Never in 20 years has this EVER happened to me anywhere but here. They also not only nipped open my cuticles but they blamed it on ME because they were dry. I have never had anyone cut a dry cuticle. It's amateur or mean. There was lotion, cuticle remover and soft buffer within reach. The cuts got infected made my fingers look bad and hurt as. Day 1 bleeding cuticles. Day 2 infected cuticles. Day 3 bandages on my fingers. Day 4 nail polish falls off - peeling and chipping. It was gel polish. Day 5 a nail fall off. Day 6 another nail breaks. I should realized this would happen when the nail tech offered to fix a nail for $5 if it chipped during the week. I thought, how silly because they never chip eat other places. Every year I give this place a chance again before tourist season. Every year it is just plain bad. They get a star for some of the staff who don't do nails. Tourists beware.

I communicated my allergies upon booking, And she Claimed to have checked all of the products to make sure there were no conflicts. Once I Drove two hours To get there, I filled out some paperwork and confirmed my allergies again. As we were getting started, she says " Let's go over the process so there are no surprises, we're going to take some pictures first, then I will draw on the eyebrows and make sure you like it." I close my eyes, then she immediately put a baby wipe on my face. That's not taking a picture. I asked her what she was doing, she said it was a baby white. I asked her if she checked the baby wipe to make sure I wasn't allergic to it, and I expected her to say that she checked it. Unfortunately, she did not, and I was allergic to it. I washed it off right away, she said we can't do it unless she can use those baby wipes, I asked if she had green soap or something that tattoo artists normally use, she ended up finding some other soap deep in a cabinet, but said she wasn't comfortable going through with the appointment after she exposed me to an allergen in case of a reaction. I can understand that. She refunded my deposit BUT: - I took the day off from work for this - I hired a dog sitter - I drove nearly 200 miles round-trip - 2 hours each direction + being there is about 5 hours of my time wasted - for the past month, I have not done my usual skincare routine in order to prepare for this appointment, and my skin has suffered for it I can't believe that a licensed professional didn't check all of the ingredients once I stated that I had an allergy.
