaning the nail up and painting them over again like a decent nail salon would do, the lady literally just filled in the chips painting over them with the old polish still on. They then charged me $25.00 for just the "pedicure" alone which only consisted of them filling in 3 chipped toe nails and for rubbing scrub on my legs/feet. Needless to say, within a few days, 2 of my nails broke off and those chips that they lazily filled in are now chipped...again. This was the first time in my life I didn't tip a person doing my nails, and rightfully so. Even my mother in law (who is a regular here) said my nails looked better before (with the new nail growth needing to be filled) than after getting them done at this terrible nail salon. They look like I did them my darn self. I will not be returning here. What a joke LOL! read more

I know I'm spoiled coming from atlanta where I paid $10 for a manicure, $20 for pedicure and $5 for eyebrow wax, but for the price these people charg I AT THE VERY LEAST expected the same quality service. This girl only took 15 minutes to do my pedicure (iat least 45 minutes in Atlanta)' hardly any massage at all. I also wanted manicure and eyebrow wax, which most places I've been to they do manicure at same time as pedicure, but not this place, so she told me I'd have to wait another 15-20 minutes.! Horrible experience! I expressed I wanted my nails to stay square and they were already a good length didn't need filed down. They started filing them inward! I said don't do that; I just want them straight out and square. Well they ended up filing my nice length and square nails down to nothing and angled in! They then did a horrid french shellac manicure that was so uneven and just plain ugly! The white isn't even all over the tips of my nails, the clear was on my skin and they cut one of my fingers with their horrid "filing!" I tried to have it fixed, they attempted to make the white tips more even but they royally ruined my nice shape and length nails! I had even shown a nice picture of what I wanted and they couldn't even do that! Don't bother with this place! read more

I recently moved to the area and had met someone whose nails looked nice and they suggested this place. Perhaps I was a bit spoiled by my old nail salon in CT that I was incredibly loyal to for 7 years, because my experience at Deluxe nails was not great. I wanted a French gel manicure and after the tech had filed the old gel off my nails he brought out a small tub of powder. I told him this was not what I wanted and he said this was how they did French and it was "better" because I did not have to use the UV lights. I was skeptical but at this point I was already filed and in the chair. The manicure itself is fine (if you don't look at them closely), not good and the white lines are all uneven and jagged. My concern here is how unhygienic it seems, nothing came out of the sterilizer and he actually dipped each of my nails into the large tub-how many other people's nails have been in that tub!!!! I used to go 5 weeks between gel manicures and I highly doubt this will even last 2 weeks. I will not be returning and I hope that I don't get some sort of fungus. read more

Customer service is AWFUL here. I just moved to the area and needed a new nail place as I get mine done every three weeks. They were conveniently located right next to my home so I thought, perfect! First time I went it they came out.. ok.. bubbles and crooked but not so bad that I couldn't give them another change. Next time I went in I had a picture to show them what I wanted done, it was a design and I asked if they were able to do it and if not that we could do something else. They assured me they could but it was completely wrong and although they insisted they could do a flat black it ended up glossy, although disappointed in the store as soon as I stepped into the light I realized how bad it was. I went back in now mind you its already been 1.5 hrs.. the owner attempted to fix it but it looked so terrible and I didn't have time to keep having them fixed it so I left. I swore I would never go again but I was in a pinch a month later and needed them done asap and since they are the closest I bit the bullet and attempted one more time at this location. The same person who did my nails sat me down. I showed him another picture.. this time very simple and asked if it was something he could do. I specified once more no gloss and made a comment on how they were crooked before.. I still had his work on my hands so its not like I was making it up. He put my nails in acetone and left me there.. for 10 minutes He then had another person start on removing the old nails. He did one finger then left me with my fingers in acetone another 10 min. When he finally came back I told him I just wanted them removed, he said the owner could do the nails if I wanted I said no thank you and left. I assure you I will NEVER go back. I've gotten my nails done a lot and by a lot of different salons. This is THE WORST experience I have ever had. Don't waste your time and money. Called to make an appointment and couldn't understand a word the guy was saying. I kept telling him I couldn't understand him and he just kept repeating the same word. Never offered to have me speak with someone who might speak English a little better. If you are trying to grow a business, it might help to be able to communicate with your customers. I spend four months a year here and am looking for a permanent salon. These guys lost my business! read more

Used to go to Lee all the time but lately have had the worst experience! Went in today to get shellac off and a polish change and the owner did my nails. He was so rude and rushed through my nails. Continually hit me with the drill and missed spots on my nails. A simple polish change and I had to tell him 3 times he missed spots! Then after barely putting on a top coat, he pointed me in the direction of the dryer, took my money and left without helping me with my bags causing me to ruin my nails before I even left. Went there for a mani/pedi. I have never been so rushed through a place in my life! Nails were uneven, by second the day the polish was coming off on several nails!. I also have two bleeding cuticles that I didn't have before. The person doing my nails insited that I pay part way through so she could rush to another customer.The place is not very clean, they used the same soaking station for the next customer and I watched as no one went and cleaned it past the rinse she gave the tub after soaking my feet. She used the same basket of supplies! Makes me wonder how many others were done with those supplies. I will never go back. This place is not clean! read more
