So impressed. Also, before I rented, I asked about bugs and Andrew took the time to explain his cleaning process. When they arrived, it was clear that these were sanitized. Got caught up in Christmas Holidays and never did shop around. Instead, I called U-Haul the day before to say I'd like to rent the truck...was it available if I came the next morning. They told me yes. I arrive first thing the next morning, ready to take the truck. They tell me there's no deposit, I have to pay everything in full before renting. I've rented trucks to use locally and cross the border, yet paying an estimated full amount is definitely a first. Fine. I give my card and it gets declined. So I call Visa. No biggie, they just put a hold on my card thinking this transaction was suspicious/fraud. Visa immediately unblocks my card, and say it will now work. I tell the U Haul Rep to take the full amount...and he suddenly tells me they want to take an ADDITIONAL $400 ($1300 total for a 1 day renta!?l). I calmly explain that had Visa NOT placed a protection block on my card...the transaction would have gone through and I'd be on the road already! Once he told me about this magical new additional deposit, I walked out. My entire moving day was wasted, as well as $60+ in cab fares. I went home, called BUDGET for the SAME rental scenario...and it's an astounding 1/3 the price. Bye bye U-Haul.

I really appreciated their large warehouse as there are many docks for multiple moving trucks to unload things simultaneously, so no waiting in line to unload which makes moving in a breeze. Also, this warehouse is 1 level, so I didn't have to worry about using any elevators. The management was also fantastic as they answered every single question I had - including any questions I had about security. I also felt good knowing my locker is being watched by cameras 24/7.
