We had quite a long and difficult move and both guys were attentive, adaptable, supportive and careful the whole time. They went above and beyond to help make the move as smooth as possible. They even helped to move things onto the street for donation, they broke down and re-built my bed with ease and so much faster than I could have ever done it! They even were able to- last minute- remove the appliances that were in our new place before bringing ours in. Moving sucks and is super hard, but these guys will make it as easy as can be. - Scratched up and broke my furniture. One of his employees stole my poster with the frame. George…read moresaid it's not covered by insurance, so it's not his problem. It took him three days to respond. - Said they would be arriving between 2- 4. Called me at 2 p.m. saying they won't arrive until a little after 4 p.m. The movers didn't come until 10:45 p.m., (I was waiting for 6 hours and 45 minutes) when they knew I had to drive to Toronto that day. I left at 1 a.m. to stay in a hotel (they were still not done, and I had been waiting for 9 hours), because I had to leave the hotel at 7 a.m. to meet his movers in Toronto. I barely got any sleep. - George came to wrap up my furniture at 6:45 p.m. He said if I was mean and rude to him on the phone, he wouldn't have came to my condo to wrap up the furniture. Therefore the job wouldn't have been done until 3 a.m. or later depending on how "fast" his movers went. George lied and said his movers would be done loading the truck in 30 minutes. It took them longer than 2 hours. - While he was on the phone at my condo, he got a call about his movers damaging a customer's furniture. He was going to pay her $100 dollars, but when she said it was more, he said he was only going to pay her $50 dollars. - I had a sign on a box that clearly said to not stack anything on top of it, because there was a computer inside. George stacked a box on top of it, and I had to ask him to take the box off. His mover in Toronto turned the box upside down. Thankfully, I bubble wrapped the computer. However, if the computer was broken, George would not pay for it. - One of his movers gave me attitude for no reason, even though they were 6 hours and 45 minutes late. - I will be reporting him to the Better Business Bureau. Hopefully there will be a resolution.

- Worked very slowly for a small 2 bedroom apartment (that was completely packed and ready to go)…read more- Had to intervene since the workers took smoking breaks when we were already 2 hours late - It took 8+ hours for the move from locations that were 10 minutes away! - This created tons of conflict with our receiving condo supervisor: he was shocked and said within the past 11 years, he has never seen such a slow and incompetent job. - We contacted the head office because the situation was ludicrous and they were very unreasonable. It took several back and forth phone calls to finally agree on a flat rate (7h hours pay)- as the move didn't look like it was ending anytime soon. - The pace of the move only increased when the workers were confronted for being slow and when there was finally an agreement reached for a flat rate (go figure!). - There was never a point when we were rude to our movers, we made sure they stayed hydrated and bought them food even at the end of this fiasco. - This company reeks from the top-down. I have moved 3 times in the past 4 years using different companies. Never has the move taken longer than 4 hours. Never have I faced an unreasonable administration.

It took 5 hours including the traveling time and cost 500$ before tax. It cost me 700$ to move into that apartment 2 years before with another company. They were about 20 minutes late but besides that everything went smoothly. In my 4 experiences with movers Déménagement Rive-Sud is the best. Thanks guys!
