I want to start off by saying how amazing my experience with Holly was! I know many people don't…read moreread long reviews so if you're like me and only skim through the first few sentences, what I want to get across is that I had an amazing experience, Holly is truly an eyebrow artist and I would recommend her to anyone (I've actually already told a few people about her) But if you care to learn a little bit more about my experience because it was a little different than others please read below I found Holly on Instagram. My hairdresser got her eyebrows micro-bladed by another artist in Holly's studio who I followed in IG. One day she shared Holly's work and instantly I knew I wanted to get my brows done by her. I DM'd her and we scheduled my consultation- it was simple and easy. My consultation was quick and easy. I went in and chatted with her about what I wanted and I appreciated her honesty (I had previous work what was pretty faded but not completely faded) and how she was realistic about what we could accomplish. At the consultation we scheduled my appointment. *what I like about Holly is I never felt pressured to make an appointment at my consultation, it felt like she just wanted me to do what was right for me* I went in for my appointment a month or so after my consultation and we worked together to figure out the shape that I wanted and we began the process. The first pass was without any numbing and then after that we began the numbing and the process. After a few passes Holly stopped and let me know that the ink wasn't cooperating with my skin and for some reason my skin was rejecting the ink. (My brows basically only looked slightly darker than when I came in) we stopped and agreed to see how I healed and keep in touch. Holly reached out to me the next day to see how I was doing/healing and we kept in touch for the next week or so. She has talked to a PA to try to figure out why someone skin would not agree with the ink. In the end she found a solution and ordered a different kind of ink and we scheduled a second appointment. I came in, we went through the process of figuring out the shape again and she did the first pass with the new ink and viola it worked! She paused and let me see and we continued the process. It only took a few hours and now I have the perfect brows! All in all, although my experience was unconventional, I had a great experience overall and I'm so happy I decided to get my eyebrows done with Holly aka Eyebrow Girl Studio and I would 100% recommend her.
