I think I have found my go-to nail place when I'm in St. John's. This small salon was warm and friendly. Everyone who walked in was welcomed. Of course this means that it's a favorite of locals. RJ and Solita were very sweet. RJ had lots of stories of life in general. He kept us in stitches. I walked in rather late but they closed late, 7:30pm. Solita did a great job with my pedi. They do gel, dip and regular nail services. They also do other services but you'd have to call. Call anyway since I suspect that they get booked. read more

I went last week right when they opened for a full set and pedicure. I had the owner ( I think) work on both my nails and basic pedicure. I got black French tip nails and just a basic pink toe color. I really like my nails and enjoyed the pedicure. The prices were great and the experience was wonderful. I am very happy they are so close to my house. Overall super happy with everything. Also one thing to note, is the two/three employees were really friendly and even though I had never been there before they seems like they have known me for a while. read more

I go here almost every other week for mani pedi or eyebrow wax. RJ is the owner and hilarious, articulate and highly skilled as is his wife. You can make an appointment for quicker service or walk in. I never know when I get off work so I pop in and then shop at Winn Dixie. read more

I went to deluxe nails for the first time two weeks ago with my daughters. We came here last minute because the other shop that we go to usually was closed for some reason. My first time at this nail salon and RJ the owner did my pedicure and it was extremely warm in there and ask him to turn it down and he told me it always stays at 75 all the time and never changes it so I was very uncomfortable and then his wife said I was having hot flashes which was very rude of her and no I WAS NOT! Rj got a small fan and sat it beside me on another chair!!!! I was suppose to also get a manicure but I felt uncomfortable so RJ did a pedicure and he needs to listen to his customers instead of interrupting and being very loud and for being the owner he is unprofessional! Plus they charge you a extra fee for ingrowns which is crazy! When you used your debit card they charge a fee! COULD not relax at all and just to stressful which it should not be this way!!!! read more

Not where I'll go next time. Wimpy massage and it was obvious my lady didn't care about that part (but it's my fav part ). I'd recommend calling ahead, they were so busy for a Sunday afternoon. Employees were on their phones with headphones while talking to us and with attitude. NAILS HERE DO NOT LAST!!!we complained and the lady said their regular polish only last TWO DAYS!!! They apparently have a 5 day guarantee on gel and my moms gel only lasted Two days!! and when we told her said acted like we were lying and said we came in a month ago. (Was not true) After the new lady said my nails would only last 2 days with regular polish I said I'll pass. This new guy sitting on his ass while on phone told lady not care about me and after my mom stood up to leave he said let them go.. he didn't care about us and the fact that we WERE regular customers.. point is they charge a lot and nails don't last... last time I'm coming here THE NEW PEOPLE WORKING HERE are horrible!!! It use to be a good place to go but not anymore... please go down the street we're service is good.! read more
