I asked for a quote and they hung up when I asked if it were 15 or 20$ completely unprofessional avoid at all costs

I would give zero Stars if I could. I booked a ride at 6:00 p.m. between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. I had to call five times to find out when I was going to be picked up. The owner acted very annoyed, but the first four times I called all he would say was the driver's on his way and hang up, even though I wanted to know specifically how much longer I was going to be waiting. No one books a taxi and expects to wait 1 hour for a pickup. The driver finally showed up and proceeds to tell me he just got done dealing with his girlfriend taking her some place because she's on her second DUI and doesn't have a driver's license. So, basically admitting to me why I sat and waited for 1 hour well he conducted a non-business related function. The van smells like burning oil inside and he had to stop twice to add power steering fluid, I have one point becoming unable to actually turn the wheel. He had to be given directions constantly and consistently during the ride to and from, it was a round trip and he couldn't remember how to get back to my pickup spot. I was also quoted a $15 round trip price as I was going less than 2 mi round trip. I noticed the meter was at 1284 and advised him he might want to turn it off at $15 cuz that's what I was quoted he whiplashed the van into the Marathon gas station immediately and began threatening me verbally that he wasn't going to do the ride for the $15 that normally it would be 30. I told him I didn't have $30 and I would never pay $30 to go less than three miles. I felt intimidated I felt like I was being held hostsge. After explain to me why he could not turn off the meter he told me he would do the trip for $20 and turned off the meter. I called the owner to report all this and was informed he's been doing business for 40 years and knows how to run his company and I need my mind my own f****** business. This place is the most unprofessional service I have ever in my life used in all of my 40 years of not driving. I really should have filed a police report for being held hostage and intimidation. These people are absolutely ridiculous, they act like they're doing you a favor. read more

Absolutely one of the worst companies to deal with. I called in asking for a supervisor stupid lady tells me there's not one available. So I asked her if she knows when one will be available and she tells me no. I asked her what her name was and she tells me no. I asked her again are you not going to let me know what your name is and she said no. She continues to tell me that she won't give me her name or tell me when someone would be available to speak with. Then hangs up on me like a rude SOB. Not the only issue, one of their drivers decides the cut me off almost causing me to swerve off the road because they don't understand how to drive that van's # 42. Lol it wasn't even that, and I'm probably just paranoid but her card reader magically stopped working after she asked me if it was cash or card, so we had to stop at the gas station ATM for cash but she stopped the meter as we pulled into glenbrook? So like I should have owed her 25 but she's like "I only have ten for change" so I just gave her 40, got 10, and left... But still.... Lots to type on my stupid phone ( this is after my wife was picked up) I will never put her in this situation ever again!! Went out of their way to provide service. Friendly driver with good conversation. They seem well-managed. No complaints! They are one of the only taxi services so I'd be sure to call ahead of time to ensure they are available at the time you will be needing a ride. They can get busy especially with the 7am morning commute in my experience. read more

Very disappointed. Humana Medicare pays for my rides to doctors appointments. They book with local companies. TWICE now they have been a no-show for rides scheduled days in advance. Their excuse both times was they said they called me to confirm and my number was disconnected. I HAVE A DIFFERENT AREA CODE, and those idiots didn't bother looking at the full number. Shows just how small-minded they are. Kicker is, after the first time it happened both Humana and I talked to the dispatcher and they said they would make a note of it. They are now flagged to not pair with me. I would crawl before getting in their taxis again. read more

The cab took well over 2.5 hours to pick up from the hospital, even though the dispatcher told me 30-45 minutes. And when questioned about the pick-up, he told me that "he couldn't pull a cab out of his but", which is very rude and very unprofessional for anyone representing any business. The only reason I rated the company with 1-star is because I couldn't find an option lower. I would not refer anyone to use this company, very very very poorly ran, plus the cabs are very nasty inside. And the name DELUXE, is really not fitting for the services a customer receive. If you are looking to go somewhere 3 hours after you call you might want to skip this service . called them at 9 pm to pick up a lady @ parkview regional they got there after midnight took her 8 miles and charged her $36 dollars. I called @ 9:45 to see if they picked her up and i was told they Knew nothing of the call by and indian gentlemen that had no concern of what was happening. So I called at 10:50, to get someone to work, after my friend telling me that they couldn't hear him. Okay wow. I go ahead and called and the dude who answered was rude, like wow. Told him someone needs a ride to work and he said okay 15 mins he should be there. I'll walk, or try my luck with the shady guy in the rusty van with black painted windows handing out free candy before I give a penny to this company. To avoid the horror stories I thought I'd take extra steps and do part of their job for them.... And they still screwed it up! Called and asked how long it would take to get to ABC warehouse (getting remote starter installed) 30-45 min she said very unenthusiastically and like I was interrupting her Netflix binge watching time. Whatever, she probably hates her job considering how much she apparently sucks at it. So I time it to get to abc in 20 min, even at the 45 min timeframe, I can play with random stuff for a bit then stand out in the cold waiting on someone who isn't coming. Once an hour passed from the time I first called, I call back, it must have been a really good part in her "stories" cause she was PISSED!!! How did I get the stones to call in after waiting ONLY 15 min past the quoted time. "Give me a minute and let me check" she says with a snotty tone. "It's gonna be another 20-25 minutes" I could hear Walter White cooking a batch in the background I think, no "we're busy, sorry about this" or "he's at X location and will be there shortly" just silence. Before scoffing at her and letting her know how I really felt about the whole thing I just said "ok thank you". Thats when I called the ol' lady, who was at work, to come get me. So she has to drive to a friends house, borrow her car, then come get me. I figured just to be able to finish this "Deluxe" story i'd wait until she got there to call and cancel so I could tell the good people of google and yelp if they ever even showed up. 25 minutes come and go and still no cab in sight... Another 10 minutes pass and the girlfriend is there to save the day. When I called back to tell the dispatcher that if they had someone coming just to cancel it she said "ok" with a little bit of a happier tone and immediately hung up. I'm convinced the ratings above one star here (Edit: google has 5 star ratings. That is what I was talking about here) are either people that are extremely lucky and just happened to be wherever the cab was dropping someone else off at the right time, or most likely Deluxe Taxi employees/owner trying to trick people. ZERO stars would be a better rating if it were an option. Deluxe Taxi was called by our hotel to pick us up from the airport because the hotel shuttle was not operating. It was 1:25am on a Saturday morning and Deluxe was told we were a flight crew that had just arrived. As we walked out we saw a taxi pull out and leave. (At the time didn't know it was ours) We waited ten minutes and then called the hotel because the hotel had said the taxi was called and should be waiting for us. The front desk clerk then called Deluxe and was told that taxi had left because we weren't there. (Obviously didn't look because we saw him leave as we walked that direction.) Driver said he would turn around and be back in ten to fifteen minutes. Twenty five minutes passed and no taxi so the Captain called hotel again and was told the driver was stuck behind the train and would be back in a few minutes, after the train passed. We could see the train pass and fifteen minutes later still no taxi. Captain called a fourth time and was told the cab was one minute away. Ten minutes later cab finally arrived. After four phone calls, each of which involved a lie from the Deluxe dispatcher, we were finally picked up at 2:23am. I probably could've gotten past the lies if the driver had actually apologized for the mishap, but he was a rude jerk to us. Also, had we been told the truth we would have called Uber. Short review is; Deluxe Taxi sucks. Call Uber, or ANYONE else, don't listen to the lies that Deluxe is "on the way." read more

They said 15 minutes and showed up 50 minutes later. If you meant 45-50 minutes you should say so. If I knew it was going to take over an hour to get downtown, I'd of taken the bus and saved myself $20. read more

I road with this outfit today for the first time. The driver was middle eastern, and I could not understand hardly a word he said expect when it came to the money. I can deal with that. However he smelled like he had not bathed in a week, it was terrible and the window at my seat would only go down part way. read more
